Value Your Knowledge: Dan Kennedy Information Marketing Secret

by Neeraj Varma

Would a simple way to make a five figure income every month grab your attention? Gaj Subudhi of superstarsmarketing.com built his business up from scratch to five figures per month in a short period of time. His strategy was to buy courses, use them, then take his personal experience and package it up to help others.

Gaj was interviewed by Rob Toth as part of Dan Kennedy’s Info Riches course. The full series of interviews involving the top information marketers is called “Future Of Information Marketing”.

As a software architect, Gaj had been working for a large company until he started his online business. Up to that point he didn’t know anything about business or marketing.

Gaj started buying course after course like we all do. He wanted to “know it all” before he started his business. Gaj says “if you put more information into your brain it creates more opportunity”. Since he was learning a lot from the courses, he saw a lot of “opportunity” but unfortunately he wasn’t part of it until he started to apply what he was learning.

When Gaj took action he found that there were a lot of things that were a little different from what the courses said. When he started explaining these subtle differences to people he became a man-in-demand. Gaj says to “use and apply information to create value in the world”. He found that by using the information he was buying, the things he learned from experience had value for other people.

There are so many sources of information that people have access to. They buy course after course but they don’t apply what they learn. Invariably, they get stuck at a certain point and they stop trying. According to Gaj the big money is in “helping people consume in the right way”. This is the most important thing…even more important than acquiring more knowledge.

Information is so easily available. There are courses and books that were sold for a lot of money which are now available for free on the Internet. If you have a lot of information you just end up with “analysis paralysis”. Acquiring more and more information doesn’t allow you to “have your own value or your own voice”, says Gaj.

Gaj says that people should “do something with whatever they know” and “try to expose the value of what you know to help people”. “Create your own value out of the existing information” that you already have.

The way Gaj sees it, people don’t have enough self-confidence to value their own knowledge. There will always be more and more to learn. The amount of information available to people is growing at an exponential rate. There is a video on YouTube that every information marketer should see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpEnFwiqdx8 .

Based on this video you can see that the best sevice you can provide to people is to help them reduce their information overload by sharing what you know through experience. At some point you have to just trust that what you know will be valuable for others and put it out there. “Taking action is critical,” says Gaj. There’s lots of talk out there but information based on experience is what is most helpful for people.

Toy Story: From Infinity to Your Collection

by Fabian Toulouse

Originally released in 1995, TOY STORY is the brainchild of John Lasseter, the executive producer of such beloved Pixar and Disney films as THE INCREDIBLES, MONSTERS INC, and RATATOUILLE. In many ways, TOY STORY set the mark for all the features that would follow. Indeed, audience response to the film was phenomenal, earning over $192 million domestically and $358 million worldwide.

The plot of the film centers on Woody, the old fashioned cowboy and former favorite of Andy’s. When Andy received the present of a new Buzz Lightyear, Woody becomes distraught. Buzz becomes Andy’s new favorite and Woody only wishes to have the status returned to him. Buzz actually thinks he really is a space ranger and finds Woody to be an interference while he tries to complete his mission. Woody challenges Buzz to fly with his wings and Buzz gets stuck on a toy airplane and thinks he has succeeded.

Woody plots to be rid of Buzz and as the Pixar gods would have it, they both end up hitching a ride with Pizza Planet delivery boy in an attempt to get to Andy. Buzz catches up; only to end up having both toys left behind while Andy’s mom fuels her car. Hitching a ride with a pizza delivery driver, the two toys make their way to Pizza Planet where Buzz mistakes the spaceship shaped claw machine as his own. He ends up in the hands of evil neighbor Sid Phillips and in Sid’s home where they meet mutant toys, all deformed by Sid. While hiding at Sid’s, Buzz sees a commercial for toys like himself and becomes severely heartbroken to find that he really is a toy; that all his features are fake. Woody admits to Buzz that he is a cool, after all, and with the help of the mutant toys, they both escape Sid’s sinister home.

Arriving at Andy’s home, they are only in time to see him drive away. Through another little adventure Woody and Buzz, with the help of Andy’s other toys, manage to embark upon the moving van, make it into the car with Andy and all three are reunited in joy and love. Now best friends, Buzz and Woody make it through the year until Christmas where they, with all the other toys, discuss the new arrivals, to see if there are any new threats especially with the new puppy.

TOY STORY is a reinterpretation of the 1990 Pixar short, TIN TOY. The original toys were brought back and new ones created to form the cast of the 1995 blockbuster. This Disney Classic had a sequel released in 1999 and the third installment is in pre-production as of 2008. Both Tom Hanks (Woody) and Tim Allen (Buzz) are said to reprise their signature roles. TOY STORY won several awards, including the top position out of 100 Best Movies of All Time by Online Film Critics Society. This is a definite must-have for any family collection.

