English Laundry is a well-known clothing label that is a subsidiary of Global Rebels Inc. The cable TV industry practically invented the idea of bundling home telecommunications packages together for more convenience and greater savings and despite the efforts of the satellite TV industry, cable TV still remains on top for this method of delivering high quality service to its customers.

The bundling of home telecommunications services is actually a pretty straightforward concept. Basically, the subscriber signs up for two or more home telecommunications services, gets a single monthly bill that itemizes all of the services, and gets a discount as compared to what the services would cost separately. In return for the convenience and savings, the service provider gets greater customer loyalty (the subscriber does have more invested in a company that provides it two or three services than it would in a company that provides just one) and more business from that subscriber.

While satellite TV companies may try to deliver bundled service packages, the result is a pale comparison to what the cable TV industry delivers. This comes from how those services are delivered. Cable TV companies are capable of delivering digital TV service, high speed Internet access, and a digital phone line; all without the help of any other companies. Satellite TV companies on the other hand, have to enter into agreements with phone companies and satellite Internet companies in order to deliver the home phone service and high speed Internet access.

This hodge podge of companies ends up being an annoyance rather than a benefit in many different ways. All of these services are technologically inferior to cable TV. Satellite TV doesn’t do as good of a job of providing video on demand programming as digital cable TV does. In addition, digital cable TV services are implementing new technology that removes bandwidth restrictions so that they can offer more channels- including HDTV channels- than satellite TV is capable of offering. When it comes to Internet service, digital cable technology is capable of offering four times the speed of DSL or satellite Internet at roughly the same cost as DSL and half the cost of satellite Internet. When you look at the fact that satellite Internet has a high latency that makes it impractical for a number of different basic Internet applications, this technology seems even worse.

All of this is why cable companies offer superior bundled services.

The Internet provides a great number of opportunities for entertainment, connecting with friends and business associates, getting an education, tracking investments, and finding great deals while shopping. With all of these advantages, you probably want to have a high speed Internet connection in your home if you don’t have one there already. While upgrading from dial up is a good thing to do, you’re probably kind of confused by the options that you have available to you. This is understandable with all of the different technologies and the companies that are offering them that you have to choose from.

If you’re fortunate enough to have access to cable TV from a company like Comcast, then you’re also probably fortunate enough to be able to get an Internet connection that’s delivered over that same broad band digital cable technology. Granted that if you have access to cable Internet, then you also probably have access to DSL, satellite, and possibly some kind of municipal WiFi Internet as well, but there are still a lot of reasons to consider broad band cable.

The first advantage that broad band cable from a company like Comcast has over other forms of broad band Internet technology is speed. With the possible exception of muni WiFi, Comcast’s broad band cable high speed Internet has the largest bandwidths with download speeds that vary from six to twelve megabytes per second, depending on the level of service that’s been subscribed to and whether or not the special Power Boost feature (which increases the baseline download speed by fifty percent for larger downloads) has kicked in. Both satellite Internet and DSL have bandwidths that are stuck around three megabytes per second and often quite lower, depending on where you live and how much you’re willing to pay.

Getting your Internet connection over a cable also provides a greater level of security than any kind of WiFi. In fact, there are even people who look for WiFi connections so that they can see what’s being transmitted- in effect spying on what WiFi users are looking at. Since there isn’t a good way to make muni WiFi service secure, this is a very real danger. It’s also theoretically possible to spy on satellite Internet signals as well.

Naturally, since DSL is transmitted over phone lines, it has a similar level of security to Comcast’s broad band digital cable Internet connection, but there are many other ways in which an Internet connection based on digital cable technology is superior. The fact that cables are a lot beefier than phone lines means that the signal that can be sent over them is a lot faster and more reliable. After all, skinny phone lines are subject to a lot more interference than coaxial cables and that interference can really slow things down.

All of the extra speed and reliability and security that you can get from a broad band cable Internet connection such as Comcast’s translates into a level of Internet performance that you’ve probably only experienced in libraries, coffee shops, or at work up to this point.

Many methods can be used to enhance your hook baits effects and productivity. The carp ability to learn is beyond doubt, otherwise they would simply be as easy to catch as they are when virgin fish which have never been fished for. One of the easiest ways to change your bait to get an extra edge over wary fish is to use a liquid bait soak consisting of flavours, oils or amino acids.

Oil rich dips and those rich in amino acids are outstanding and can come from simple homemade sources like tinned tuna oil mixed with liver pate and garlic salt for instance. Or maybe try shrimp paste with diluted fruit cordial juice and yeast extract; you do not need to spend a fortune on readymade dips or soaks etc. Don’t boil your hook baits; steam them instead to allow far more nutritional attraction and stimulation to release into the water instead of being sealed inside and largely wasted!

Paste or dough is great used as a coating around all kinds of other hook baits. With paste you know there is no barrier from boiled protein as with conventional boilies that prevent most of your baits attraction from reaching the fish to stimulate them into feeding! Among the items around the kitchen to use are tinned salmon, tuna, herring, mackerel, anchovies and pilchards which can all be made into paste with added eggs and wheat flour to bind; it’s simple but works!

