Gospel music has been around since the early 50′s. IIts music has been used to propagate peace and the word of God. This type of music has many roots that influenced it sound. It is written and sung to express and proclaim Christian beliefs.

In its early phase country music and blues has music is the most evident form that can be heard in its notes. It has evolved too many forms basically because the artist are moving forward with time. It already has Rap gospel music and Rock Gospel Music. Some of the conservative Christian groups still do not want to accept this but basically it proclaims the same message only in different style.

They say that you pray twice when you sing praise and worship songs to God. We love to pray it is our life. And for Christians prayer is a way of life. We always want to talk to God. Listening to Gospel music gives its listeners a different high; it is known to lift its listeners to a different state.

I have been playing in our church band and I have enjoyed it in a different levels. For one it joins me with my creator and helps me propagate his words through one of the most effective mediums which are music. I am also currently playing secular music in my other band, but to play Gospel music is my passion and this gives me a different kind of satisfaction. I think it is because I am singing and making music for a higher purpose.

It is always fulfilling to listen to good traditional Gospel music. Come and join us in Mountain View this coming August of 2009 and share a blessed time with us. For the whole family there’s going to be an exciting event that is happening at pass Christian and that is the annual St. Paul’s Seafood Festival. The connection between the revered Saint and Seafood may not be proven but this event is truly a festival to watch out for and anticipate. Local residents and spectators from across the state and even outside it will meet in this one exciting and delightful event.

This article is written to provide us with the things that can be done at the St. Paul’s Seafood Festival. Truly this event is for the whole family to enjoy. This event is also a healthy thing to do because it is an exercise that can target the muscle and most especially the heart tissues. Dads can have fun competing with other dad at the 5KM race which will express and highlight the players’ agility and endurance.

Moms can have fun displaying their cooking prowess (and at the same time learning different tips and tricks from other moms) at the Seafood cook-off. Seafood dishes vary from grilled lobsters, to baked oysters, shrimps dipped in lemon butter sauce. Yum! What heavenly treats indeed! People are recommended not to watch their diet and throw away their weighing scales for the day.I can say that this is the most anticipated event of all because everyone is expecting to taste the mouthful and savory Seafood dishes.

There will also be a free cake and cookie baking lesson at the Tent where kitchen wares are provided by La Germania- the leading kitchen expert. Kids will ultimately enjoy and disregard the summer heat with the amusement rides and art lessons especially formulated for them. Art instructors from the nearby day care and elementary school will be present to teach the kids some basic watercolor and acrylic painting and crafts making.

At craft fairs, people can have fun under the sun while basking in the glory and grandeur of the piped in music that is provided to further enhance the shopping or crafting experience. Craft fairs are indeed fun places to celebrate a memorable day for each family. Craft fairs are places to bond with your loved ones and socialize with friends and acquaintances. It is also a place where people purchase their favorite craft items and showcase their crafts by becoming a crafter.

owadays when our economy is facing a severe economic meltdown because of recession and economic instability, people tend to realize that they need more cash in order to keep up in these trying times. For people who are professionals or those who have full time employment available for them and who would like to earn extra cash, being a crafter is the very ideal solution. NThat is the reason why they tend to outsource their skills in business building or providing extra services for extra cash.

Crafters are small business people who are able to transform their crafts making skill into a money machine. It is very advisable to own a money machine so people would not be too keen into working themselves off just to live. This is to keep them out of survival mode. When I say money machine, what I mean is businesses or models that generate or pump money even if the owner is not working.

At Craft fairs there are delectable and delicious food for everyone’s enjoyment. It can be hotdogs, fries and onion rings- the three most popular concessions at fairs. There are also ice creams and cold beverages to soothe the tired and thirsty throat.

Kids really act way beyond their ages these days. I once saw my friend’s 3 year old brother open up the computer and started playing games on it. I was really amazed? You know why? The kid can barely walk! I wonder what these kids are still up to and what else these tiny tots can do.

