Gold Guide for World of Warcraft
Everyone who is into World of Warcraft definitely wants to earn more gold. It’s a major need when you buy the items you want to acquire like armor or weapons, and it becomes very useful for winged mounts and skills at the later part of the game as well. The only problem here is that gold is certainly very challenging to find, so you’re going to have to be on your toes to earn it in most ways possible.
In this World of Warcraft Gold Guide, we will let you see the many options for having gold for yourself, which include grinding, professions, flipping, or purchasing gold from gold sellers. For this guide, we’re turning on just the first three mentioned options. Every player could learn these skills in a breeze and once you get hold of it, it would be easy to make lots of gold in a short span of time. You just have to know how to do it and where to create it. Let’s start going for the gold.
Grinding for Gold
Grinding for gold is the fastest and the easiest way to get a lot of gold. It may be tedious, but certain locations and techniques can let you earn up to 50 gold pieces an hour, so it is well worth it. As a bonus, grinding for gold will also increase your experience points so it really does pay off in the long run.
If you’re serious about grinding, there are only a few places that you need to focus on. Most opportunities for getting high amounts of gold per hour are going to be in the higher levels. However, grinding mobs almost everywhere and flipping the items that they drop will also earn you a lot of gold. We’ll get into that later.
Getting past level 50, opportunities just spring up for quality grinding. Winterspring, a region full of mobs, would earn you 50 gold pieces an hour, so make sure you spend a long time here. The best places to start grinding is at the Winterfall Village.
There are a lot of furbolgs here, and they are relatively easy to kill while having a high drop rate. As a bonus, you can earn your Timbermaw here.
Another good opportunity for grinding in this region is engaging the Yetis in Everlook Forest. They deal minimal damage and are easy enough to overcome on your own. Look for the Frostsabers because they are very easy targets. As your level of experience increases and by the time you reach Level 80, you’ll be in the Eastern Plaguelands where finding mobs for grinding is also easy.
Another easy target is the Mossflayer Zombie which can easily earn you about 50 gold pieces within an hour. You just need to have patience, and the right techniques to go with it.
Professions that Earn Gold
This method can definitely be more interesting than grinding. However, it may take you a bit longer to get more gold. Although most professions can make you profit, it would be best to rely on skinning, leatherworking, and blacksmithing. A profession such as Fishing is a secondary profession that can also earn you gold. However, you will need to have the basic skill of cooking first in order to make any profit out of a skill such as fishing.
Alchemy is another good profession, but you eed to spend a lot of time gathering or purchasing the necessary items. A good profession to start with is either kinning or blacksmithing. These mesh well with flipping, which we’ll talk about next.
Increasing your skills can effectively help you earn more gold with your profession. However, this can distract you from questing, so you must know how to balance your time. Getting a skill level of over 300 is pretty good. However, it will definitely require a lot of patience. If you do this, the value of your items will be higher and you may get more profit in the process.