Many anglers under-exploit their readymade baits they use because they have a relatively impervious surface. You can break-up this surface with a baiting needle, or sharp pointed knife or scissors to get more attraction out of your bait. Making your hook baits irregular shapes with irregular surfaces helps by making fish think your bait has been previously chewed on by other fish and so is safer.

I bet you never tried coating all your free baits with paste as well as your hook baits. You could try fishing a red fish meal hook bait with a pink liver paste or a meat based bait with a fish based paste; just experiment with colours, flavours and any kind of baits together! Even coating particle baits like smaller pellets or tiger nuts with paste is very worth doing!

Making the leap of faith and trying coating pop-up buoyant baits with paste is a very good edge indeed and extremely well proven! The pop-up or semi-buoyant hook bait has no need to be like the paste around it and in fact the more alternative your paste is the better. Coating pop-up baits with paste is a great edge which is little-used by the majority of carp anglers and as you can see, these things just take a little lateral thinking utilising what we are already using.

Many big fish can tell which baits are hook baits by their behaviour in the water and their weight and buoyancy. Using a more buoyant hook bait can seriously fool these fish where blank sessions could well occur on mere conventional bottom baits! It might come as a surprise but you can easily make pastes from scalded pellets and other baits too.

You might liquidise your readymade baits and mix with eggs and a little wheat flour or other glue-like ingredients (caseins and caseinates are extremely effective containing high protein levels.) This way you can fish a conventional bait which has an unusual coating which is alternative but different and closely matches your hook bait; there is no doubt about it that fish learn and experiments with goldfish performing tricks using food rewards like dogs shows the 15 second memory is just a myth – carp learn! So do yourself a favour and try being different with your baits especially as it is your the bait that truly hooks your fish and the more you know about bait the more power you will have over your fish!

Cable TV got something of a bad rap when satellite TV became affordable to the average household back in the nineties and started to be available through smaller satellite dishes, but now companies like Comcast are taking advantage of new technology that promises to bring cable TV back into the position of being the leading way of getting TV service at home.

In order to fully appreciate the progress that cable TV has made over the past few years, you need to understand something about how it was delivered. It used to be that all TV was delivered using an analog signal that took up a lot of bandwidth and produced a certain unavoidable level of interference in even the best TV picture. This format limited cable TV providers to about a hundred channels at the most.

Thanks to digital TV though, Comcast an other cable TV companies have been able to up that number to nearly three hundred. Here’s how it’s done. Not only does digital TV consume less bandwidth than analog TV, but it can also be compressed to take up even less total bandwidth. This form of compression is very much like the compression that you might use to send a larger file through email, but it takes place on the fly and in real time through the cable TV system. There are currently two compression standards in wide spread use- MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. MPEG-2 is the common standard, but MPEG-4 video takes up as little as a fourth of the bandwidth of MPEG-2. In other words, if a cable TV company has enough bandwidth to deliver one hundred channels of MPEG-2 video, instituting MPEG-4 video compression could bring its total number of available channels up as high as four hundred! This makes Comcast and its peers competitive with satellite TV companies.

The cable TV industry in general, and Comcast in particular, in the process of instituting a new form of technology called Switched Digital Video (or SDV) which promises to remove all practical limitations on the number of channels that a cable TV company can provide! Switched Digital Video is revolutionary because it allows Comcast to deliver one channel to one viewer at any given time instead of the approach that has been used since TV’s inception of providing all channels to all viewers and then letting the viewers or their receiver equipment sort it all out. This obviously greatly expands the number of channels that can be provided by one of these services and is an especially good way to deal with the growing demand for HDTV channels, with their much greater bandwidth requirements.

SDV is also a good way to deliver video on demand services that Comcast has been in the process of instituting as well. Video On Demand puts the control over when a program is watched on the viewer rather than the network. Currently Comcast’s ON DEMAND service provides pay per view movies and a variety of other content through Video On Demand technology.

With it’s resistance to atmospheric interference and other advantages cable TV always was the best way to get TV, and now new technology is allowing it to live up to this potential.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This feature film tells a story about Dr. Bruce Banner, who is now, due to a military accident, has become the Incredible Hulk. The film style is sci-fi/action-thriller.

This is a remake of the original 1959 movie, which was based on the classic work by Jules Verne. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), with his wife and many other frightened people are all fleeing Philadelphia on a train. The city has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by some strange illness, and are dying at their own hands. Can mankind find an answer, or is this the end of the human race?

IRON MAN: Super stud, engineering expert, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They demand him to build missiles for the insurgent group. He was injured when his convoy was attacked, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To survive his injuries, and break away from his enemies, he designs a suit of armor, that makes him super strong. Iron Man, a new super hero has arrived.

SPEED RACER: A cartoon from the 90′s gets real actors. Just like The Flinstones, Speed Racer was a TV cartoon that was turned into a feature film with actors. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that had cost his brother his life. Against the odds, and risking it all, Speed Racer teams with his arch rival Racer X, to attempt to take the title, and keep his families racing business alive.