Comcast Provides The Connection Speed Needed For Today’s Web

by Rachel Smith

It used to be that a dial up modem capable of 56 Kbps provided enough speed for most people to enjoy the Internet from the comfort of their own home. Thanks to the growing complexity of the Internet and the increasing amount of multimedia entertainment available on the World Wide Web, a mere dial up connection really doesn’t satisfy anybody these days. In fact, even some of the faster means of connecting to the World Wide Web can be pretty disappointing. For example, even though DSL qualifies in many people’s minds as a high speed Internet connection, it’s really a light duty Internet connection at best. It may be fine for things like email, text messaging, and even moving around the occasional digital photo, but DSL will start to cause grief when its users attempt to download larger files like software applications, videos, and music over it.

Satellite Internet is a little bit faster than DSL, but it has a fair number of problems itself. Specifically, it has a time lag created by the distance that the data has to travel to and from the satellites in orbit. This time lag makes satellite based Internet access a bad choice for VoIP applications, online gaming, or anything else where a slight pause could cause problems. The other problem with satellite Internet is that it’s really expensive, both in initial equipment fees and monthly subscription fees.

Most people will find that the best type of Internet service for their homes is a broad band cable high speed Internet connection like what’s provided by Comcast. This type of Internet connection is faster than any of the others mentioned above. About the only type of Internet access that’s faster is a T1 connection, but since that’s not available for residential use, it’s kind of a moot point. Comcast’s high speed Internet technology provides download speeds of up to 8 Mbps. That’s about seventy times faster than dial up and several times faster than even satellite based Internet service. Plus, a broad band cable Internet connection is always on, so you don’t have to wait for the dial in process to complete.

In addition there’s no noticeable time lag, which makes it good for video games and VoIP. (Comcast can also provide digital voice phone service bundled with high speed Internet which makes VoIP less attractive, but at least this technology allows you to have the option of using a VoIP service.)

A broad band cable high speed Internet connection gives you access to plenty of the material on the World Wide Web that’s simply too data intensive to be practical with a slower connection. This includes things like video files- even ones big enough to contain full length movies. Of course downloading a full length movie will take a lot of bandwidth, but when huge files like that aren’t being downloaded, Comcast’s high speed Internet service provides more than enough bandwidth to allow several people to do normal web surfing all at the same time. A wireless router is extremely useful for this because it allows different devices to take advantage of an Internet connection without being physically connected to the cable modem. Comcast will provide a free wireless router in addition to a free wireless modem. This will allow you to connect to the Internet both by wireless technology as well as wired technology.

If you’re good enough at networking, you might even be able to set up a home network so that you can share files among all of your computers over the wireless network enabled by this free router.

These are just a few ways a truly high speed Internet connection can improve your life, and Comcast can supply it for you.

Comcast Provides Alternative To Inferior Internet Technologies

by Rachel Smith

Getting high speed Internet access in your home has never been more important than it is right now, and it’s likely to get more important in the future. That’s because there are a growing number of opportunities to take advantage of on the Internet. These range from educational opportunities like getting further education, to the opportunity to get entertainment, to access to jobs. Even access to information about investments and banking is being provided increasingly online!

In order to get high speed Internet access from your own home, you actually have to sort out several different options. For example, you can get high speed Internet access from a cable TV company like Comcast, a phone company in the form of DSL, through a company that can provide you with a link to the Internet via satellite, or possibly take advantage of municipal wireless service.

We’ll start with satellite Internet because it’s the most widely available. Satellite Internet has the advantage of being accessible from just about anywhere. You don’t even need a phone line to access the Internet over a satellite link. That convenience comes at a big price though. Not only are you limited to a slow connection speed with satellite Internet, but you also have to pay hundreds of dollars for the necessary equipment, plus a monthly fee of fifty to seventy dollars. That makes satellite Internet the option of last resort for most people.

DSL service is also widely available because it’s delivered over a normal phone line, but it also has the disadvantage of being slow. DSL speeds can be compromised by distance form a connection node and low quality phone lines. Plus, it’s pretty expensive for what it is.

Municipal wireless Internet access is something of a pipe dream. If implemented, this form of Internet access would provide some decent connection speeds for free or at a low price, but it lacks the reliability and security of other types of Internet service. After all, it’s not difficult for people to pick up on what you’re looking at on the Internet just by intercepting the signals.

Cable based Internet access through a company like Comcast is probably the ideal choice for high speed access to the Internet. That’s because Comcast’s Internet service is based on the cable technology that allows cable companies to deliver TV service. This robust technology can deliver many times the download speeds of other types of services and Comcast is especially fast because it provides a special feature that it calls Power Boost that cranks up the download speed by fifty percent in order to hurry along especially big files.

