When applied to almost anything, the effect is to massively increase the rebounding qualities of the object, seemingly defying gravity.
Steven King’s: Sleepwalkers: Charles Brady, and his mother Mary are not normal people. They are Sleepwalkers, a kind of vampire like creature that feeds on young women. The Sleepwalkers can mutate at will.

While transporting him into custody, the convoy is attacked, and Owen is freed. Now they must recapture him soon, Ethan’s wife to be has been captured, and time is running out.
