In the movies, in jokes, and sometimes in real life attorneys are perceived as an unreliable and pushy bunch who overcharge and use their often overbearingly outgoing personalities mixed with manipulation to get what they want.

If you are looking to file for bankruptcy you should take all of these perceptions into account when looking for a good attorney to represent you. Also keep in mind that each individual is just that – an individual. Third, the phone book. Attorneys will spend a lot of money advertising in the yellow pages and you may be able to find a qualified candidate to help you out there.

Fourth, print and other media. Check the newspaper ads, read recent articles about bankruptcy which might mention a local attorney’s name, and keep an eye out for those ever famous billboards. Take down the phone numbers and call around. You might be able to find a competent attorney for less money in legal fees than the one you just got off the phone with.

In short, be an educated consumer. Now is the time to take action and researching the person who will be the one to make your life a lot easier is just the first step in being a responsible citizen.

Many people have bankruptcy questions ranging from “What is Chapter Eleven versus Chapter Seven?” to “What is bankruptcy and how will it affect my future credit rating?”

A reputable attorney will be able to answer these questions and more for you. If they don’t know the answer right off the bat they should definitely offer to research it and let you know what they find out. Be leery of any attorney who is willing to accept your money but who is not interested in doing the work that it will take to get your case through the courts as soon as possible.

Be aware of the fact that you did not get into this situation overnight and you will not be able to get out of it overnight either. It will take time for a dedicated professional attorney to look through your debt and devise the best plan and the best way to declare bankruptcy so that you can keep as many of your belongings as possible and have a solid financial foot to stand on for the future.

“You can charge thousands for things that others are charging hundreds for”, says Willie Crawford, a 35 year vetran in direct marketing and a 12 year online information marketer.

Rob Toth interviewed Willie as part of Dan Kennedy’s Info Riches course. Rob was interviewing the top information marketers in a series called “Future Of Information Marketing”.

According to Willie the best thing to do is to “focus on selling a product that offers a solution to a really, really huge and painful problem…one that people would happily pay to solve”. So many people start off trying to sell things that the market really doesn’t want. “People know what they want”, says Willie. You could try to sell them something that they don’t want but you won’t get anywhere. Even if they want it and don’t understand that they want it you are facing an uphill battle. You probably won’t succeed.

Do your research. You need to “find something that is so incredibly painful that people would do almost anything to buy the solution”. Once you know what they want so badly, sell them the best solution in the market.

You don’t have to have a perfect product or service. It’s good enough if it is noticeably better than they can get anywhere else.

For example, the baby boomers are getting old. Old people get sick. A lot of these people have a lot of money and are willing to do anything to alleviate the pain and get rid of the disease that comes with old age.

Many of these people are not invested in the right place so they are going to face serious financial difficulties. You can offer the package to rescue them from their dilemma.

Many baby boomers have money and the time to do some travelling. If you offer them a great travel package you’ll have a winner.

The big problem is actually psychological. People are “not properly valuing their expertise, so they are underpriced”.

You need to demonstrate and prove the value of your product or service with good copywriting skills. Just “take a deep breath and add another zero or two zeros” to your price. Willie says to “keep a straight face and people will pay those prices because it’s not about the prices. It’s about delivering experiences. It’s about delivering value to people’s lives.”

Have the vision to position yourself at the high end of the price-quality spectrum. “Once you learn to position yourself as THE expert who has the information those people are looking for then it’s really not that difficult to sell to those people”, says Willie.

“People who are willing to pay more money are looking for a higher end product. They are looking for expertise that the average person can’t afford. Just let them know that’s you and they’ll buy it.

While its still nice to get a single bill and a discount, it also opens up the possibility that the customer will have a lot more headaches when it comes to getting anything accomplished in the area of customer service. In short, the bundled service packages offered by these companies are probably better than nothing, but certainly fall short of Comcast’s level of service.

While it can be argued that putting all of your eggs into one basket is a bad idea, that sentiment doesn’t really apply when it comes to bundled telecommunications services. Especially when the bundle comes from a company like Comcast.

The modern Electronic flash was invented by Harold Edgerton in 1931. Its introduction into the modern photographic world changed the photography as we know it today. The theory behind flash photography is that when you take a capacitor or condenser, charge it up and then release the electrical energy through a glass bulb filled with inert gases (Flash Light Bulb), you will get a split second burst of bright light. This emission of light occurs immediately after you send a pulse of electrical energy to the flash bulb. As such, there is a mean of control of the light output by way of controlling the electrical pulse duration to be sent to the bulb. Previously, a component called the thvristor was used to control this duration of electrical pulse. Nowadays, this process is automated with the use of electronics.

Generally, there are two ways to control the quantity of light that enter the camera. The first way is adjusting the speed of the shutter which will affect how long the exposure time will be. The second way is through adjusting the aperture of the lens. This will determine how much light will enter the camera. Although you can use filter to block out additional light but here we will only talk about the fundamental ways of how to control flash exposure. Flash photography is an entirely different ball game because the flash pulse involves only micro seconds’ display of light. As such, the mechanical shutter speed does not play any part in determining the amount of light which enter the camera except when the camera is in FP mode.

The shutter speed of a camera will only be effective if the light from the environment is a continuous source. However, flash light burst is so brief that the camera shutter hardly has time to register the change in the amount of light. As such to control the amount of light of a flash unit entering the camera;

Change the physical diaphragm of the camera lens which is the lens aperture. Doing so allows you to control the amount of light that can enter the camera.

One can by adjusting the physical distance between the flash unit and the subject matter, control the amount of light going into the camera. Light follows the laws of physics, so the further the distance one is from the light source, the lesser is the amount of light available.

You can also regulate the amount of light from a flash unit to a subject by using a diffuser. Of course, you have to consider the trouble of lugging around all these items on location.

Finally, by regulating the duration of the electrical pulse to the flash unit, you can control the duration of a flash burst. Therefore you will change the final flash output by such control. In fact, this is the primary way nowadays people use to control the electronic flash.

In conclusion, this is the main principle of flash metering. The precise measure of flash metering is difficult and it requires years of experience before anyone can accurately judge the right duration for the electrical pulse to be sent to the flash unit. Nowadays, we are fortunate as camera like the Canon EOS digital camera fulfill this function automatically with modern electronics.
