Powerful Carp Bait Secrets That Saves You Money And Catches Fish!

by Tim Richardson

How do you save money on bait and actually have this catch you more big fish?! It might be a strange question but the answers are extremely powerful indeed! Most of the bait you pay for is wasted because it literally does not transfer into caught fish; so find out how to save a fortune!

Most often carp and catfish anglers use boilies, pellets and hemp, maize and sweetcorn and prepared commercial ground baits, as free baits to attract and hold fish in their swim. And these are obviously consistent baits for fish like carp and catfish. But often the hidden (or obvious) problem, is that you end up with many fish gorging upon your free ground baits and not getting hooked at all, or comparatively little, compared to the feeding activity going on in your swim. This happens far more than anyone is really accurately aware of and is a more truly shocking thing when you calculate just how much of your bait is consistently going to waste…

If you are consistently feeding your swim each time you fish and this does not consistently equate to better catches, then you are simply feeding the fish, going through the motions and expecting miracles to occur as doing the same thing repeatedly and keeping expecting results to be different is simply a definition of insanity!

Even hard-fished for big catfish as well as carp can become particularly unresponsive to popular baits and techniques even though they may have been so successful previously! So how do you save all this wasted money on bait used in free baiting and actually improve your catches by converting your baiting into more fish, consistently; because that is the big issue here! You see it is not just bait costs which mount up through the year, but all the associated but increasing costs of fishing; like time not earning, travelling costs, food and drink money, fishing memberships or tickets, the huge regular costs of replacing all those fishing tackle bits etc!

So converting your bait money at the very least into better catches, is perhaps even more of an issue, especially in tough times. Of course every fishery is different and these days there are many waters that are over-stocked to the degree that it appears everyone catches fish successfully. But who is to know just how much better your individual catches can really be until you truly get innovative and prove it to yourself?

It is a very common phenomenon for the more wary fish to simply not feed upon fresh baits introduced by anglers upon first arriving at a fishery at all. This in effect means that the first 3 or more days and nights fishing can be mostly a waste of time. The fish just hang back while the baits become leached of flavours etc, and the fish become more confident on feeding on such baits because they have associated leached bait with safe feeding.

On very pressured fisheries, Mr average angler will bait-up upon arriving and perhaps fish for 48 hours, maybe blank, and then be followed into the swim by another angler who simply does the same things with the same thinking approaches, and gets the same poor catches as a result! This is a pattern that is prevalent on so many carp waters today and the conveyor-belt like manifestation of the straight-jacketed thinking the majority of average anglers seem satisfied with. Yes, occasionally the fortunate angler who happens to be in a previously such pre-baited swim with get good results and hence the appearance of so many so-called popular swims! But all this incessant baiting on many water in certain swims can backfire as fish respond to captures, and in such a case all the bait can go off and kill the swim (as Mr average carp angler arrives and baits up again , adding to the problem!)

Our angling behaviours can become simply habitual processes, where the thought of what has worked in the past must still work today dominates. But I tend to find each day is a different day and fish behaviour is dynamic constantly changing and adapting and what worked so well yesterday is the very thing the fish are so keenly wary of today!

For instance, it was very lucky of me to catch a carp of 38 pounds; an amazing very pale white mirror (not koi carp) from one very pressured UK water. In over 7 years it was seen but not caught, but it was the combination of new bait, rig, baiting method and frequency and other things combined that produced this fish, (that all those anglers did not do previously,) and this unique combination produced dozens more good fish following this capture.

Using new attractant substances and feeding triggers combinations in a new baiting design, teamed with innovative bait application methods which rarely if ever have been exploited on your water before, will obviously give you great results compared to just going through the motions again and again! With a little thought you can always find something in your approach that is new and different on any water, that reaps you far greater catch results than otherwise would be achieved. This can mean literally anything!

If you take the time to analyse the short-term and long-term impacts of what other anglers are doing on your water and link that to the negative (or positive) impacts on fish behaviours over any time period, you may begin to see how to exploit both fish and angler behaviour creatively. This thought is unique to your fishing situation at any point in time so will most likely produced the most accurately tuned possible actions, processes, thoughts and actions to solve the particular fishing challenges present. By analysing your fishing challenges and fishing situation in regards impacts of your fishing (and of other anglers) upon fish really can means you can save a fortune in wasted bait; as what you do use is leveraged with far greater results in catches in relation to money spent on bait achieving these!

