In recent years a wide variety of imported fruit in Guangdong by the consumers, in 2007 and 2008 the annual increase in imports at more than 20%. Earlier this year, imports of fruit sales continue to Guangdong. According to Guangzhou Customs statistics, in January-February this year, Guangdong imported 112,000 tons of fruit, a significant increase of 37%, the value of 140 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 11.7%.

Fruit imports mainly from Thailand, the United States and the Philippines. Fruit imports from Thailand 57,000 tons, an increase of 62.7 percent, accounting for the same period in Guangdong half of total fruit imports; followed by the United States and the Philippines, since the two countries separately imported 17,000 tons and 15,000 tons, increased 28.4 percent and 1.1-fold.

Longan, bananas, durian, grapes, mangosteen, etc. are the main varieties of imports. Among them, the longan, Durian all from Thailand, the bananas from the Philippines, the main grape mainly from the United States and South America, mangosteen is produced in Thailand and Indonesia.

Imports in general decline in fruit prices, the overall level of the same period last year dropped 5.6 percent. Perhaps you’ve heard there’s a way to tell people what to do in your copy without setting off any red flags in their mind.

Have you noticed that many marketing pieces these days contain the words, “by now”? While that’s a pretty obvious attempt at doing it, it’s sometimes effective done that way.

You’re probably wondering what “it” is.

They’re called embedded commands. In a nutshell, you can go place a command inside your normal conversational message so that it doesn’t stand out to the person as such.

Spoken out loud, “by now” sounds like “buy now.” My understanding is there’s currently only one book on copywriting that talks about embedded commands. “By now” is the example given.

Hopefully it doesn’t come as any big surprise that for embedded commands to be effective, they actually have to be embedded. Starting a paragraph with “by now” isn’t very embedded. There’s a chance it could work for your market. The only way to tell is to try it.

In print, you’ll want to be more careful about it. If you take smaller steps you’ll get a better response out of it. Sure, tell them to buy. But tell them things before you get to that point too.

You probably noticed that I used a couple of examples to get your imagination going. They’re in bold font so you can go back and look how I did it.

Nashville is really an amazing city to attend a concert at. The love for music in this area is astounding. It really has not changed too much over the years and still remains to be a great destination for almost all of the music stars.
