If you are using articles to promote your business, there is a strategy you need to know about.

It’s called word stemming.

The usual word stemming method is to add alternate endings to a word stem (such as sell) to get variations on that root word like selling, sellable and seller.

Of particular interest to me was a technique I read about in a report called Secret Article Profits. The beauty of this is that you can quickly unearth a large selection of related keywords by using this strategy.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

1. This is not your usual stemming approach where you as a writer just add different endings to a word stem.

2. And it’s not the other frequently seen approach of adding words before or afterwards such as selling online, online selling, power seller, eBay selling and how to sell.

WHY YOU WIN BY DOING THIS

This method of multiplying keywords uses an online tool (which is free incidentally) to deliver NATURAL keywords as well as the vocabulary extensions you’ll get from the first two techniques. As such it helps you generate the sort of vocabulary (and therefore keywords!) that people use in normal informed discussion about your topic.

That, my friend, is exactly what the search engines want to find in your writing… natural speech, normal word patterns.

In other words, this online service will give you a list of the expressions and words that your ideal prospects are typing into their favorite search engines. Write about those and your articles are precisely what they want. They are your warm market, and Dylan Loh shows how to reach them.

Personally, I can say that Dylan’s article marketing guide has given me a lot of doable ideas. It can also equip you to provide the kind of targeted article content that generates profit for a long time to come.

Created in San Francisco, in 1932, the Group f/64 included photographers like Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, and John Paul Edwards. The seven founders originally announced a show, including themselves and others as guests. A few years later, however, many more photographers were de facto members. Members, particularly Ansel Adams, went on to have an extremely significant effect on the way photography was and is performed, both in the US and worldwide. In 2006, one of his prints fetched more than $600,000 at auction.

Though the initial name of the group was proposed as the then-common Uniform System designation of US 256, the members decided to use f/64 as it was less likely to be confused with a nationalist name. F/64 is the smallest setting on large format cameras, securing the maximum field depth. This means that a photo taken on this setting has the same sharpness from background to foreground.

Small apertures require long exposures, which meant subjects had to be very still for a very long time. It was an idea aperture for still-lives and landscapes. However, the group’s location in California meant that these long exposures were less necessary, given the relatively bright light available. Cameras of this size did tend to be large and clumsy, which limited subject matter to some degree, however. By comparison, the cameras used in 1930s reporting and action photos were much smaller and easier to maneuver.

This camera size went well with the philosophy espoused by the group for “straight photography”. Pictorialism was in fashion in San Francisco at the time – an opposing movement dating from the end of the nineteenth century in which photography attempted to emulate etchings and paintings. Soft focuses, special lens coatings and filters, and heavy darkroom manipulation were all used to achieve this end, which Group f/64 found unnecessary. They strove for a clear, defined photographic image using simple, direct presentation and photographic methods only, a strong contrast to the pictorialist philosophy.

The aim of Group f/64 was the redefinition of photography by means of its intrinsic limitations. They pointed out that the aesthetics and ideological conventions of painting and drawing, which were often used to judge photography, had developed before photography itself even existed, and could not take that medium into proper account. Members of Group f/64 went on to be some of the most influential photographers in the country, and their techniques and photographs are taught in many photography schools.

Can you picture a singer getting short of breath while singing in public with a very popular song? This is every singer’s nightmare, and can be avoided. There is something that can be done about the issue of breath support.

Breathing methods are one of the most significant skills that a singer should learn. You can control your voice with practicing the right breathing techniques, as it will enable you as a singer to hold and change your breath for extended intervals of time. If you learn good breath support you will be able to sing smoothly and present an impressive performance.

When you breath deeply, you will find that your voice modulates much better. Shallow breathing merely involves air stored in the upper lungs, while diaphragmatic breathing involves the expansion of the abdomen or stomach. When someone breathes this way it is widely believed to be a much better way of gaining good breath support.

If you practice good breath support you should be able to breathe deeply, which is important in singing. You need to be fully calm and hold no tension in your body while you attempt the breathing exercises. Don’t wear tight-fitting clothing such as belts, skirts, ties, slacks, jeans as these will restrict circulation and air flow from the lungs.

Keep in mind if the jaws are not clamped together, your hands are not squeezed together in a tense grip, and the your legs are not taut yet standing firmly on the ground. The point is you want to feel totally relaxed with no muscle tension so that you are mentally willing to sing effortlessly.

If you place your hand on your chest and stomach, you will note the increase in the girth of your stomach and chest. Begin with several inhalations and exhalations so you can feel where the enlargement is happening. If you notice that the rib cage is getting bigger, note your breathing such as your stomach area.

When you exhale, note that it is more essential than inhaling so that you must breath out gradually or little by little. Add some panting exercises to the mix, as it is a type of breathing exercise. The diaphragm will respond effectively when you take several intense panting breaths very rapidly.

Constant practice makes deep breathing easy and natural, so that the singer does it unconsciously, like a conditioned reflex action. This enables proper modulation and exhalation of breath during a song and helps in relaxing the singer, thus making the song better. However, breath control comes gradually with long practice and therefore cannot be expected to work wonders overnight.

Baby shower planning often requires a lot of time and work, but after all is said and done, producing a successful event can be one of the most rewarding experiences a host can have. When she sees the excitement, joy, and fun everyone is having, all the energy expended is returned in spades.

Because of the work involved in a baby shower, it’s usually hosted by a close friend or family member of the guest of honor. And this honored position carries with it a huge amount of influence in deciding one of the biggest questions about the shower – is it surprise for the mom or will she know about it ahead of time?

Having the shower a surprise for the mom can be a lot of fun. And it will require a designated person to 1) construct a reason to get together with the mom on the designated time and date of the shower, and 2) transport the guest of honor to the event. This person may be the husband, father, family member, or close friend.

While a planned shower (where the mom-to-be is in the know) requires less coordination, in both cases having a theme for the shower goes a long way in making it a special event. Having a theme helps the host arrange the other aspects of the baby shower like invitations, decorations, food, and games.

Before the guests leave, the expectant mom may want to open the baby shower gifts and have her reactions recorded on camera. Someone should assist her in recording the names of the giver and the gift brought for later use in sending thank you notes.