To leverage the true power of your baits does take a little extra effort on your part but that effort is never wasted! But I hope this article makes you think a little more of further possibilities the next time you bait-up, as usual… This bait secrets ebooks author has many more fishing secrets insights and bait edges available and just one could impact very significantly on your big fish catches!

Digital Cameras Are One Of My Absolutely Favorite Gadgets

by Chris Campbell

For some time now I’ve been looking for the best small digital camera. I wanted a point and shoot, to carry around when I don’t have the Nikon D80 with me. I wanted something small, with image stabilization, optical zoom, plus very good shutter speed.

A little known fact among consumers is that Canon cameras will always be better than Kodaks. As a former sales person in the camera business, I can tell you that Kodak cameras have a bigger rate of returns than Canon models do, and they also feel a bit cheap when you look at them closely.

My first choice for best Canon digital camera, is the Canon Powershot A720 IS. If all your interested in is a simple point and shoot camera that’s easy to use by anyone, then congratulations, you’ve found it. Taking outdoor pictures in good lighting, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better camera at any price. If you don’t mind fiddling a bit with the A720′s white balance and metering mode, you can also compensate for picture taking in less than ideal lighting situations. For around $200, you get image stabilization, 8 megapixels, 6x zoom, and a real optical view finder. The view finder is missing on many cameras in this class, but not the A720. Which is fortunate, as it really helps framing your shots better than a LCD, and can considerably save on batteries when you turn the LCD off. If your going to use the full 6x zoom, I would recommending a decent tripod. As with many cameras in this category, there is a delay in between taking pictures when using the flash. Usually around five seconds. Inconvenient to be sure, but hard to get away with out spending a bit more money.

The prices of the cameras I mentioned so far. Canon Powershot G9: $500, with an optical zoom of 6x and 12.1 megapixels. Canon Powershot SD870IS, that has 8 megapixels, a 3.8x optical zoom, at a price of $624. Canon Powershot SD950IS, priced at $400, with a 12.1 megapixel resolution and 3.7 optical zoom. Canon Powershot SD 850 IS, at $300, with 4x zoom and 8 megapixels

So you’ve had it with slow compact point and shoot cameras with average picture quality, and are looking to move into the realm of SLR photography. Cool, because my third pick for best canon digital camera, is the Canon EOS 40D. Currently going for about $1200 just for the camera body, so be sure to save room in the budget for lenses (probably $1500 with a basic lens).

The storage of the Olympus SP-570UZ can be done on xD cards, which you need to buy separately. The camera also ships with editing software, which is called Olympus Master 2. I especially like the 20x optical dual image zoom. The 10 megapixel resolution makes sure that you can print photos at a 18 x 24 inch size.

Some of the technologies that come with the camera are dual image stabilization, face detection, perfect shot preview and shadow adjustment technology.

Putting Together A Dissertation ” Key Points

by Kenneth Elliott

Putting together a dissertation is a proof of maturity and knowledge. Finding the right topic is an essential aspect and while there are many people to whom the topic just comes naturally, most students have to think long and hard before making a final decision. The topic lies at the core of the dissertation, allowing one to build the thesis from just one subject area. One cannot write a dissertation thesis if the chosen subject is not interesting enough, so make sure you select a topic that actually draws your attention.

You may have chosen an interesting topic, but it can be of no use if you do know how to present the gathered ideas in a logical manner. When writing your dissertation, you want to concentrate on the subject so that the reader clearly understands your message. Organize your ideas and demonstrate that you can be both concise and coherent. Do not stray from the topic, plan the structure of your dissertation with your adviser and research the subject thoroughly. Bring arguments to the chosen topic, develop an outline of the main ideas and always try to put yourself in the readers place. Would you be interested in reading this dissertation? The answer to this question will help a lot when it comes to making the necessary improvements.

