Almost immediately after purchasing a cell phone, people often ask how they can download or buy ringtones for their new phone. Why do people want different ringtones? Most people buy ring tones for their cell phones because they either do not like the cell phone ring tones that come pre-programmed on the cell phone or they like to have the diversity of a variety of ring tones on their phone and they can change the ring tones based upon their respective moods or based upon the individual caller that is calling.

My favorite ring tone right now is the theme song to Monday Night Football because it is the start of the football season. My second favorite cell phone ring tone is the Paper Lines song from the band MIA. I believe that was the theme song from the movie Pineapple Express.

One of the most anticipated video games in recent history is Gears of War 2. Based on the success of the first Gears of War, the sequel is expected to be a commercial and critical success. The game throws you into the middle of some of the most amazing battles ever seen on a video game console. The release date for the new game is November 7, 2008.

The game, based on the handiwork of Joshua Ortega is a characteristic good vs. evil battle. At stake is the fate of the entire human race. In this edition, the Locust have developed a diabolical plan to take out entire cities at once. They tunnel gigantic holes that can swallow entire metropolitan areas. This means Marcus Fenix and the COG Delta Squad have to go underground. They’re taking the battle to the Locust’s home turf with the hope of catching them off guard.

While the original game was ground-breaking in its own right, the new version promises to be even bigger and better. At the Game Developers Conference, Epic Games revealed the launch of the title, as well as several new features. Through trial game play at the conference, the media was able to discover a few awesome new things. For example, during a battle, you can now use a dead body as a shield. While this is a ghastly tactic, it will definitely come in handy in a pinch. Besides little nuances like this, the story goes deeper, the characters are richer, the weapons are bigger, and the overall experience is breathtaking. You can even dual with an opponent using a chainsaw attachment!

While this will certainly be a popular game, it’s not meant for children. This version of the game is especially gory. Case in point: when someone is killed near you, blood splashes your character. Trails of blood cover the battlefield and, of course, profanity is constantly used by all the characters. However, there is a new feature called the “Mature Content Filter.” It does what it says: it filters all violent content and profanity. This is handy if your child really wants to play the game.

Besides these new features, the game also showcases several Xbox Live capabilities. You can play a multiplayer game with your friends from anywhere in the world. The game plays impeccably regardless of whether you’re online or in the same room. This is a great way to stay in touch with your fellow “Gearheads”.

Gears of War 2 is a terrific game that will be an even bigger success than the first. If you plan on buying it right off the bat, you might want to preorder it, because it will sell out. If you love third-person shooter games that aren’t named Halo, this could be the game for you.

After the popularity of the latest Batman film, the Dark Knight, it isn’t surprising that so many children and adults want to dress as characters from the film. The Joker was one of the greatest parts of the film, with his sinister looks and trademark catchphrase ‘why so serious?’ In fact so many people are imitating the Joker that it is a natural choice for any Halloween party. What is that strange Bear scene in The Shining about (and is it a bear)?
The “bear scene” is a brief moment in The Shining when Wendy, beginning to see the same “1920′s Party” events that Jack’s been seeing, is wandering through the halls of the hotel. As she looks around a corner, she sees two shapes huddled over the edge of a bed. As she looks, they are revealed to be two men, possibly engaged in oral sex. One is wearing what looks to be a bear (1) costume. The scene is taken directly from Stephen King’s novel.

What’s the name of Dorothy’s cow?
This seems to be a popular trivia question in radio contests. Dorothy doesn’t have a pet cow in the books nor in any of the movie versions of The Wizard of Oz. But in the 1902 stage production, Toto was replaced by Dorothy’s pet cow Imogene, probably because it was easier to fit an actor inside a cow costume than a little black dog costume.
