This is a short list of the more popular movies put up on the big screen in 2008. This list consists of the movies that I think you might like. I’m sure that you can find some films here that you will enjoy.

Jumper: During a near death experience, David Rice (Hayden Christensen) learns an amazing thing. He has the ability to teleport himself anywhere, anytime. Eventually, he discovers that he is not alone in having this capability. Unfortunately, after a few years of fun, he finds out that there are those that are trying to rid the world of jumpers. He now must battle for his life, as these paladins try to track him down.

BOLT: Bolt: This film is an animated comedy. Bolt, is a dog who is an actor, who in his role on television, has super hero dog powers. His problem is that he really thinks he has superpowers. When he is accidentally finds himself in a real world situation, he realizes that he is just a dog. On a journey to get back home, he is aided by Mittens, the cat, and Rhino, the hamster.

THE CHRONICALS OF NARNIA, PRINCE CASPIAN: It is one year later, in “real” time, when Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are teleported back to Narnia. Prince Caspian has blownn Susan’s magic horn, praying that he will be saved. 100′s of years have passed since they left Narnia, but they have been called back to rescue Narnia from an evil fate. With the support of the brave warriors of Narnia, they will fight for the future of Narnia.

WANTED: A young, bored, office worker named Wesley discovers that the father he never knew, is an assassin. His father has been murdered, now Wesley is asked to join into the organization that his dead father was involved with. He now will become the assassin that is in his blood. After that, everything becomes extremely complicated. Enjoy this roller coaster ride.

THE DARK KNIGHT: Batman and law enforcement officials are taking the major criminals off the streets. This has effectively reduced crime, until a new criminal mastermind shows up, and attacks the city. Batman has his work cut out him now, as criminal mastermind, the Joker, has released an overwhelming assault on Gotham City.

TWENTY ONE: The basis for this film is the actual tale of M.I.T. wiz kids who created a winning formula to beat blackjack. This team of blackjack players learned to beat the game, and then performed a brilliant run at the blackjack tables. To be successful in Las Vegas, where players can be banned for winning with card counting skills, they had to change casinos often, and disguise themselves, so the wouldn’t get caught. This movie is based on the best selling book that tells how the M.I.T. teams made millions playing blackjack.

10,000 B.C.: This film takes us back to prehistoric times. When mysterious warlords from another tribe invade the Yaghai tribe, they capture, among others, Evolet. D’Leh, a young hunter who is in love with her, organizes a band of hunters to chase down these warmongers, and save her, and the rest of the captured tribe members.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: It was a wild night in Las Vegas. Barely remembering what had happened, Jack and Joy get up the next day and find out that they are married. When they win a $3 million jackpot, the question is who should get the money, so they try to settle it in court. It is decided that the two must stay married for a few months, and try to make their marriage work. With an eye on the jackpot, they each try to get the other to give up, as both desire to have the cash for themselves.

WALL-E: This film is a science fiction adventure in animation. Mankind has left Earth, since it had become a pile of rubbish. Wall-E, a trash collecting robot, is assigned to clean up the planet. Years later, when a robot named Eve shows up searching to see if the planet can sustain any life, Wall-E finally has some company. Eventually, when Eve is recovered by the craft that sent her, Wall-E somehow get on the ship, and starts an incredible adventure.

Most people buy or rent these movies, and view them on their home entertainment system. A new way people are acquiring movies is by downloading them directly from online sources. There are websites that will download virtually any movie ever made.

Not paying a penny and getting to not only play, but own every wii game is every gamer’s dream. Well thankfully the internet has put that dream within grasp.

Unlimited lifetime download memberships are now offered by wii download sites for a very minimal fee. They pretty much all charge around $50, well worth its price when you compare it to your last wii game purchase.

Good posture is important when playing guitar for long periods of time, this will reduce back and muscle strain. Another important tip, is holding your guitar in the correct way. The back of the guitar should rest against your stomach and if you play right handed the neck of the guitar should be aiming towards the left. Gently rest the body of the guitar against your upper right thigh. Hold the guitar neck with your left hand and drape your right arm over the body of the guitar so that your hands can easily reach the strings. Your position should feel both comfortable and natural while you are playing guitar.

If you’re a right handed person you will use the left hand for constructing chords. The fingers of the left hand are bent and you will be pressing down on the strings on the fret board.

The guitar neck’s back is curved, so that your hand will naturally conform with the shape of its neck. Your thumb should arch over the top of the neck when you hold it properly. From there, your thumb is in position for constructing chords.When you are constructing chords it is ok to press your thumb into the back of the guitar neck, albeit this is more in common with playing guitar scales. You should try both thumb positions and then you will be able to use the one that is most comfortable for you.

You use your right hand to “strum” or play the strings in order to create the various chord sounds. Let your right arm rest on top of the guitar. Your right bicep should be relaxed and over top of the guitars body. Your hand should be located directly above the sound hole of the guitar. This is the place the sound is made while you are playing guitar.

Many people chose to play guitar with a pick. In order to use a pick it should be held between the forefinger and thumb of your dominant hand. Then the pick is pulled across the strings in order to “strum”. It is similar to plucking, but more pressure is necessary then you would use with just your fingers.

If you’re left handed, you’ll be happy to know that guitars are available for left-handed players. If you can’t find a suitable one for playing guitar left-handed, simply buy a regular guitar and have re-stringing done to reverse the order of the strings.

