The Little Shop of Horrors: Classic black comedy in reference to youthful schnook who creates bloodthirsty plant and is made to kill in request to fuel it with human blood. Sausage meat is now part of carp and cat fishing history having proven its worth as a very effective cheap bait ingredient for small and big fish (many thousands of times, and for decades.) It is far cheaper than using the popular Pepperoni and similar luncheon meat type products for example. But how do you make extremely effective but very cheap baits and ground baits using it; see a few very proven big fish suggestions right now!…

Obviously sausage meat is great being so cheap and readily available without rapidly depleting marine resources as much as many other bait ingredients so such meat baits and ground baits are more ethical too! Sausage meat is best bought fresh or fresh frozen and is extremely economical like this. Sausage meat baits are not part of modern bait fashions at the moment and can really give you a great edge over many wary big fish!

Making baits from congealed or minced sausage meats is really simple, fast and easy. It contains many nutrients that stimulate big catfish and carp with many oils and amino acids etc. Although many sausage meat products contain rusk and cereal is great bulking and binding agent, you can use extremely cheap wheat flour for example, plus eggs to bind it into a dough, to use as bait, or to make paste baits or produce boiled baits.

So how do you further produce one of the cheapest home made protein baits fast and easily?

For example, using half a pound of minced sausage meat, mix it in a bowl with about 3 to 4 large hens eggs and around 2 table spoons of ordinary cheap wheat flour (or more if required) and kneed this into a stiff pliable dough. This can be used as fishing bait immediately as paste, or you can bag it up in bags with a tie to make the bag air tight and store in the fridge or freeze it for use next session. This bait is pretty much instant on most carp and catfish waters even though various meat brands and grades may very results and although very basic and simple will produce lots of fish.

Pre-baiting with a new bait is definitely a good edge putting things far more in your favour. (This is not totally necessary with this bait though.) I got a friend to do this for me in a swim (not such a clever move,) and I never got in the swim as incidental catches by other anglers meant it was too popular as a result of the baiting; so bait less obvious swims! Even just introducing a few pounds of bait in golf ball sized pieces the day before fishing can make a big difference!

When you pre-bait fish will obviously get a smell and taste of it without getting hooked so be more confident when you do try it on the hook, so do it! You can use sausage meat baits as part of your ground baiting or with other meat baits like chopped spam, meatballs, luncheon meats if you want the extra expense; sausage meat and cheap rolled oats is fine! Scald or boil or steam your baits if needed where smaller fish prove a bother, but add some paste to your bait on your rig or on the hook to boost more soluble attraction…

You might make your boilies from small half inch odd shaped pieces and these odd baits will have a competitive edge over all those expensive uniformly shaped machine-rolled baits! Just get a half pan of water boiling and add a handful of baits at a time usually for about 2 minutes on average before removing them. Use handy towels or papers (or special drying trays from Gardener tackle) to dry your baits and remember to keep your water boiling at all times.

The proteins in the eggs in the boilies coagulate more with more boiling to make your baits harder, but you might add other substances to harden or toughen your baits; such as blood powder which also adds valuable stimulatory nutritional attraction. The choice of other additives, ingredients, flavours etc is vast, but choosing these is very much a science and art! Anything you add is better based on a little investigation of what truly triggers fish feeding and what has not already hammered your water, rather than a quick trip to the local bait shop first as this can end up costly and even counter-productive to your financial goals!

You might just add a teaspoon of black pepper powder per egg used. Other examples of well proven kitchen favourites are yeast extract products like Marmite or Vegemite; add at a heaped tablespoon per egg, or even Parmesan or blue cheese powder which is ideal in sausage meat baits. You can simply add some Minamino or proprietary fishing liquid amino acids supplement like Nutramino to boost feeding stimulation and nutritional profile of your bait; or add fish meal, keratin, or poultry meal, or ground bird foods and lecithins for more digestible baits in winter, for example…

The fact is that there are thousands of additives, liquids, flavours and some very refined and advanced bait ingredients and extracts you could use. Many ingredients are often used to most exploit the food detection systems of fish which have internal and external specialised cells which enable fish to instinctively home in on your bait. You might use a proprietary flavour like Secret Agent, Megaspice, Mulberry Florentine or Maple steep liquor, vodka, spice oleoresins, or add MSG to enhance taste, or simply add salted liquidised liver or liver pate, (just a desert spoonful per egg of 2 these will keep big results coming your way!)

