The advancement in Technology has led for the competing manufacturers to present the best product in the market. It goes the same with PSP; most people thought its only for gaming but the surprising truth is; its also for watching movies and listening MP3 music. Yep, the PSP has come to answer the demanding market’s obsession with multi-tasking and today, we are discussing ways on how to download music to your PSP.

Manage and Collect Music

Hundreds of different sources or sites where music is available are just waiting for you to discover (ITunes, Rhapsody, or Amazon). Don’t worry about the compatibility of the music format to your PSP yet, just collect the music you want to transfer to your PSP and collect them in a specified folder on your PC. You can either rip the music from your CD collection or if you don’t buy physical music CD anymore, you can download mp3 music from the internet.

The music has to be in mp3 format so if you’re music files are not in this format; you will need to convert them using some converter software (e.g. Sony Image Converter) to deal with the format requirement which is MP3. The latest PSP firmware may support other types of formats such as WMA or Windows Media files.

Connect PSP Device to Your Computer

Use a USB cable to connect your PSP to your PC, and then press the home button on your PSP. You can use the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons on your PSP device to find the USB connection by pressing the X button on your PSP. Your PC will tell you that there’s a new USB device and will attempt to automatically install it depending on the windows version you are using. After installation, the USB will show up as a new drive on your pc (you will see an icon).

Transfer/Download Music from PC to PSP.

Identify the correct drive on your PC to the corresponding USB that connects to your PSP and then browse to your PSP and look for the folder PSP and open it. You will find the MUSIC folder inside and this is where the music should be transfered. (Note: If this folder is not already on your PSP, then do the following. Open the PSP file system and create a new folder there called ‘PSP’. Open the new folder you’ve just created and create another folder inside it called ‘MUSIC’).

Use your computer to download and copy all your music files onto the PSP music folder. After you’re done transferring the files, press the o button on your PSP to disconnect the PSP from the PC. It’s now safe to unplug the USB cable from your pc and from your PSP.

Play and Listen Music on PSP

Using the arrows on your PSP, find the music area and choose the music folder by pressing the x button. You will now see all the music files you downloaded to your PSP. Just choose any song and listen. If you start running out of space, then you’ll need to eliminate other files or get a Memory Stick Duo with a bigger memory.

I have made a short list of the movies released this year (2008). I have chosen a few of the films I found entertaining in this years crop. I’m sure that you can find a picture or two that are a good viewing.

ROLE MODELS: Danny and Wheeler, a couple of energy drink promoters, might be seeing some hard jail time after destroying the company vehicle while binging. The way they can avoid going to prison is to work in community service for 150 hours. They will have to mentor some kids in a big brother type situation. The stage is set for some good comedy.

TWENTY ONE: The basis for this film is the actual tale of young college kids who created a team of blackjack players that beat the casinos. These college kids planned, trained, and executed an assault on the casinos. To play in Las Vegas, where players can be banned for winning with card counting skills, they had to change casinos often, and disguise themselves, so the wouldn’t get caught. Twenty One is based on the book that tells how the M.I.T. teams took it to the casinos.

WANTED: Wesley, an office worker going nowhere in life, learns that the father he never knew, is a contract killer. When his father is killed, Wesley is basically forced into the secret society of killers that his dad was a member of. He is transformed from a nobody office worker into the killing expert that is in his blood. From there, things get very complex and twisted. Enjoy this roller coaster ride.

10,000 B.C.: This film will take you back 1,000′s of years. When mysterious warlords from another tribe attack the Yaghai’s, they capture, among others, Evolet. A young hunter named D’Leh, who is in love with her, organizes a band of hunters to chase down these warmongers, and save her, and the rest of the captured tribe members.

THE DARK KNIGHT: In this film Batman, along with Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, are taking the major criminals off the streets. This has effectively reduced crime, until a new criminal mastermind shows up, and attacks the city. Batman has his work cut out him now, as the Joker is dispensing an overwhelming assault on Gotham City.

Jumper: While almost drowning, David Rice (Hayden Christensen) learns he has an unbelievable ability. He has the ability to actually teleport himself to any place he wants to go, at any time. Eventually, he discovers that he is not alone in having this capability. After years of “jumping” around the planet, he is exposed to hunters that think jumpers are a threat, and need to be eliminated. He must fight for his life, as these paladins try to track him down.

GET SMART: Maxwell Smart (agent 86) is here again, and everything is under “CONTROL”. The classic James Bond spy spoof, the shoe phone, and the cone of silence. It is fun to have another glimpse back at the 1960′s spy spoof series.

BOLT: Bolt: This film is an animated comedy. Bolt, is a dog who is an actor, who in his role on television, is a super hero dog. His problem is that he honestly believes he is this super hero dog with superpowers. When, by chance, he is finds himself in a real world situation, he discovers that he is just a dog. Needing to find his way home, he is aided by a cat named Mittens, and an overweight hampster named Rhino.

STEP BROTHERS: When two child like older men, who both live at home with one parent, find themselves having to share a room because their mom and dad get married, you have one crazy situation. Having the combination of Reilly and Ferrell as the key players, and the table is set for a very fun film. This film is a sure fire bet for a good laugh in 2008.

