True Lies: Being married and an international super spy don’t go hand in hand. With his wife becoming bored with him she is close to having an affair, to a man pretending to be a spy. He sets out to sin his wife back, and winds up getting into a very tough situation.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse OF The Black Pearl: Elizabeth, the daughter of the Jamaican Governor, has been kidnapped by the crew of the Black Pearl. She is needed to lift a curse of the old ship. Elizabeth’s friend Will, who is completely in love with her, gets pirate captain Jack Sparrow to help him rescue her.

Collateral: Vincent is a contract killer with a job to do. He has arrived in L.A. and will kill five people tonight. He hires a cab driver to take him around for the entire night. With the LAPD, and the FBI chasing the done, things are getting out of control.

Space Cowboys: After missing out on being the first Americans in space in 1958, now senior citizens Frank Covin and his pilot buddies are getting a second chance. When Soviet communications satellite has problems, Frank, who designed it, is the only one capable of fixing it. So, now 42 years later, Frank and his friends will get their trip to outer space, becoming the first senior citizens to make such a voyage.

At this moment, more people actually do opt to visit wax museums out of sheer curiosity, wonder and probably, shock, amusement and bewilderment. Welcome to the Hollywood Wax Museum.

Centered right smack on Hollywood Boulevard lies the wax museum in its stately, old-world, glory. The admission is well over ten dollars, but you be the judge as to whether it is worth your money or not. The portion where it lacks a souvenir shop is a bit sad, however.

As the Hollywood Wax Museum is aptly named, most of the subjects concerned and immortalized are that of those with famous (and almost famous) Hollywood stars in their most famous shows and in their famous roles. Most of the wax figures are those of nineteenth century actors, featuring nineteenth century films I doubt your son or daughter knows. Try asking your son about MASH and he might look at you like some Neanderthal.

Then again, perhaps that would be a good time to immerse your brood in the old culture of Hollywood, when Stallone was still ‘da bomb’ or when Sharon Stone was the talk of the town (admit it, she’s not the ‘it’ thing for almost a decade now). There’s a lot of things to be learned from this simple tour (not necessarily things you have to know, but just things that you should know because it’s just…there).