Another key point to consider is related to the actual length of the dissertation. It is a known fact that both the introduction and the conclusion should not occupy more than a third of the thesis. You have complete freedom when it comes to deciding how long each section should be but there are of course certain general guidelines you have to follow. The length of each paragraph is even more important to consider if there is a word limit set for the dissertation. You will also have to think about the deadline, making sure that you do not fall behind on your work and that the dissertation is completed on time.

Writing a dissertation thesis takes a lot of time and working without a plan will only lead to problems. Organize a plan and stick to it no matter what. You can take short breaks but it is for the best that you keep working on each section of the thesis until you manage to finish it. Free yourself from distractions and select a place to work that is quiet, without interruptions or continuous noise. What happens if you simply run out of ideas? Revise what you have written so far, do some more research and get some air. The ideas will come running to you in no time.

Dissertation thesis should contain the following points:

* A cover page where you can find the title of the thesis, brief description and name of the student * Table of contents that includes the principal sections * Abstract (summary or synopsis) * Main body (presented chapter by chapter) * References and conclusion * Glossary of terms.

K-ON! Anime Takes On Japan

by Ria Tsumugi

Each new season in Japan brings along a host of fresh anime series for fans all over the world. There is one particular series that has caught the eye of many fans. It is the tale of four girls who meet in high school through an activity club that allows them to play pop music in a band.

The name of this anime series is K-ON!, which is actually the shortform for the same Japanese phrase that describes the club activity, which is to play light pop music. The series itself originated from a manga that was serialized in a weekly magazine in Japan. Strangely though, the manga did not achieve the same popularity in comparison.

The lead character of K-ON! is Yui Hirasawa, a high school girl just like any other in Japan. Yui likes to spend her time doing nothing and is often portrayed as a silly day dreamer. However, the same girl is also quite capable and smart when she dedicates her time and effort to anything.

The anime series does not have a special storyline to it on the surface. Yui meets three new friends through the light music club in the form of Ritsu, Mio and Mugi. However, this scenario provides many special moments whereby the girls become true friends and form their own band performing their own music compositions.

The sometimes quirky and light hearted mood of the series have enchanted fans of all ages. There are fans of all four main characters, but it is Mio who has garnered the most attention. Due to her good looks and tough on the outside but soft on the inside nature, it is perhaps understandable why Mio has risen to the top of the popularity charts.

K-ON! has also done quite well with international audiences even as it has just reached the halfway point. There is a growing demand for cute Japanese culture from overseas fans and that is best represented by the anime industry. The series itself provides numerous moments of classic cuteness that are bound to please fans.

The series has also been lauded by many critics for the performances of its voice actresses. Taking on the roles of the four girls, the voice actresses have to go beyond just simple dubbing and conversation. Due to the nature of the plot, they are also required to sing, which they do so very well.

With all anime that gains in popularity, there is more to expect in the near future from K-ON! and a developing franchise. There is already news of toys to be designed and produced before the end of the year. Whether it can continue to grow like other classic series like Haruhi remains to be seen, but what is certain is the overwhelming response since its debut.

Have More Photography Fun With An Amazing Digital Camera

by Chris Campbell

Once you buy yourself a great digital camera you must do some research and learn how to use it best. In most cases you buy a camera and after some time you return to the store or you visit the specialized websites and you see a bigger and better device. That’s a nasty feeling but you don’t have to feel bad about it. Many people change their existing cameras with new ones all the time but the decision on how far are you willing to go is entirely up to you.

Choosing a digital camera doesn’t have to be that hard, even for the most extreme technical Luddites in the crowd. Here’s a few simple tips to use as a guide to digital camera buying.

Itty bitty memory cards are used to store your pictures on instead of film with your digital camera. While most cameras come with a some card, it’s usually barely enough to hold a few pictures. The camera companies really cheap out here. Some memory cards are expensive because they have faster read/write times. Only buy the faster cards, if you plan to use them in a camera that takes pictures in rapid fire mode. Like an SLR that takes 20 pictures in 30 seconds.

Megapixels refers to the amount of resolution (detail) that a picture can hold. Generally, the higher the better, but only to a point. For the average photographer, anything over 6 or 7 megapixels is overkill, and not worth spending the money on. Check out sensor size, if your really into camera specs, and want to check out something meaningful.