Most people buy or rent films when the come out on DVD, and views them on their home entertainment system. A new way people are aquiring movies is by downloading them directly off websites. There are websites that will download tons of different movies.

A Halloween Craft Project For Decor That Suspends

No house is a haunted house without creepy critters hanging above our heads. Hanging Halloween decor is especially great for offices, too, since they are easy to make and clean up afterwards.

Black Bats

To make bats as Halloween craft project, you’ll need a Styrofoam sheet, fishing line, white/yellow paper, black paint, paintbrush, marker, glue, scissors, and masking/scotch tape.

Begin by drawing a bat shape on the Styrofoam sheet using a marker. You can search online for free bat templates and print them out. Cut out the outline and fill in the cutout bat shape with black paint using a paintbrush. Let dry. Cut out white/yellow paper into bat’s eyes and glue them to the bat-shaped Styrofoam. You can also use Googly eyes. Now that you’ve completed your bat, attach the fishing line on the bat’s head with tape and suspend on ceilings, doorways and windows.

Crawly Spiders

For this next hanging Halloween craft project, you’ll need a string, egg carton, black tempera paint, pipe cleaners, Googly eyes, scissors, needle paintbrush and tape.

You can start making spiders by painting the whole egg carton with black tempera. Then, simply cut out a cell and let it sit with the hollow side facing downwards. Insert pipe cleaners through the bottom part to make the spider’s legs. Glue on the Googly eyes. Punch tiny holes on the top part of the cell with a needle and slide thread through them to suspend in the hair and hang on ceilings and furnishings.

The Halloween Craft Project For Decor That Sticks

Your Halloween craft project should also include easy decor that sticks. An example would be placing fake cobwebs in your home. You can use stretchable cobweb material or thread. You can find stretchable cobwebs in any specialty shop. These are cotton-like material that can be stretched and attached to almost any fixture/furnishing.

Sprinkling a pack of glitter on your thread cobwebs will add a realistic look to your Halloween craft project. Sprinkle over your fake cobwebs to give them that dewy appearance. Cobwebs are fairly easy to make. Just try to be creative to make your cobwebs stand out more.

The Halloween Craft Project For Decor That Sits

A Halloween craft project that simply sits is extremely versatile. You can use a wide range of materials and items that you can easily find in your home or office. Create a dining table for the dead! Carve up pumpkins and place tea candles in them. Make these Jack-O-Lanterns as centerpieces on your dining table. Compliment the pumpkins with dead leaves, twigs and dried flowers. If you are brave, you may complete the look by adding rubber rats.

If you plan on making black bats this year, you can always hang spiders next year. Or, you can change your dining table settings from the pumpkin theme to a witch’s cauldron theme. Keep imagining for your next Halloween craft project!

Whether you are a novice or an experienced artist, there is always something that can be learnt from the masters. Art itself is a very diverse subject and a matter of personal taste. So many different things can be classified as art.

As an example take art from the Orient. The Japanese and Chinese use brushes both for their lettering and painting. Often you find their work is just in black or white. Brushes from the east are usually made of hair and they go to a definite point, ideal for the fine work they go on to produce.

These brushes go on to encapsulate interesting fine works, fragile silk paintings and yes, of course, calligraphy. Obviously this takes me back to the fantastic paintings of Zen. He often used an ink over a wash. These seem to be painted with a delicacy.

The long fine brushes they use seem to create lovely flowing works of art which appear so true to form and give out the freedom of movement. Naturally this works well on silk. The trees and waters are expressed well like this.

Expressionism as we know it is not necessarily a true representational art form. Really I would go as far as to say, it is how you express your inner feelings on a given subject emotionally.

Let us use the famous painter Van Gogh as an example. To the normal person much of his work appears to be totally distorted. The weird shapes and forms created turned into natural genius!

How often we all admire the works of Monet and his wonderful landscapes amongst other pictures. Interestingly enough they appear as a series of dots and dashes which then form the picture. This is called Impressionism.

Probably this art style dates back to the 19th Century. The light plays an important part of the completed picture and this style works well with landscapes.

If we go back to the 17th Century however and the Dutch Masters, around this time, I think Still Life was born. This style was very easy to understand as normal objects were portrayed. I cannot help think how far ahead some of these artists were in their ideas.

Although we might comprehend the subjects chosen, normal objects are not always easily achieved, such as bowls of fruit, tables and chairs as examples, as firstly you need an interesting background. What a rich talent these artists possessed.

Now to the regular night-time scenes found in gay Paris created by the likes of Toulouse-Lautrec. How he loved all this and brought the subjects all to life for us and into our homes as posters etc. showing the bawdy lifestyle of the local artists and burlesque in the dance halls.

Even Monet did some amazing humorous sketches often of his friends yet still created such fantastic luminous colourful scenes. They were always so lovely and bright.

However, there are so many well known artists. Take Renoir, Paul Klee, J.W. Turner. Pablo Picasso, these are just a few and there are many more up and coming artists we are yet to hear about.

One of my favourites happens to be Salvador Dali. His work appeared to know no bounds. He surely is one of the greatest painters ever known. Barcelona is fortunate to have so many examples for the general public to savour.
