Lock Up: Frank Leone’s prison sentence is almost up. He is suddenly transferred to a high security lock up with Warden Drumgoole in charge. This is bad news for Leone. This warden has it in for Leone, and getting through his last 6 months will be hell.

Ocean’s Eleven: Fresh out of jail, Danny Ocean is ready for action. He plans to rob the casinos in Las Vegas. He puts together a brilliant team that will total eleven. Will this daring attempt work, and make the team all millionaires? Time will tell.

Assassins: Robert Rath is the top hit man in the world. Robert soon discovers that another hit man, Miguel Bain, wants him dead, so he can be the top dog. To complicate things, both men get an assignment to kill the same woman, Electra, an information expert who has key information stored on a computer disc. Together Rath and Electra decide to escape this dirty underworld existence together, but must first must deal with Bain.

Piglet, as one of Winnie The Pooh’s friends was always portrayed as a little scared, or feeling inadequate because of his small size. In the original “Winnie The Pooh,” from 1926, written by A.A. Milne, some of Piglet’s moments that would characterize his behavior come, in Chapter Three of the book, where Piglet says, “WHAT?”, with a jump, to show that he hadn’t been frightened, he jumped up and down once or twice more in an exercising sort of way. In Chapter Seven, “It is hard to be brave,” said Piglet, sniffling slightly, “when you’re only a very small animal.” In Chapter Nine, Piglet says, “It’s a little anxious,” he said to himself, “to be a very small animal entirely surrounded by water.” Piglet’s catchphrase was, “Oh, dear! Oh, d-d-d-dear-dear!

“Piglet’s Big Movie” was released in 2003 as an animated feature length production based on the characters in the Winnie-The-Pooh books and opened as #7 on it’s opening weekend and a total box office for the movie run of over 23 million dollars. It was preceded by “The Tigger Movie” in 2000 and followed by “Winnie The Pooh: Springtime with Roo,” released in 2004. In his film, Piglet is ashamed of being small, but he eventually learns that it’s not so bad. Winnie and all of the pals learn that you don’t have to be big to do big things.

During three flashback sequences the first adaptations of the original Winnie The Pooh stories, but edited to make Piglet the hero of the stories and conform the rest of the characters personalities as Disney portrayed them but it still manages to retain much of the original plot, but makes that statement that you don’t have to be big to do big things. The movie is story of friendship, fun and appreciation filled with adventure, laughter and heart-felt moments.

As the Pooh gang sets out to harvest honey from the hives in the forest, Piglet is told he is too small to come along. Since Piglet feels like he is often left out, he decides to strike out on his own and sets out into the Hundred Acre Wood. When the honey hunters return, they can’t find Piglet anywhere, just his scrapbooks of their adventures of the past. As they look through the books, Winnie and his pals realize how much Piglet means to them and how much they’ve taken him for granted. They set out to find Piglet using his scrapbook for clues, to “think, think, think” for clues as to where he might have gone.

Disney’s Playhouse prominently features “Piglet’s Big Movie” regularly. Timid little Piglet proves his point: size doesn’t matter when it comes to accomplishing big things. It is a lesson that not only children can learn from, but it’s a good one for adults, even if it is from a Winnie The Pooh character.

LJ James Book Review :Iron Horse Rider

When I received the Novel “Iron Horse Rider” from the Author Adelle “Legs” Laudan I have to admit I was expecting a book about a Biker fighting and causing trouble. You know your Typical Biker Bad Boy Story. What I received was something I was not expecting at all.

The Novel Tells the story of a hardcore biker named Shane, Shane had always kept women at arms length and showed them no emotion, That was until he met Kelly. Try as he might this biker who had always kept to himself could not fight off his feelings for her and soon found himself Married to the Women of his dreams.

After 10 years of Marriage Kelly is taken from Shane in a Tragic accident while they are Ridding. Shane finds everything around him reminds him of Kelly, His home, his shop, even his Clubhouse. His Brother’s try to Support and comfort him, but the looks of sorrow in their eyes for him is more then Shane can bare. He soon realizes staying in the world He has Known and loved is not an option. Soon Shane is on his Iron Horse with the wind in his face and no destination! As Shane rides He finds the pain he feels for his loss begin to lessen!