While playing guitar, maintaining proper body position as well as holding the guitar correctly while playing will enable you to play for longer durations as well as to to produce right sound. Don’t be tempted to slump into what you think is a cool-looking position, you’ll end up feeling tired too soon and look ridiculous as well.

The 100 thousand Dollar Bike may be a joy for the eye to behold, but that Old dirty Bike tells a different story to the Soul of every True Biker out there! If you do not hear a Story, Well you are either not listening or you just do not get it! If you do not get it then just sit there and be quiet because when you speak negatively and put down the Character or Brand of that old Motorcycle, Well it shows everyone around you just how much that you do not get it!

There is a difference between a Motorcycle Enthusiast and a Biker, but only the Biker knows the difference !!!

Before we get down to the business of determining the dyslexia diagnosis, it is important to know the nature of the condition first. Dyslexia is actually a learning disability wherein the afflicted patient would have difficulty when it comes to spelling, writing, and reading. A popular misconception here is that dyslexia is a mental illness, but this is not the case at all. There are actually a lot of dyslexics that are quite intelligent and have forged extremely successful careers. Albert Einstein is one of the smartest dyslexics the world has ever known. In tinsel town, another famous dyslexic is actually Tom Cruise.

Years ago, coming up with an appropriate dyslexia diagnosis was not really possible. This is because people back then were not really aware about this disability. In fact, it was only just recently that more information about the condition has been obtained. This is quite an unfortunate fact because a lot of dyslexics back then had to suffer unnecessarily. Even in this electronic age of computer games, families still like to sit down together to play traditional games. Hasbro board games have a long history and the franchise stands for entertainment for all ages. The company is the largest manufacturer of board games in the world and also has a successful toy making division.

Monopoly is probably its most famous item and is the world’s most popular board game. The first major success for the company however was Mr. Potato Head, followed by GI Joe. When Hasbro took over the Milton Bradley Company in 1984, more board games for Hasbro were added, including Candy Land, The Game of Life and Chutes and Ladders. They also acquired that party favorite, Twister. Today, Hasbro is the parent company of a number of subsidiaries, including well-known brands, such as Playskool, Parker Brothers and Tonka.

In 2008, Hasbro made another acquisition. This time, it was Cranium Inc., which resulted in new board games for Hasbro. The Cranium game is another favorite at parties and is based on the old Ludo game. It is designed for children aged 12 and above and involves drawing, spelling and general knowledge. There are also different versions of the game including Cranium Cadoo, which is for younger children and employs tic-tac-toe. The Cranium Turbo Edition is a faster version of the game and Cranium Kabookii is a video game for the Wii format.

There is something for everyone from the Hasbro board game product range. One of the most popular is Risk. This is quite a skilful game and appeals to those players who are interested in military strategy. Scrabble is the classic word game, loved by each new generation. There is a junior edition for younger players and a travel edition, useful for playing on long car journeys or on the airplane.

Another classic game, Cluedo, is part of the Hasbro board game franchise. Fans of murder mysteries and crime stories love this game. There are several different versions that have rules, differing from the original. Cluedo games with themes include The Simpsons TV show, Dungeons & Dragons, The Haunted Mansion, Scooby – Doo, Where Are You?, and The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror.

Introduced in 1982, Trivial Pursuit combines moving round a board and a general knowledge quiz. It is immensely popular and many a dinner party ends with guests pitting their wits against each other. The classic edition has categories of questions on History, Geography, Entertainment, Sports and Leisure, Arts and Literature, and Science and Nature. There are special editions too that include versions for a particular year, junior versions, biographies, pop culture, the magic of Disney, and Lord of the Rings.

Supplemental card sets are available of several different topics, including sports, TV shows, cinema, the 1960s and country music. There are also DVD versions of this Hasbro board game, including Saturday Night Live and Star Wars.

I have always been a fan of escapist literature. I love high space opera science fiction, fantasy, detective novels, crime drama ” all of it. My favorite of all, however, is harlequin romance. I have been reading Harlequin romances since I was a 13 year old hiding them under my bed, and they have never grown old. These romances combine just the right mix of heroes, plot, suspense, and character development to really make an impression on a reader.

I used to really love Harlequin historical romance more than anything else. The point of reading a Harlequin romance, after all, is to escape from the world of everyday into a fantasy world that is somehow better, more dramatic, and more promising than what we all live with. Harlequin historical romances accomplish this admirably. You can find them in basically any period of history you fancy. From the medieval era all the way up to modern times, they really haven’t neglected much. Western romances are very popular, but so are tales of pirates and damsels in distress on the high seas.

Of course, Harlequin presents romance books in a variety of other settings as well. I have a friend who really doesn’t like historical romances. for her, the historical aspect of it simply obscures the plot rather than heighten the drama. She want something set in her own time, and I don’t blame her. For some people, the best escape is something that promises that things will get more exciting for you personally. A historical romance doesn’t really do this, but a contemporary Harlequin American romance will.

If you have never read a Harlequin romance before, you should probably choose it based on your instincts more than anything else. They are quick reading, and you shouldn’t really spend a lot of time comparing. All of them deal with pretty much the same issues, so pick one with a cover that appeals to you. Usually, you can’t judge a book by its cover, but with romance novels you really can.

They are carefully marketed for a certain niche audience, and that audience immediately knows who they are. If you see yourself in the book, it is no accident. One of the great things about reading pulp fiction is that it really does speak to you. It isn’t about the author at all, but about his audience. It is good to see the author speaking to you directly when you are stretched out on the beach, relaxing with a good romantic novel.