Image stabilization is a cool thing, and becoming more popular these days. It helps to keep your pictures from being blurry, when you’ve got a case of the shakes. Especially when your shooting pictures at lower film speeds (ISO settings).

Only one modification was done with the JPEG files, a level tweak in Adobe Photoshop CS3. Basically, the end result is the type of image you can expect with a camera, without modifying its settings. Another thing we did was conversion of some RAW files to TIFF format.

After buying a camera it’s recommended that you spend some time reading the manual and learning as much as possible about exposure, ISO sensitivity, and balance settings.

To sum up all the above, you must buy the best camera you can afford and use it wisely. If you worry all the time about what’s new and how much money does it cost you’ll end up forgetting the most important thing about all this, which is the actual photo.

Digital cameras come in all shapes and sizes, so make sure you get one that feels comfortable for you. The best way to do that is to try one out. Visit a camera or electronics store, and try a few out. It’s the only way. One final word. Don’t cheap out on price. I’ve learned that lesson the hard way. Cheap electronics just don’t last. Look for a good brand name and don’t be afraid of spending a couple more bucks on quality. Your photos will thank you for it later.

The Magic of Live Music Concerts

by Ian Sawyer

When considering the power of Live music, it’s easy to be quite literal. For instance, I remember attending a Tool concert at a small arena in Massachusetts around the time they released the popular Lateralus. My girlfriend, at the time, and myself took our positions on the general admission floor somewhat early and were present for a bit of the bass tech’s sound check. Each strum of Justin Chancellor’s significantly tuned-down bass guitar actually seemed to lift us off the floor and make our hair stand on end. I found it quite exhilarating.

My girlfriend was reduced to a nauseous mess even before the concert began. She claimed it was the Fast-Food we ate before the show that drove her, vomiting, to the women’s room as Tool took the stage. Days later, when talking to a friend who knows a thing or two about the science of sound, I confirmed what I had suspected: it turns out that incredibly powerful low-end frequencies can effect the physical constitution of a concertgoer. Tool had claimed the stomach of my girlfriend.

The strength of Live music can be powerful in a philosophical sense, as well. I’ve attended plenty of concerts where the next morning I felt a hollow sadness, and a longing to relive the previous night’s glory. The hours before, during, and after a great concert can transport a music fan to a whole other world, regardless of any booze, drugs, or other chemical enhancements.

There is an intimacy is established with not just other concertgoers, but with the band itself. Why else would generations of Grateful Dead fans dedicate much of their lives to following a group of hippies around the country? Live performances are moving, both physically and emotionally.

In the course of live music history, a lot of things have changed since those early days of, say, Woodstock. Venues of every size, shape, and character have included speakeasy-like basements, local clubs, sports arenas, outdoor pavilions, and even massive stadiums. Through it all, the concentrated community that is established during each live show has maintained a unique electric bond. Sure, peaceful sway dancing has been replaced with the visceral, and sometimes violent, crush of sweating bodies.

It is also interesting to note that cell phones have replaced lighters as a fan’s beacon of light. And general admission ‘mosh’ pits have replaced seated floor plans. Still, fans remain bound together under one raftered roof, held together by the occasional audience-sweeping spotlight, and the glorious chorus that everyone knows by heart.

The audience makes each song their own as they sing along and pump their fists to the music. This, in the end, is the true power of live music-that it brings together masses of people who wouldn’t otherwise give each other a second look or moment of acknowledgement. Whether in the brooding darkness of the club, or in the brilliant afternoon sunshine of a football stadium, when our favorite band is onstage, we all rock together as one.

The Perfect Job Resume Objective

by Joshua Workman

Pointblank it should be made known that you have to present a perfect resume as a perfect representation of you and your abilities relevant for the benefit of the company. A well-written job resume objective is one way of expressing yourself and your capability as a worker.

Of the essence, a job resume objective should create an image of a valuable employee essentially pertaining to you. This means that it should evolve on your capabilities as a worker outlining your ability to work in a team combined with all other skills identifying your functionality as a worker. This is necessary because being an employee means the greater possibility of working with a team.