With advice from a Mysterious Biker he keeps running into, Shane finds himself at a Micmac Indian Camp. Shane is welcomed into the Camp by the Tribes Chief and soon finds himself becoming Friends with the Chief’s Daughter Tia who has recently lost her Husband! While the two Share their pain they soon begin to feel something for each other. Is it possible for either of them to feel love again while still suffering from such a great loss? A member of Tia’s Tribe is taking no chances and tells Shane to stay away from Tia. He soon finds out you never tell a Biker like Shane what to do!

I found the writing in this novel while in no way simplistic was easy to read. I also found the story easy to follow ! Adelle “Legs” Laudan describes and expresses the feelings of Biker Brotherhood perfectly. When She explains Shane’s feelings while Riding you can see in your mind where he is and you can almost feel the wind in your Face!

In life we all have our worlds we live in, When something Terrible happens sometimes We cling to what We know. Shane does what He as a true Biker must after such a terrible loss, He goes out and finds not only a new life but a new World to live in for a while.

I have to say I enjoyed the story. It was not what I was expecting or would usually read but I found I could not put the book down. I think some Men who Ride will enjoy this book, While many I feel will find it a little too much of a Romance novel! I do believe almost all Women who has ever ridden a Motorcycle or dated a Man who rode one will love this Novel.

Is Bide A Wee in Wantagh NY Cursed? (I can not say for certain this is all true. Many will argue Animals do not have Souls!)

I worked at Bide-A-Wee as a part of the grounds keeping staff for almost five years, from 1990 to 1994. I have many fond memories of my time there! It was my first real job.For years after I moved on I regularly returned to visit the Friends I had made while working there.

A few years ago I returned to find Tim Bourne the man who was my Boss and good friend the years I worked at Bide-A-Wee was no longer there! Tim Bourne was a Manager at Bide-A-Wee in Wantagh for over 20 years! When I heard Tim was no longer there. Myself and many others knew it was the end of Bide-A -Wee in Wantagh as Tim was the Bide-A-Wee of Wantagh!

Soon after Tim’s departure from Wantagh BideAWee the Animal Hospital closed! Now the Bide-A-Wee Adoption Center is closing its Doors. Some may say it is just a coincidence and Tim could not have done anything to stop the problems that happened!

I say Tim not being there is the reason these problems occurred! Tim had an incredible knack for bringing all three departments of Bide A Wee together. Whether it was for a Softball game at the School across the street after work or a BideAWee Staff night out, He made us all more then just co workers He made us all a family! He was the Heart and Soul of Bide-A-Wee in Wantagh. A body can not function with out its heart and without its Soul, why would it want to?

Ever since Bide-A-Wee of Wantagh let Tim go it has been as if the place has been cursed, I believe it is! There are Hundreds of Animals buried at the BideAWee of Wantagh and Tim took care of them for over 20 years.

Tim ran the Cemetery at Bide A Wee in Wantagh Honorably and many loved him. Losing a pet is very difficult for anyone, But some how Tim made it easier for people to get threw this tuff time! When the Scandal of pets not being buried at the Pet Cemetery in Middle Island NY happened in the early 90′s there was almost no one who was worried that something similar may have happened at BideAWee of Wantagh, Because everyone knew Tim would never allow something like that to happen there!

I believe the Souls of all the Animals at Bide-A-Wee of Wantagh can no longer rest and the place is now suffering from a curse! These Animals buried at BideAWee of Wantagh long for the man who made sure they were buried properly and helped ease the pain of their owners when they past!

Bide-A-Wee needs to do what ever it can to get Tim Back! They need to beg, plead and bargain! I believe once Bide-A-Wee of Wantagh has Tim back the Souls of the Animals buried there will once again be able to rest and the Curse will be lifted. Then Watch how quickly things turn around, I just Hope Bide-A-Wee does what it must before the curse spreads to the rest of the BideAWee Locations!