The options are limited only by your imagination; but using proven fish feeding triggering substances and metabolically stimulating substances are among the best proven substances when you look at bait components… Homemade sausage meat baits (and ground baits) for big carp and catfish are well proven against any popular modern baits (even enzyme-active ones,) and I’ve proven this myself (although my baits are sometimes rather more complex than here.) So give them a try and you might decide to get much deeper into making your own homemade baits; but beware – they can become addictive!

Come and join in the fun, as we celebrate the second annual Feast of the Hunter’s Moon. Held from the 10th to the 11th of October 2009, at the Historic Fort Quiatenon Park near West Lafayette, Indiana.

Before we go on, I believe that a quick tour down history will be helpful. The Feast of the Hunter’s Moon commemorates an annual gathering of the French and Native Americans that took place in Fort Quiatenon, which was originally a fur-trading post back in the 1700s. We hold the event in autumn, which is consistent with the original gathering, and you find us on the banks of the Wabash River. If you are new, that is located four miles southwest of West Lafayette, Indiana.

Once you reach the place, you’ll see thousands of participants reenacting the event. Let your senses free to experience the smells, sounds and tastes of the wood smoke, the rifle shots, and the good food that is authentic to that time.

Watch as the French trappers and the Native Americans make their way down the Wabash River in hand-made and hand-painted canoes and boats. The actors would then land in Fort Quiatenon as cannons fire a resounding blast from the fort. Watch as hundreds of actors in colonial dress then go down to them, meeting with the visitors on the shore. After dragging the canoe onto the narrow beach landing, they are then welcomed by the crowds cheering for them.

Over the course of the event, the Native Americans dress in the way their forefathers did; they will then seek to perform the traditional dances to celebrate the Feast of the Hunter’s Moon. The festival is theirs to begin with, and watching the celebration as a spectator is the best way to get a feel for the event. See the amazing performances and be a part of history and of the festivities!

Being new to World of Warcraft can be quite a hassle on your character’s pockets. If you’re like me, you would by now be starting to look for means to make money, I went on the internet to look for tips and tricks on how to make fast gold on WoW.

What I found was even better, one of the first Secret Warcraft podcasts. Included was Jonathan Kenins weekly review of the good gold makes in the game.

From Secret Warcraft I learned some new terms Limited Supply items and cross-faction trading. I learned that I dont have to spend hours and hours of my time, doing boring things just to make money and get some of the good items that I want on World of Warcraft like the Travelers Tundra Mammoth for example.

By using limited supply items, and cross-faction trading, making gold on WoW has never been so easy!

All you have to do is, first get a list of the Limited Supply items on WoW. You can get an excellent complete list at SecretWarcraft.com, it’s organized by zone and location, as well as profit potential per item, so you can get going as fast as possible with limited supply trading.

Having that list in hand, you can proceed to monitor your server’s auction house. Double check which limited supply items are selling for a lot, and which ones are not good enough to make a profit on, that way you won’t end up wasting money on items that you won’t be able to sell for a decent profit.

Then when you know which items will earn you the most gold, its shopping time!

With your empty bags, visit some vendors who sell limited supply items, the best ones are Alliance exclusive items like Pattern: Raptor Hide Belt, Pattern: Black Whelp Tunic, or Pattern: Black Whelp Cloak.

Or the Horde exclusive items like Recipe: Crispy Bat Wing, Pattern: Raptor Hide Harness, Formula: Enchant Chest – Lesser Mana.

You can make a good gold profit on these items if you do cross-faction trading, which basically means selling Horde exclusive items on the Alliance auction house, and the Alliance exclusive items on the Horde auction house.