Focusing on a single idea is of high importance when writing a job resume objective. You have to concentrate on this thought so you will have a whole single idea revolving around the entirety of the job resume.

Never make a general idea when writing a job objective for your resume. Employers often assume that ” Jack of all trades is a master of none.” This would then lead to greater chances of denial for that long-coveted job interview.

Don’t forget that the key to effective resume objectives is not to emphasize on your wants but instead on your skills relevant to the job. You have to keep in mind that a job resume objective can also be the reason for your disqualification if done on the wrong approach.

The reason why you have to follow this precaution is because it is written in the upper portion of the resume. This means that if you create a non-relevant and messy resume objective, yor own resume might end up being kept on file or worse in the trash can.

After reading some negative approaches that you might encounter when writing your job resume objective, you might even ask why do you still need to include writing it in your own?

For this reason, many believe that writing this portion basically depends on the decision of the job applicant. However, if done in the appropriate manner, this part of your resume would be effective enough in creating a positive impression in the eyes and mind of the employer.

You have to remember that your resume is your passport to landing the interview and on to getting hired later on. For this reason you have to come up with the most important facts that can enhance your job resume objectives in your task to add magic to the entire resume.

Lawyer Marketing 101: 4 Simple Ideas to Improve Your Law Firm’s Website Copy

by Chris Thompson

Writing copy for a law firm’s website is a challenging task. The material is heavy and difficult to convey concisely and cleanly. The copy on a legal website needs to get across the most important aspects of the legal issues and hold the reader’s attention at the same time. This is not an easy thing to do.

You need to recognize that writing copy for the internet is different than writing for other forms of media.

Effective advertising for lawyers requires that you improve your skills with regards to writing for the web.

I am going to discuss how to write better web copy. Even though writing good web copy for search engine optimization purposes is important, I want to tackle this issue from the standpoint of usability and reader engagement.

The following are a few ideas to think about when you are writing web copy:

1. Numbered Lists – People on the internet like numbered lists. They are easy to scan and extract data from. Be sure to include lists when writing for the internet.

2. Write as if you are engaged in conversation – People don’t want to read obvious marketing pitches, or legal speak. They want to interact with another human being. Write with your own, professional voice.

3. Don’t write in legal speak – Not only is legalese difficult to understand for most people, it is less effective on the web. The last thing you want is for someone to bounce off of your site because they can’t understand you. With fleeting attention and your competition only a click away, make sure you are communicating in a language the common man understands and identifies with.

4. Use pictures and videos in your writing – Pictures capture a users attention. They can make the page interesting and complement your writing.

If you utilize some of the points above you will see a better engagement with your website or blog, helping your lawyer marketing efforts.

Mustard Festival

by Ian Kleine

Come the time when mustard is ripe for the picking, the season for the Napa Valley Mustard Festival begins. The period usually extends from January to mid-March. It offers, food, art, wine and culture during its 3 month long celebration.

The festival was made to attract visitors to local businesses during these first three months when the mustard fields are lush with green and yellow. With this reason to celebrate, the tourists also are able to discover and explore the subtlety and the elegance of Napa Valley. This event also unites the mustard growers in the area, to be able to come up with the most wonderful of festival events and reasons for revelry.

The festival had started off with no funds at all, George Rothwell had the challenge of making an event for the community so that it could ‘liven up the winter months and explore the spectacular scenery’. But thanks to the Summers-McCann Public Relations, a company responsible for the marketing food and wine with the arts, he was able to get enough funds to start his plan.

The Mustard season has been unprecedented and underused up until Mr. Rothwell had seen the feasibility of using it to promote tthe Valley. Before the festival was established, there had already been a growing crowd that had planned to visit Napa Valley during the months of January, February and March. Now that it has been established, the visitors had a reason to go to Napa Valley at these supposedly sleepy months, the hotels now have no need to cut off employees during the winter months and market revenues are up by a whole lot of shares.

Napa Valley is more known for its wines, but you can never have too much of a good mustard as well. Try and visit Napa Valley for the annual Mustard Festival to experience good food, good wine, and good service.
