FORGETTING SAHRAH MARSHALL: Ater suffering a devastating break up with his girlfriend Sarah, a TV sitcom actress, Peter (Jason Segal) decides to escape to the Hawaiian Islands to start anew and forget about Sarah. As fate would have it, when he arrives at his hotel, the first people he sees are his ex and her new boyfriend, who’s bigger than life. This sets up as a thoughtful romantic comedy.
HAMLET 2: Dana Marshz, formerly a small time actor, has settled into teaching theater classes at the high school to students who just don’t care. When they lose a building at the campus, the administration decides the theater curriculum must be eliminated. Wanting to fight, he is determined to save the program by producing Hamlet 2, a sequel to the original work, which he put to paper himself.
PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Complete stoner Dale has just seen a bad cop, and a powerful drug dealer, kill someone. He was spotted, and they know he has seen the killing. Knowing they’ve seen him, he is so shaken he throws down his joint, a rare blend namend pineapple express, and runs. The pot is so unique, that the bad guys can trace it. The game is on, Dale and his pot dealer friend Saul are deparately hidding from the bad guys.
STEP BROTHERS: When two child like older men, who still live with their single parents, are going to share a room because their parents have wed, you have one crazy situation. Put Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly playing the parts, and this seems to be a great recipe for a racous comedy. This seems like a sure fire bet if your looking for some laughs.
ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO: The bills are piling up and Zack and Miri, roomates and good friends, really need to find an answer to their money problems. What will they do? Oh, thats easy, go into the adult entertainment industry. As you might expect this situation makes for lots of laughs.
GET SMART: Agent 86 makes a return to the big screen, and he has us right where he wants us. The classic james bond spy spoof, the shoe phone, and all the classic quotes. This is a modern day version that looks back at the antics of Maxwell Smart.
MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As you might imagine, this is the continuation to the animated smash hit Madagascar. The four animal heroes, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo are trying to get back to New York’s famous Central Park Zoo, which is the only home they know. As oppossed to going home, due to the Penguins, they are heading off to Africa, for more adventures.
ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott) a couple of energy drink sales people, are looking at jail time after destroying the company vehicle while binging. The option to get out of serving jail time is to work in community service for 150 hours. Their task will be to mentor some kids in a community service program. Let the fun begin.
TROPIC THUNDER: With a star studded cast this outrageous flick is a claasic parody of popular war films. Things are going bad, so to get his crew to create a quality war film, the frantic, and abused, director Damien Cockburn into the wild jungle, and leaves them on thier own. The goal is to frightnen them so they will produce a work of genius, which hidden cameras will capture. Unbelievabley, as the director steps on an old land mine and dies, the crew is left on its own, and they are covinced everything is just an act, but the bullets flying are actually real. Written, directed, and acted in, by Ben Stiller.