Airheads: 3 metalheads with toy guns reluctantly take a music station prisoner, wishing to get play for their one and only demo tape. Not precisely the most difficult subject to satirize, although the script is weakanyway. A somewhat vigorous direction and compact running time help a tad. (91 minutes, 1994)

Red: Very last film in Kieslowski’s “3 Colors” trilogy which, like Blue and White, might stand alone with its self contained tale. Fashion model Jacob meets upset, retired magistrate Trintignant accidentally, then creates a relationship with him and enters his cloistered, secret life. Set in Geneva, this is a story of few entangled lives. Cast includes Irene Jacob, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Frederique Feder, Jean-Pierre Lorit, Juliette Binoche, Julie Delpy, and Benoit Regent. Singles: Life in the Seattle dating scene ain’t simple. The DarkMoon Faire comes around in World of Warcraft again and again… every month like clockwork. And with the Faire comes a lot of gold-making opportunities.

Even with all the changes in World of Warcraft since Wrath of the Lich King expansion came out, there’s still a lot of fast gold to be made by hanging around, camping the vendors, and buying up stocks of limited supply items at the Darkmoon Faire.

I have tried out a lot of different WoW gold guides, the best one so far is the Massive Gold Blueprint by Jonathan Kenins. In a series of step-by-step videos, he talks about how Wrath of the Lich King has changed the farming strategy of the DarkMoon Faire, and how to adjust to make the most gold out of it.

In short, it is still possible to make a lot of gold at the Faire. Not as good as it used to be, but definitely still profitable.

The Exotic Goods vendor Lhara and Professor Thaddeus are one of your best bets at making gold through the DarkMoon Faire, camp out at their booth at the back of the faire and wait for their stocks to replenish.

Keep an eye on the herbs such as Black Lotus, Adder’s Tongue, Dreamfoil, Netherbloom, Terocone, Wild Steelbloom, Ghost Mushroom, Deadnettle, Frost Lotus and Goldclover. Also the lower-level herbs such as Khadgar’s Whisker, Mageroyal, and Earthroot are worth buying at the DarkMoon Faire and re-selling on the auction house.

Turn some profit with elementals such as Crystallized Earth, Crystallized Fire, Crystallized Life, and Crystallized Air. They are not very good gold-makers but they’re still pretty decent when it comes to making gold. You can also gives Motes a try, they’re older and less desirable but they can still turn a good profit on a lot of servers, focus on selling Motes of Fire and Motes of Air.

There are fewer possibilities with leather. Some of the leather items are useful and can make you some gold, such as Knothide Leather, and Rugged Leather, depending on the prices on your server. But the real star of the leather group at Darkmoon Faire is Arctic Fur. It doesn’t pop up very often (sold by Lhara), but you should grab it fast whenever you see it, as it will sell in the auction house for 25 gold or more.

There are items to avoid because you might end up losing gold than gaining some. Avoid all of the gems, including Dawnstone, Nightseve, Star of Elune, Talasite, Living Ruby and Noble Topaz. These gems go for 12g each at the Faire, but they won’t sell for anything near that amount of gold in the auction houses. Avoid scrolls at all cost, scrolls are not worth it anymore ever since Inscription came out.

Flik, the little boy who runs around the Faire is also worth catching. You can buy Tree Frogs from him, and limited supply Wood Frogs. It’s advisable to stockpile on these items especially the Wood Frogs, because you can sell it through the month after DarkMoon Faire and make a good amount of gold profit.

Although the economy has changed due to Wrath of the Lich King and gold from the DarkMoon Faire has decreased from 600g to 1000g a day, to around 500g or so. It’s still a good amount of gold to earn, and it’s not that much of a hassle to do. So spending time at the DarkMoon Faire is still a good way to earn a decent amount of gold.

The Canon EOS 40D digital SLR camera uses much of the new technology first seen in the EOS-1D Mark III camera. It has cross-type sensor at the center AF point that is sensitive to both vertical and horizontal lines, when fast lenses (f/2.8 or faster) are used. This adds to the accuracy and precision of wide-aperture lenses.

With its ability to shoot up to 6.5 frames per second, it is considered to be the fastest digital SLR cameras. You can capture even up to 75 JPEGs or 17 RAW images in one burst. Its startup time takes only 0.15 second and its shutter lag time only takes 59 milliseconds. Also, it features high-speed mirror drive and predictive AF focusing. This camera is ideal for everything from wildlife to sports.
