Your Xbox 360 is a fantastic machine when it works as it should. This only makes the ring of death malfunction even more painful. Being reliable is not one of the Xbox’s strengths.

The usual mode of failure of the Xbox 360 is a general hardware failure otherwise known as the red ring of death. This is the state where the green lights surrounding the on/off button change over to three flashing red lights.

So how do you get your console working again? Most of the time, the answer is that your Xbox has overheated and it needs time to cool off.

After it has cooled down, you can’t just start it up again and expect the overheating problem to magically go away. If the console hasn’t been damaged, then you’ll have to find ways to keep your Xbox running cool.

Here is a list of suggestions:

1.) Run the Xbox in a cool environment. Don’t use it in direct sunlight. If you are living in a very warm climate, always have the air conditioner on when using your Xbox.

2.) Limit the operation time of your Xbox. Don’t do marathon gaming sessions that last more than a couple of hours. Note that some games cause the Xbox to work harder than others and therefore make it generate heat more rapidly.

3.) Keep the cooling vents clear of anything that might prevent the flow of air into the console. This means grit and dust within the vents or objects that may be pushed up against the vents. The console must not be placed in confined areas that restrict the free passage of air.

4.) It’s possible that there’s a source of heat next to your Xbox that you aren’t aware of. It may be a stove, heater vent, warm electronics, or a furnace nearby.

5.) The need to cool the power adapter is often overlooked. Make sure that air is free to flow into the adapter. Keep it clear of shaggy carpeting and out of confined spaces. Try hanging it off of it’s cord on a hook.

If any of the above suggestions solve your ring of death problem then congratulations are in order. If not, then the overheating has caused hardware damage to occur which will require repair. You can either send your console back to Microsoft (if your warranty is still intact) or you can send it to a repair shop.

The importance of the arts for children, particularly piano playing, has fallen by the wayside with the latest generation of parents. Attracting girls comes easy for some guys, but for the rest of us it takes a lot of work. So if you know how to approach, talk, and act right in front of a woman, your chances of success increase substantially. Don’t get me wrong, looks are a part of attraction, but women are emotional beings and if you portray the right image, looks shouldn’t have much, if anything to do with it.

Women go to great lengths to get ready to go out for a night on the town, for hours in advance. We lay out different outfits to decide what to wear, do our hair (often redo it several times), bathe, use creams and apply makeup, and much more – simply to get ready for an average night at a club. If you look like you just fell out of bed, plan on going back there, alone.

It’s not the fact that the guy’s a jerk that they like, it’s the simple fact that most jerks are confident. Being confident without being a jerk is the biggest turn on any woman could hope for. But make sure not to confuse confidence with cockiness. There is a definite line between confidence and arrogance. It’s ok to talk about yourself, just make sure that’s not everything that comes out of your mouth. Nobody likes someone full of themselves. Focus more on being a good listener…Woman love that!

Humor is a great way to break the ice. If you can make a girl laugh, it breaks the tension, and she will feel more comfortable around you. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “Keep her laughing and you’ve got her” or something similar. Being spontaneous and funny is so sexy because you not only convey having a sense of humor, but also intelligence and confidence, all at the same time! Basic Preparation Of Foods: Dairy Produce.

Eggs: Part 2

Poaching: boil 1.5 inches (40mm) water in a shallow pan; add 5 g of salt and a teaspoon of vinegar. Crack an egg into a cup, inspect and tip into boiling water. Reduce the heat. Fold the white around the unbroken yolk with a spoon and continue to simmer for another 3-4 mins. Lift out with a draining spoon and serve on warm buttered toast.

Scrambling: beat the eggs well; add salt, pepper to taste and a dash of milk. Melt enough butter to cover the bottom of a small pan. Cook the eggs slowly, stirring continuously. Cook in a basin floating in boiling water, if preferred. Serve when almost completely set, in about 5 mins.

Fried: Melt enough butter to easily cover the base of (a|the shallow pan. Tip egg in gently and fold the whites around the yolks. When the white has set, baste the yolk to taste and remove whole with a fish slice.

Baked: lightly grease an oven-proof dish and pour the eggs gently into it. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and butter to taste. Bake in a moderate oven and serve in the same bowl after the whites have set.

