We’ve all the seen the incredibly long yet accurate drives of Tiger Woods. The ball flies through the air and lands in the middle of the fairway, 300 yards away.

It is difficult not to let jealousy rise in us as we wonder if we could ever dare to hope to drive like that. Luckily, long drives are not the crux of the game of golf.

So, we get to the ‘short game’ because without decent short game skills, all those great long drives are not worth a candle.

The “short game” is made up of those shots that get you onto the green from no more than about a hundred feet out, whether it’s from the fairway, a bunker, the rough or a drop zone. It includes chips, sand shots and pitches.

It is in this middle stage of the game of golf that you get to use the higher numbered clubs, your pitching iron and sand wedge or lob wedge.

You will find practice areas on most golf courses. You really must spend some time working on hitting the ball onto the green from various distances. Try to hit a ten-foot circle in the centre of the green at first. Experiment using your wedges, but remember that what works well for one person, might not work so well for you and your particular swing.

After you have got into the habit of being able to perform this skill consistently, it’s time to start practising in a sand bunker. Being able to get the ball out of a bunker can cut your score dramatically.

The way to get out of a bunker is to place your feet firmly in the sand with your left foot turned to point towards the hole. Draw an imaginary 4-inch circle around the ball and try to hit the outer edge of that circle with a short, sharp chip.

Kick up lots of sand with the ball and swing completely through as normal. Don’t slow down the swing at all when or after you hit the ball. It should jump up onto the green and stop almost dead. This doesn’t work very well though unless the sand is soft and dry. On hard, compacted surfaces, you might need to avoid actually hitting the sand all together.

As in all aspects of golf, only practice will help you to improve.

Comics have a certain charm with them, especially if it tells a good story. Good stories can be adapted to many media. Good stories also draw us into the characters and their situations. We can relate to them.

We can learn from the ways characters fail or succeed in dealing with their circumstances. With the recent release of the classic Watchmen, people can see that comic books can be of great quality and not just some cheap attempt to short tell a good book.

I imagine just about everyone, at some point in their life, has read at least one comic book. In fact, even if you haven’t read one, you probably have watched a movie about superheroes. Many leaped to film successfully, such as Batman, Spider-Man and the X-Men, and attracted audiences that don’t read comics.

Each movie has created its own fan base, sometimes separate from the comic book itself. However, those that were really drawn to the movie and can’t wait for the sequel go into the hobby of collecting actual comic books

Comic book reading however can take out a lot of your time and money. They are released weekly and an average reader can read anywhere from 5 to 30 comic books. This does take out a lot from your allowance and time.

I have experienced this situation before when I was still a student. Back then comic scans where non-existent and I had to buy each comic book that I liked every week otherwise I feel like I’m falling behind. Even with comic scans, though you might save money, it will still intrude in your busy life especially if all you like is to know what’s happening

Not only will this software let you copy Wii games, but you can also make copies of XBOX 360, PS3 and all types of games. This way you don’t have to buy a new program if you have more than just the one game system.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is forthcoming Hollywood film directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. It is a sci-fi film with lot of activity and adventure. The film is a continuation of Transformer 2007, and is scheduled to release in UK and USA this summer in the month of June.

Transformers 2007 was a great picture that made many new records of the box office. It was the record breaker of 2007 and was regarded as Mega film of the year. The movie earned a lot more than the speculations and remained on the top rank in UK and USA top 10-chart movie list for a long time.

Before looking into anything about the movie, the first names, which appear on posters, are of Director, Producer, and Stars of the movie. In case of Transformers 2, there is no doubt on the capabilities of Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg. Let’s have a brief look on the cast of the movie and see who is playing who.

Shia LaBeouf is the leading character of the movie. He is performing the character of Sam Witwicky, a teenager going to the high school. He killed Megatron, the leader of Decepticons in part 1. The first movie ended with the demise of Megatron, and Sam decides to lead a normal life. After the incident, he was overprotected by his parents, and also by his Autobot ally Bumblebee. He opts East Coast College and sets out learning astronomy. In the meantime, he starts having mental flares of Cybertronian signs and thus gets the knowledge about Energon. Decepticons for which they get after Sam need the information about Energon.

Megan Fox is the leading role of the film along with Shia. Mikaela Banes play this role. She is Sam’s beloved. She is not able to keep up her college because she cannot afford to pay, so she took up a job at a workshop as a motorcycle mechanic.

Captain William Lennox is a US Army Ranger and friend of Autobots in the film. Josh Duhamel plays this part. Another Army staff officer is Tyrese Gibson who is acting the role of Robert Epps. He is promoted to the place of master Sergeant due to his first-class services.

John Turturro performs the part of Reggie Simmons. In the first part, he played the character of an agent of Sector 7 unit. His duties were to watch Transformers’ activity on earth. In Transformers 2, his mother is running a restaurant and he is helping his mother there. Matthew Marsden performs the role of Graham, an appendage of UK Special forces. Ramon Rodriguez performs the part of Sam’s Roommate. He escorts Sam and Mikaela to Egypt. Ron and Judy Witwicky are the parents of Sam. Kevin Dunn and Jule White play these characters respectively.

There are a number of other roles in the film but in embodied as robots and mechanical beings. Peter Cullen, Hugo Weaving, Mark Ryan, Charlie Adler, Frank Welker, and Tom Kenny are few of the voices given to these mechanical beings.