A broad band cable Internet connection of the type that Comcast provides is an especially good value because it costs far less than satellite and is in the same ballpark as DSL, even though it’s so much faster than either of them! Plus, it’s much more secure than municipal WiFi because of the fact that the service is delivered over buried cables instead of easily intercepted radio signals.

Generally speaking, broad band cable Internet access from a company like Comcast is the best choice and all of the other options are only stop gap measures.

Choosing Karaoke Songs For The Different Age Groups

by Barry Adams

Almost every age group we have, has karaoke lovers, and they all seem to enjoy the karaoke songs no matter what age group they are most applicable to. Having said that, every age group pretty much has its favorites though. If you are a Karaoke Disc Jockey it might be beneficial for you to know what songs would fit in best or be most popular with the general age group of your audience. Here are just a few examples of how you could categorize your music according to audience age group.

Suppose you are doing a birthday party for pre schoolers or entertaining a family group. Here is where your job is really going to get challenging, trying to please such a wide diversity of age groups. Perhaps at one time the little ones would have run off to play while the adults did their little sing along. Not anymore these little ones want in on the action. Most likely if they have learned how to talk then they are ready to sink karaoke songs. Often these songs that are favored on the nursery rhyme or kindergarten songs such as, Baa Baa Black sheep, Oh Susanna, or old MacDonald had a farm. Think back and you’ll remember how much you enjoyed them as a kid.

Ok, so now you have tired out the little ones lets move onto the preteens. These are so hard to please. They pretty well choose their karaoke songs based on what the older ones will like. Only problem here is if parents are present then they might not be too happy at their pre teeners belting out some heavy metal music. Try and find a happy medium here. You just might convince the kids to sing out some Daddy A Go Go karaoke songs. They may or may not be their favorites but they do find them amusing.

For all the in-betweens now is going to be your easiest part. For the teens you are going to need a selection of the most current karaoke songs, in rock, heavy rock and rap. Then for the parents you’re looking at songs from the 50′s up to the 80′s. Oh yes there’s a bit more that has got to be included here. For each of these eras you need a selection of rock and roll, country western, jazz, and perhaps some blues.

For the senior there something sad about their music, and that’s becomes it comes from a time when so many of their loved ones were killed in the wars. So the music they seem to play and love the most is what is called the old war songs. To your best to have a selection of Karaoke songs to fit this age group. Such as the white cliffs of Dover, or I’ll take you home again Kathleen. One only needs to look at the face of one of the seniors singing these songs and you will see a flood of memories pass across their face.

So doing a karaoke party for a mixed group can be pretty challenging when it comes to the music. After all you do want to be popular amongst all age groups. If you have a tight budget however, you might want to stick to entertaining the age group that you have the most music for.

Where’s the Best Place to Find a Wii?

by Matt Hellstrom

When Christmas comes around, the age old dilemna (at least age old being the last 4 years) is not only where can we find the best price for a Wii, but where can we find one at all? And this year will be no exception. With the great games that came out this year – Wii Music and Guitar Hero 3 Complete Band – the stampede is on to get a Wii.

Finding the best price for the Nintendo Wii.

The best place to start looking for the best price on a Wii is one of the auction sites. Here you can find the best price because you can bid for the price you want and you get to choose when you want to have it delivered. The best auction site is Ebay. Here you can find the best price for Wii. Not only can you find what you want, you have options like new systems, bundled systems and used systems. There are so many sellers on Ebay, you can’t miss in finding the best price for a Wii on the auction site Ebay.

If finding a used Wii system is an option, using Ebay is good choice for the best price for sure! They even have used systems that are like new and with the strict policy guidelines establised by Ebay, you can be assured that what you see is what you will get.

Another great reason to shop Ebay for your Wii – not being able to find it anywhere else! Previously, the Wii has sold out pretty much everywhere and your only chance to find it is on Ebay. Even if you end up paying a little more than retail, you are going to have a Wii. And really, you’re still going to pay the best price, since you’ve got so many options.

You can shop your local retail stores, but will probably pay more. The good thing about local is that you will be able to leave with your purchase, even if it is not the best price on Wii.

Another good site for shopping for a best price on Wii is Amazon Marketplace. Amazon offers their easy to use, dependable shipping and ease of returns if needed. Plus you can find both new and used systems on this website. There are also a bunch of add-ons for your system – including great games – here.

Hope these ideas will be helpful in finding the best prices for a Wii. Don’t delay though – or both the best prices and then the Wii themselves will disappear.

Best New TV Technology Implemented By Comcast

by Rachel Smith

The technology that’s been developed over the past decade or so has made a big difference in how we view and enjoy TV and one company that’s done a good job of embracing and executing the technology is Comcast.