This statement made me remember an event that is due at Kent in Washington which overall talks about flashing kids’ talents. I’m talking about the Crme Brulee Kids Consignment Sale. Every year the organizers of this event, “Just Kids” always see to it that they offer something unique and memorable for the participants and their families to enjoy. Last year the event was entitled, “Mums and Daughters Cook-off”. It was a fun event which was participated by over 50 mother and daughter tandem. Luckily, my daughter Alara and I grabbed the second prize for our “Heavensent” cake recipe.

Other contestants loved the original idea also. For last year we designed our cake with our names and with Alara drawing a mom and a little girl face enclosed in a heart symbol. The “Heavensent” Cake is actually a chocolate cake with a custard and chocolate filling. It was wrapped in a delicious chocolate and vanilla icing. We had fun doing this cake most especially when the judges loved it.

The Creme Brulee contest will gather all talented kids all over the State to fire up their own version of unique Creme Brulee. My Alara is one of the contestants again and as early as now, we are researching for the great tasting creme brulee recipes we could possibly find. I get first hand taste of her crme brulee and I must admit that she is very excellent in what she can do.

This Fruit comes from the family Rosaceae, did you know that scientist don’t consider this as a fruit but a false fruit. “Strawberry Fields Forever”- just as the famous lyrics of the great band “the Beatles”. The fruit itself will be forever being a favorite tasty treat for everyone.

This simply indicates that the fruit actually is not from the plants ovaries but the part that houses the ovaries. It first originated in the European continent and for some accident or let’s says blessed twist of fate spread across the upper part of the United States of America.

We also have wines from this, they ferment the fruit and it comes out as a very nice alcoholic drink. Strawberry is enjoyed in many ways. It is usually eaten as it is just washed it chill and ready to serve. Some like it as a milk shake the blend it and put some milk and ice and then viola instant treat. You can avail it at stores around you and know what I mean. It is very nutritious it contains vitamin b, vitamin c and even calcium. Truly a treat that is also healthy.

But guess what you won’t know the difference, if there is any. This is available in fairly cold climates and it has a season but for off season they cultivate it or grow it in green houses. Consumers cannot stop looking for it so scientist devised a way to grow it out of its normal season.

A lot of strawberry producers will be out to showcase their products based from strawberry. This august of 2009 a strawberry Festival will be held. It will be surely a feast for all of your senses. So come bring your family and enjoy a wonderful mouth satisfying time. Eating strawberries is a lot of fun!

Jazz is a respected and loved style; it is usually played with rolling bass and playing drums, lead by different instruments like saxophone, piano and jazz guitar. It’s basically started and rooted as improvisation. Today it takes a lot of forms. Music is a form of art greatly appreciated by many. It is now taken a lot of forms, rock blues, R & B etc. But who does not appreciate improvisation and notes that can make you dance and at the same time relax you.

Jazz appreciation can is a little bit said to be in the intellectual side. But now as it is popularized its listeners have grown. The age is no longer a factor because it can be appreciated by a lot of levels. It can be danced to, it can be singed with or just sit down and let the music relax you.

The stress of a day wont be erased by just a good night sleep, some us want to dance a little, eat good food, and relax your way with wonderful soothing jazz music. Enjoying time after a busy days work can sometimes be a problem for some people. Today most of us want to have a break.

What is the best way to enjoy music but to pair it with the best variety of foods and drinks? Bring the family and friends and share with them a wonderful time of food, drinks and music. Color your night with the music in the surroundings. Also a good way to share times with a special someone. It can be remembered as a time of laughter and good food.

Tony Kushner is an American playwright and author of numerous plays that garnered huge acclaim and recognition over the past years. At Minneapolis, Minnesota there will be an event that will cater to the theatre aficionados and enthusiasts of this place. The event is entitled “An Evening of Short Plays” wherein works of the famous Tony Kushner will be featured.