How do you save money on bait and actually have this catch you more big fish?! It might be a strange question but the answers are extremely powerful indeed! Most of the bait you pay for is wasted because it literally does not transfer into caught fish; so find out how to save a fortune!

Most often carp and catfish anglers use boilies, pellets and hemp, maize and sweetcorn and prepared commercial ground baits, as free baits to attract and hold fish in their swim. And these are obviously consistent baits for fish like carp and catfish. But often the hidden (or obvious) problem, is that you end up with many fish gorging upon your free ground baits and not getting hooked at all, or comparatively little, compared to the feeding activity going on in your swim. This happens far more than anyone is really accurately aware of and is a more truly shocking thing when you calculate just how much of your bait is consistently going to waste…

There is no point spending money to feed fish unless perhaps you are a fish farmer! If you keep on doing what is not working most efficiently and expecting different results, this is akin to the common definition of insanity. Carp and catfish are living dynamically reactive creatures and really do remember and associate with dangerous baits, rigs, spots in swims, tackle detected and so on.

Even hard-fished for big catfish as well as carp can become particularly unresponsive to popular baits and techniques even though they may have been so successful previously! So how do you save all this wasted money on bait used in free baiting and actually improve your catches by converting your baiting into more fish, consistently; because that is the big issue here! You see it is not just bait costs which mount up through the year, but all the associated but increasing costs of fishing; like time not earning, travelling costs, food and drink money, fishing memberships or tickets, the huge regular costs of replacing all those fishing tackle bits etc!

In economically uncertain times, making the most of your money in terms of leveraging your fishing bait costs best, is generally far more important to everyone, (except the more fortunate minority.) This is maybe less of a problem where fishing is very easy and everyone seems to catch no matter what the level of their angling ability, experience or bait quality and so on but this refers to waters where fish react far more cautiously towards to fishing baits, rigs and so on. It seems to me that judging your results success by the average catches on such a water is not accurate at all; after all, how does any individual know what is truly able to be achieved?

It is the common habit of the average angler to put out free baits upon arrival at a fishery without too much thought about his or previous anglers impacts at any one moment in time, where fish may not actually feed confidently on baits that are fresh as they are associated with danger. The first few days and nights on many waters can just be largely a waste of time if fished conventionally. On harder waters it is most often the case that fish will shy away from fresh baits, preferring to feed on them when water has penetrated and leached them for a number of days and nights.

On very pressured fisheries, Mr average angler will bait-up upon arriving and perhaps fish for 48 hours, maybe blank, and then be followed into the swim by another angler who simply does the same things with the same thinking approaches, and gets the same poor catches as a result! This is a pattern that is prevalent on so many carp waters today and the conveyor-belt like manifestation of the straight-jacketed thinking the majority of average anglers seem satisfied with. Yes, occasionally the fortunate angler who happens to be in a previously such pre-baited swim with get good results and hence the appearance of so many so-called popular swims! But all this incessant baiting on many water in certain swims can backfire as fish respond to captures, and in such a case all the bait can go off and kill the swim (as Mr average carp angler arrives and baits up again , adding to the problem!)

When your fishing activities become habitual and a kind of automatic process, this often means you have by-passed your thinking processes and are not focussing upon the constantly changing challenges that changing variables and fish behaviours and impacts of other anglers seriously have, and your results will severely reflect this! After all, you might well act differently every day in order to fool predators just to see the next day and carp have this instinct to survive which they use all the time which means what we do or think that worked yesterday is not guaranteed to work today…

For instance, it was very lucky of me to catch a carp of 38 pounds; an amazing very pale white mirror (not koi carp) from one very pressured UK water. In over 7 years it was seen but not caught, but it was the combination of new bait, rig, baiting method and frequency and other things combined that produced this fish, (that all those anglers did not do previously,) and this unique combination produced dozens more good fish following this capture.

In this case I chose and applied new attractor and feeding trigger substances in bait forms that had not been used or rarely if ever exploited at this water before along with a new baiting approach with an unusual frequency of baiting and these and associated differences have made such a difference to results personally, on a range of waters. All it takes is consideration of the particular ways the fish have become conditioned by the anglers’ baits, methods and thinking that dominates the water historically and each water differs in various key ways in this, that you might well be able to exploit in your own unique ways. You can make a big difference by being different in almost any individual or combination of ways!

Your fully considering the short and long-term impacts of the competing baits and similar rigs and methods upon fish behaviours over time is essential, for consistent success, on so many pressured waters and even easy waters! With the application of a little thought, your catches on many waters can become far better and more consistent; and the advantages of doing your own unique thing always pay-off handsomely with correct fine-tuning. But this is without spending hundreds or thousands of pounds on popular baits that fish may already behave cautiously towards; hence such bait wastage!

Your effort is never waster when it comes to making differences that can catch you more fish and save you a fortune in bait that simply does not translate into fish.
