Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor
Not everyone knows who the Eleventh Doctor is, well let me introduce him to all of you. He will be starring in the most famous TV series around the world and that is the Doctor Who show.
There are already 10 actors who played the Doctor and to distinguish them from one another they are numbered from First to Tenth. Now that the Eleventh Doctor is here fans will surely be waiting on him. Even other countries are already tuning in to UK’s popular TV series Doctor Who.
In fact, an American version of the shows comic strips were already created by Marvel. Also, several Doctor Who DVDs and VHS were also shipped to Asian countries such as Japan.
The show’s fan already knows who the Eleventh Doctor is and that is Matt Smith. Smith is 26 years old and the youngest actor to play the lead role.
The viewers and fans of the show are at a lost right now because of David Tennant (Tenth Doctor) leaving the show. A lot of forums and blogs are stating that they are going to miss him and they are all sad. But every movie or any show has to change, right? Besides, these twists make a show more interesting.
Changes happen because they need to and most often this makes a show more interesting. Now, Matt Smith is given the chance to prove himself that the age thing has nothing to do with his ability to play the lead role.
Now that Season 4 is already finished, fans need to wait until the Spring of 2010 for Season 5. There are a lot of expectations for the show’s next season and fans will still be able to see David Tennant for the last time.
So, this is not still goodbye for David T.s fans but it will definitely be a welcome for the Eleventh Doctor. There is much to expect since the writers promised that they will give the audience a spectacular ending for David T.
