Leveling A Shaman – Here’s What You Need To Know
Interested in leveling a Shaman? The Shaman is a lot of fun to play despite the fact that many people seem to think they are one of the weakest classes in PVP that continuously gets “nerfed”.
If you’re serious about making a Shaman, you’ll want to know what to expect starting out, that’s why I have created some pointers here that will help guide you through levels 1-10:
When you get started leveling a Shaman, youre going to have access to a ranged attack called Lightning Bolt and a healing spell called Healing Wave. When you begin combat, spam your ranged attack until you kill the mob and heal when necessary.
Upon reaching level 4, you will gain access to Earth Shock and Rockbiter Weapon. Make sure that Rockbiter Weapon is always on and enchanting your weapon to give you some additional damage. Also, upon opening with Lightning Bolt, be sure to throw in a few Earth Shocks.
When you get to level 6, make sure you collect the Earthbind Totem and Stoneskin Totem spells. The Stoneskin Totem will bring your defense up so you can endure more and the Earthbind Totem will stop your enemies from getting away from you.
Now when you are battling it out with your enemies, you’re only going to be able to have 1 totem up at a time. Most of the time it’s in your best interests to use the Stoneskin Totem.
However, if you find you’re fighting with monsters that always want to run away from you, it’s better you cast the Earthbind Totem to prevent that from happening.
Upon hitting level 9 or level 10 you’ll be close to finished all of your quests and on your way to the capital city where you can upgrade all your gear.