Omelette: buy a pan and keep it only for omelettes! The base should be smooth and clean. Allow two eggs per person; beat lightly and add salt and pepper to taste. Heat enough butter to cover the base of the pan. When the fat is hot, pour in the eggs; as it sets, raise the handle up and draw set mixture up, allowing the liquid egg to run down onto the hot pan. When all is set, tilt the pan forward and roll the omelette over. Serve immediately on a hot plate. It can be filled with almost anything, before being rolled over.

Pouring Custard: lightly beat 2-3 eggs for every pint of milk. Heat the milk and gradually add to the eggs; add sugar and flavouring to suit your taste; cook in a double pan or jug and hot water until the required consistency has been achieved. If it is not to be served up immediately, pour a thin layer of water onto it’s surface to stop a skin forming on top.

Baked Custard: start as above but then pour the custard into a lightly greased shallow dish; sprinkle sparsely with nutmeg and place the dish in water to halfway up its sides. Bake at 350 F for 35-45 minutes; you can test its solidity by inserting a knife, which should be clean on removal.

Steamed Custard: as above, but cook in a steamer or pan of boiling water. Cooking time about the same.

Custard Tarts: pour pouring custard into unbaked pastry cases and bake in the oven for 40-50 mins. A little jam can be placed in the bottom of the case first, if desired.

‘Drive for show, but putt for dough’ is the phrase we’ve all seen and learned from watching professional golfers in every tournament and championship either live or on TV.

The champions of golf can drive a ball from here to kingdom-come, but it all comes down to how many strokes it takes to get the ball in the hole. The long accurate drives don’t mean anything if you’re unable to putt accurately.

Your choice of putter is very important, but using the putter you have consistently, is even more so. I’ve had the same putter for fifteen years, so I know what it feels like in my hand, I know it’s weight and I know how that plays into my putts.

Putting takes a lot of practice. Typically, we drive the ball eighteen times in a game, but putt at least double that number. So doesn’t it stand that we should practice our putting at least twice as much as driving? If you can’t get to the practice green regularly, just practice on your carpet at home.

Bear in mind that the ball can not make it to the hole, if it doesn’t have enough power behind it to get it in there. So, take the time to get down on your knees and look at the path from your ball to the hole. Does it slope one way or the other? Does it run uphill or downhill?

The stance is: stand with your feet spread for balance and line up the putt. Keep you hands, arms and shoulders completely still. Imagine that you are a “bobble head” and that you move from just below the chest. Keep your head directly over the ball; pull your club back; keep your hands, wrists, arms and shoulders steady – the movement comes from your chest; hit the ball, following through with your club.

Be sure to learn from each putt and remember the lesson. Practice, practice, practice!

Blu-ray technology was developed using a blue laser to read and write to a disc. The wavelength of the Blu-ray is smaller, so much more information can be recorded on Blu-ray discs. Standard DVDs are burned using a red laser and cannot hold as much information as a Blu-ray disc.

Blu-ray discs can store a significant amount of information. They can actually hold as much as six times the amount of data a two-layer DVD can hold, and as much as ten times the amount of data as a two-layered DVD. This allows the picture and sound quality embedded in the disc to have a much greater quality than those on a DVD.

Blu-ray discs will not play in DVD players. Remember, DVD’s are read by a red laser. A blu-ray must be read by a blue/violet laser. The red laser in a standard DVD player cannot read the data on a Blu-ray.

If you plan on watching 1080P high definition movies you will have to upgrade to a Blu-ray player. This will allow you to see great high definition movies the way they were meant to be seen.

Don’t be confused by Blu-ray and HD-DVD. HD-DVD players use a different type of blue laser that cannot read Blu-ray discs. Blu-ray discs cannot read HD-DVD’s either. The technology for each type of disc is completely different, and Blu-ray offers the highest quality audio and video.

This is the perfect time to outfit a new home theater room. You no longer have to buy a DVD player because Blu-ray players can play standard DVDs and new Blu-ray discs. It will not harm your DVD format or alter the disc to play it on a Blu-ray player.

Standard DVD’s will look better when played on a Blu-ray. They will not have the same quality as a Blu-ray, but the picture quality should be improved. You will most enjoy viewing high definition Blu-ray movies in your Blu-ray disc player.