One type of technology that Comcast has really excelled at implementing is video on demand. Video on demand essentially gives TV viewers the ability to choose various kinds of video clips from an archive of content. Once a program is chosen, the viewer can begin watching the video clip right away without having to wait for it to air like with normal TV. Comast implements video on demand technology through two different services. The primary one is its pay per view service which is called ON DEMAND. With ON DEMAND a viewer selects a movie from a list of recently released movie titles, pays for the movie and can start watching the movie right away.

The second kind of video on demand service from Comcast is called Premiums On Demand. Premiums On Demand is a subscription service that provides access to content from premium movie channels like HBO and Showtime. This content can be accessed whenever the subscriber wants at no charge in addition to the subscription fee. That makes Premiums On Demand a great example of video on demand technology.

Another newer technology that Comcast provides for its subscribers is HDTV. HDTV, which is short for High Definition Television, is a new TV format that was created to provide a way for movie buffs to watch major motion pictures in the comfort of their own homes while getting the full enjoyment of the movie. This is made possible by the fact that HDTV has a wide screen aspect ratio of 16:9 just like the screen in a movie theater, a high resolution picture, and features Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound for an audio experience a lot like what you’d get in a commercial movie theater. Of course a special HDTV set and sound system are necessary to enjoy HD programming, but Comcast can supply the programming to go with your selection of equipment.

One type of technology that Comcast makes available as part of its hardware options is the digital video recorder. A digital video recorder, or DVR for short, is a high tech way to make sure that you don’t miss your favorite TV shows. Basically, a digital video recorder can be programmed to record movies, TV shows, sports event, and anything else that you want to watch when you aren’t around. It’s a lot easier to program than a VCR and since it stores the recorded programming on a built in computer hard disk, you won’t have to worry about video cassette tapes either.

Comcast’s user friendly software also provides a huge leap forward in user friendliness. Not only does it make a DVR much easier and more intuitive to program, but it also makes deciding what to watch much easier. For example, the on screen program guide will tell you what’s on each channel in an easily understood chart format that virtually eliminates the need to channel surf. Parental control software will also go a long way toward helping to keep your kids from accidentally stumbling onto inappropriate programming.

TV technology has made a lot of strides forward in recent years and Comcast is one of the companies that puts that technology into practice.

Online Poker: Holdem Poker Game

by Holding Pairs

In the poker business, we have seen an explosion in the last ten years. Poker business people are making big money during the growing poker industry. We will show you how business people are making money from this increase in poker activity.

Before we talk about that, here are the reasons why poker has taken off. We can look back and see three distinct events that worked together to cause the increase in people hitting the poker tables. Alright, listed in order, this is what took place that led to the poker boom.

It all starts in 1994 when polish poker player, inventor, Henry Orenstein conceived, and patented, the equipment for the “hole card cam”. This allows viewers to know the hole cards of the players during TV replays. The first use of the device was in 1997 on The Late Night Poker Show, in England.

Poker had been on TV since the 70′s, however few people were watching. The reason for this was that not knowing what cards the players were holding, you had no idea what the players tactics were. The hole card camera made viewing poker on TV a lot more attractive.

The next event that an indispensable in causing the poker boom was the start of online poker. The first online poker room began in 1998. Players can now play poker from the comfort of home. Web based poker action will have a steady increase in players as players began using these new poker venues.

Now we’re ready for the last thing that produced the poker boom. When Chris Moneymaker beats some of the top pros in the game to win the world series of poker Main Event in 2003, poker takes off. Getting his seat by winning a $40 satellite at an online poker site, then winning pokers most coveted tournament, completes the sequence.

The combination of the hole card cam drastically adding to the number of people seeing poker on TV, and the build up of online poker adding to the number of poker players, set things up for the poker boom that the Moneymaker win set off. With the world seeing an online, amateur rookie player, win the biggest tournament in poker, poker boomed.

This rapid increase in activity produces an incredible number of opportunities for aggressive entrepreneurs. There are many ways to become wealthy in this growing poker industry. Most of these business opportunities are internet based. Here are a few of the businesses you might want to start in this growing industry.

Some poker amateurs are now trying to be successful professional poker players. Some dedicated marketers have gotten very wealthy finding poker players for the online poker rooms. Books about poker are fabulous sellers.

Business people are selling software programs that help online players to study their own play from the games they play in. Some entrepreneurs have started their own online poker rooms. We have seen live poker leagues happening at local bars just about everywhere.

These are most, but definately not all, of the interesting opportunities that people are finding to cash in on the poker boom. Operating a poker opportunity with an online presence certainly appears to be the most promising. The future for poker still looks bright, and there is plenty of money to be made for those ambitious enough to take action.
