Exactly How To Beat The Craps Table
Craps is one of the most exciting games on the casino floor. When a player is hitting the winning numbers on the dice, the crowds will gather and the excitement will build exponentially. When it beating the casino and the game of craps, the house holds a smaller than average winning percentage which means the player is left with more money and more chances to win.
Craps tips can show a player how to beat the game of craps and win money every time. While beating the game of craps is possible, the house is still in the game to make money and eventually the house will prevail. The player must be in the game for a short streak of winning and have enough self control to back out of the game when the table runs cold.
Craps is made up of four styles of betting. The four bets are pass, don’t pass, come and don’t come. Players falling into the pass and come categories are betting with the dice shooter or the “right” way. The don’t pass and don’t come players are betting against the shooter or the “wrong” way.
When a player chooses to bet wrong, the house odds of winning are reduced slightly. However, this reduction is no necessarily equal to the social advantage of betting “right”. If the player chooses the “wrong” bet, the bet should be kept on the table for consecutive rolls to increase the odds of winning money at the game of craps.
Betting “free” bets, “odd” bets and “behind the line” bets are another way to beat the game of craps. The “free” bets reduce the house edge of winning to only 1% which makes these bets one of the most popular in the game of craps. When a player places $10 on the pass line with the shooter betting 4, another bet can be placed for $10 behind the line. If the shooter hits the four, the player will win back the bet amount plus the 2/1 odds, or true odds amount. The true odds for the points bets are 4,10 paying 2/1, 5, 9 paying 3/2 and 6,8 paying 6/5.
These bets need to be placed in multiples of $10.00 in order to optimize the amount of money won. The player can also make the “free”, “odd” and “behind the line” bets in conjunction with the don’t pass or don’t come bets.
Finally, another craps tip is to make place bets on the 6 or the 8. These bets have a house edge of about 1.5% and pay off at 7/6. None of the other Place bets should be played. Nor should any other bet on the board be played. The odds against you for anything else, Big 6, Big 8 or any bet in the center prop box is increasing the house edge in great multiples over the basic bets that the player should be concentrating on.
If beating the game is your goal, stick to the craps tips described here. Further, to minimize the risk of being victimized by the “long run”, press your play when hot or when the shooter is hot, and back off when things get cold. The latter tip is the toughest one to follow and will make or break you as a player.
