Crafting this years christmas cards with your family is an awesome idea for greeting cards. Making christmas cards together as a family will make this years christmas cards extra special. Your cards will not only be different from everyone elses, but will probably be the best too!
Christmas scrapbooking cards are rather simple to make. They also dont have to cost a whole lot either. Most things you will make your christmas scrapbooking cards with you probably have lying around your house. You of course will probably have to pick up a few basic supplies. Dont foget the glitter, as it makes for a wonderful touch to a card.
When creating your christmas scrapbook card, try to come up with a theme first. Some of the more popular themes might be something like santas workshop. You can cut up pictures of everybody doing something funny! Remember to be creative though, and it really wont matter what you do. Just have fun with the family!
Christmas scrapbooking cards also dont take a whole lot of time. You of course dont want to be hurried, as that is one of the points of making your own holiday card. Spending time with your famliy shouldnt be a chore. Making your own greeting cards is a wonderful way to spend time with your family this christmas season.
Now is a good time to start rounding up some pictures for those christmas cards. Make sure to find plenty of pictures with your famliy doing outrageous and funny things. If you dont have any, which I find hard to believe, then take some! The only thing you will have to figure out is whether or not you want color photos, or the old black and white. What it will depend on is what kind of mood you want to set with your christmas card.
Color pictures will obviously make you christmas card more lively. Black and white pictures will make them more real or serious. So it will all depend of course what type of mood you want to set with you christmas greeting card. No matter which way you decide to go, just make sure you keep it fun and have a good time making them.
And if you are worried about price, dont be, as these cards are fairly cheap to make. And if that nots good enough, then make them cheaper. Just try to keep the extras to a minimum and it shouldnt be a problem. Keeping the picture count down will also help keep the cards cheap. And if the price of the pictures is getting out of hand, then print them yourself. Not such a bad idea if you think about it.
All in all, making this years christmas cards should be a fun activity. If you do it right, it might even be cheaper then buying the cards outright. Dont forget the most important part of all of this though. Spending time with your famliy and having a good time doing it. Have a merry christmas!
