River and Spires Festival Inc
There will be a River & Spires Festival, Inc on April 16 to April 18, 2009. This street festival will be held at the Downtown District, Clarksville, TN 37041. For the past 7 years there has always been a River & Spires Festival. The festival will is an outdoor, non juried craft show event.
The festival will have different activities available for enjoyment. The promoters have set up about 5 stages for the live band performers. They will feature a wide variety of sounds. There will even be a stage for Christian music.
The River & Spires Festival, Inc will open on April 17 from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M then on the next day they will open from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on April 16 from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. It is free admission and parking type of festival.
Parking area will be along the downtown area for the visitors and for the vendors it will be located one block away. RV parking is not allowed. Through out the street festival there will be 20 portable outdoor restrooms units for the public use.
Vendors will not be provided with electricity by the promoters. There will be water provided but limited. The promoter will not be providing tables and chairs for vendors. Vendors will need to provide for their own table and chairs.
For this year the promoters are looking for 50 arts and craft vendors, 20 retail vendors and 25 food vendors. A $150 for 10×10 spaces that includes a tent is the space fee for craft, arts and retail vendors. The food vendor will be charged a percentage of their sales for the space fee. Retail vendors are welcome to apply their location will be away from the crafts and arts vendors. All types of crafts and arts vendors are invited to join the festival.
