EA Sports Active: A Wii Game to Get You Shape
Wii Fit has been a huge bestseller! It has been hard to find the balance board anywhere for sale because it has sold out again and again. A new game that makes use of the balance board if coming out from Electronic Arts, called EA Sports Active.
EA Sports Active is like the game that come with the balance board, but better. It focuses on a full body workout, incorporating other types of workouts not using the balance board. This will be what folks call the “Wii Fit killer.”
The features in the EA Sports Active game are awesome. Whether you move your legs or arms, the game can track the movement. Whatcha gotta do is strap the nunchuk to your leg with the included leg strap, and the on-screen movements will mimic your own.
Now, when you move your leg, it’ll track it, just as the Wii Remote tracks when you move your hands. The cool thing is that you will get two straps included with the purchase, in order for you to be able to workout with your friends and family.
The game includes a personal trainer, who coaches you through the game. Instead of having a bulky weight, you get a resistance band in the game. This will help you to grow more muscle which burns fat.
The on-screen personal trainer will give you feedback on the way you perform each exercise. Their feedback is designed to help you to get in the best shape possible with EA Sports Active. It will also keep track of each of your workouts.
The highlight of the game is the 30 days challenge mode. They claim that with just 20 minutes each day for 30 days, you’ll see some very visual results with your body changing. Calories burned and workout intensity are tracked, through the varying daily workouts.