Play and theatre lovers will finally enjoy and can sit back and relax from a long and tiring weekend by attending the evening of Short Plays. To better understand this event maybe we should first define what the term Short Play means. A Short play is mostly like a condensed theatrical play that has the ability to portray its meaning in a shorter amount of time compared to the real play. Short plays are also generally portrayed by a less number of actors and artists.

Short plays are commonly done on school activities which is a better alternative to long and tiring plays. Short plays are portrayed on smaller stages and use less intricate and lighter stage effects and props. The smaller stage and the lesser effects are done to make way for the quick change of costumes and scenes.

The play Miss Saigon and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe are both long theatrical plays containing several scenes. Long plays like these can be made to short plays by only choosing a portion of the scene set and acting it out. Several long plays to make it into short plays are divided into scenes where the most important part of the stories can be seen.

Bingo is an all time favorite pass time game in our town. Usually grandmas and grandpas are the players of this classic game. Bingo is a very exciting game; one can never guess who’s bringing home the prizes. Bingo requires a very easy mechanics, making it easier to play. Bingo is just one way of bonding with folks. The game is very engaging because it draws participation and socialization. Bingo is a loud game; people shout numbers and scream their lungs out in saying the word bingo!

Bingo is popularized by its easy to tag along mechanics, there’s no definite number of players required. Piccolo is an Italian game, it resemble the game bingo for it also uses cards and numbers. Piccolo and Bingo differs in mechanics, but, is both fun and exciting to play. Piccolo is the national game of Italy making it more interesting and a must try experience when visiting the country.

Bingo involves limitless players, depending on card availability. Unlimited players, brings unlimited winners. Players are given the option to choose their own set of cards; they can also acquire unlimited cards as long as they can keep up with the game. There are high tech distinctions of playing Bingo. This story had been played at various theatres and musicals all over the world. This is probably one of the most loved children’s novel of my time. The story was written by CS Lewis way back at the 1950′s just as the birth of rock and roll. It is about an epic story between the battle between good and evil in the form of the Lion and the witch. Between these battles the children came into play known as the children of Adam and Eve. The children played certain important roles in the winning of good versus evil. It actually had this review of biblical context between the lines of its story.

The resurrection of the lion and the claiming of the witch over the traitor can be seen in biblical accounts and catechism. Which can actually seen to be true. It is like the saving of Mankind by Jesus represented by the lion and saving us from the bonds of evil. It garnered massive popularity that up to now it is still the most loved, and well read novels of all time.

I discovered this book and read it over and over again as a child I even had version of it let alone played imaginary Narnia battle with my friends. I am able to inherit my mom’s fondness in reading novels. She is a certified bookworm and you can just imagine all those books that are lying in our house. They joy of living it and playing roles with it has been part of my childhood. It was able to induced some good values in me

At Grand Rapids, Michigan a Willy Wonka Musical Theatre will be presented for the delight of the children and adult onlookers. Have you ever watched the film Willy Wonka? The film is a great adaptation starring the most talented character actor, Johnny Depp. Tickets are sold for a very, very reasonable price.

Willy Wonka is the story of a candy empire guru and his weird antics. However weird events began to happen as the mischievous kids (who also managed to receive a golden ticket began to mess up and turn on their spoiled and nasty habits. Soon, the spoiled and ill-mannered kids began to experience weird things in exchange to their mischief. The story centers to that of a poor boy who managed to get a golden ticket which means a memorable trip to the Candy Factory.

Towards the middle of the musical, audience have grown aware that the candy factory if Willy Wonka possess mystery. The musical also developed and audience saw the rare childhood past of Wonka who has a distant relationship with his father. It is not just for the little Oompa Loompa but also with the way Wonka lived his life as a lone, candy man.

Parents are kind of being bombarded by their kids to accompany them and let them watch the musical along with their trusted and dear friends. Great graphics and stage set will ultimately make a great and lavish musical treat for the Willy Wonka fans out there. There should be a real-life chocolate fountain and pool. Candy plants should be authentic because some of the actors should try tasting and biting off a bit from some plants to make the set even more realistic.
