Nobody knows anything that hasn’t been taught to them or they hadn’t learned throughout the years. Most things people know today are because of previous knowledge that has been acquired throughout the years.
People use the knowledge of others to help their knowledge increase. This is exactly what I mean when I say the piano is as easy or as hard as you make it. For something to be easy you need to find ways to make it easy. Here’s what I mean.
You can fool around on the piano for 10 years and still sound like you are playing a fisher price piano. Or you can get lessons and can be playing basic songs within a matter of days or weeks. The choice is up to you. You can learn things on your own without lessons but it will take significantly longer to learn things alone. Taking lessons accelerates the learning process by using previous knowledge learned to help you. It is amazing what other people’s knowledge will do for you.
It’s not cheating, it’s working smarter not harder. It really depends on what you want. If you want to learn everything that you can about the piano and become the best piano player you can be, you are going to need piano lessons. Piano lessons are not always the easiest things to learn. Sometimes piano teachers can just be difficult or boring. Sometimes piano lessons are like playing Russian roulette. You don’t know what you’re going to get. It should be that way.
I found that piano courses that you find online are a great option. In really depends on which one you get. Just like it depends on which piano teacher you get. I believe that these are a great option especially for new piano players, because they have a lot of flexibility.

Don’t make things harder then they have to be. You don’t have to learn on your own. Get the help that you need so you can become the best you can be. Take online piano lessons.
