Now, many of us get movie rentals regularly. Often we all wait to rent the box office hits, as an alternative to going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of the most popular DVD rentals in October 2008.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana is back in action, after a 19 year break. This makes four movies in the Indiana Jones series. In this, the latest adventure, An older Indiana takes on the Russians. This time everyone is searching for ancient relics called the Crystal Skulls, which are thought to have secret powers.
THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Ex con Ben Garvey seems to have gotten his act together. With a loving family, and steady paycheck, life is going in the right direction. Then, he unexplicably loses his steady paycheck, and he finds himself heading back into the criminal world. People die during an attempted robbery, and he is sentenced to death. He expects the lethal injection to kill him. Instead, he regains consciousness only to find himself in a mental hospital. He now fights for his sanity, and his spritual well being.
LINEWATCH: Michael Dixon is a veteran boarder patrolman in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. But Michael’s past are going to threaten his future. He grew up in a brutal L.A. gang, but he had the courage to leave. When a bad twist of fate exposes his whereabouts to his old gang, he and his family are put in grave danger. He is forced risk it all, and ensure that the gang can move illegal drugs into the country.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This film is about Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), who has been transformed into the Hulk. The film is based on the comic character the Hulk. This movie stars Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, and Liv Tyler. The director is Louis Leterrier. This movie would be classified as a science fiction film.
DECEPTION: Accountant Jonathan McQuarry meets corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. This is a meeting that will change his life. John is exposed to “The List”, where people find a secret world of sexual extasy. Unfortunately, he also gets caught up in a world of corruption, treason and murder.
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his brother, professor Trevor Anderson explores caves in Iceland that sends him into the depths of our planet. This is a newer edition of the 1959 film, that was formed from the science fiction book by highly acclaimed author Jules Verne. Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers star in this adventure film.
THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberb), along with his wife and some friends are escaping Philadelphia by train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. People have been afflicted by some strange illness, and are commiting suicide. Can mankind find an answer, or is this the end of man?
IRON MAN: Super stud, engineering expert, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is captured by insurgent fighters in Afghanastan. They command him to create weapon systems for the insurgent group. He was hurt while he was being captured, and has metal in his chest. To save his life from this injury, and escape his captors, he creates a suit made of armor, that give him incredible strength and defense. We now have another super hero, Iron Man.
SPEED RACER: The 1990′s television cartoon is now a movie hit. Similar to The Flinstones, Speed Racer was a TV cartoon that was turned to a movie with an actual cast. Speed Racer is a young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a major rally car race that his older brother lost his live in. Against all odds, and the family business on the line, he partners up with his arch rival Racer X, in an effort to capture the championship, so the family business won’t go under.
