Share Your Digital Photos Online
It seems like almost everyone has a cell phone camera these days that can snap images of just about anything in a matter of seconds. Using electronic photographs instead of the traditional film and paper print photos is cost-effective, there is no wasted paper to end up in the garbage and they take up virtually no physical space at all!
There are lots of different ways to share your photos, from digital picture frames to printing them out to storing them on your cell phone. Whether you are an expert photographer or an amateur camera user you’ll still appreciate the convenience of digital photography. And what is better than just snapping lots of digital pictures is the fun way you can share them with other people.
One of the growing ways to share your photos to others is with a photo blog. A blog is a website that allows an author to publish instant updates onto World Wide Web about just about any topic imaginable. A photo “web log” can feature the digital images you took on any specific day or trip. You can include your written thoughts about your photos and you can tell people about why you took the photos and where you were when you took them.
To start a photo blog you only need to find some no cost blogging sites and pick a blog name. Most blogging sites are easy to get started with. You just type your comments out in a post, insert your digital photos from your camera and the blogging software pretty much does the rest. When you are satisfied with a post you “publish” it and everyone on the planet can instantly see it!
With a photography web log you can not only share your photos with others but you can also allow people to comment on your posts. If you allow comments on your photos then you can also discover what other people like and do not like about your images. Getting commends from visitors to your blog is part of the fun of posting your photos online.
Remember not to worry about always composing a post that’s perfect. It is your photo blog and you can put up pictures of whatever you like. You can share photos of a a recent trip one day and then post photos of some grass in your front yard the next day. Just try to have a good time with the ability to share your electronic images so easily with your own blog!
