Taylor Swift, despite her young age, has proven herself in the music scene as a talented singer/songwriter. When her single Love Story became another hit, Taylor Swift proved yet once again that she is a certified country hit maker. She has always shown great potential even when she first broke out in the music scene. An artist who writes her own songs and plays the guitar, she is a certified country star.

Love Story is from the Fearless album. It talks about a young forbidden love. In it, the girl (obviously Taylor since she tells her story through her songs) is struggling to be with her Romeo which her daddy doesn’t approve of. She sings about going somewhere they can be alone; where she will be the princess and he, the prince.

She tells the story of how young they were when they saw each other. And that at a young age she would fall in love with Romeo who made his way through the crowd just to say hello. Because daddy wants Romeo to stay away from Juliet, she sneaks out to the garden for a rendezvous with her man and begs him not to go away.

The forbidden love was too much to bear for Juliet because people were telling her how she should feel. But despite all that, she remains hopeful and faithful to their love for each other. But as every deep feelings are meant to end up, Juliet started to lose faith in the love because she got tired of waiting for Romeo.

Using the characters of the classic Shakespearian play Romeo and Juliet was a wise move for the singer/songwriter. This made the song more appealing to the audience because they will be able to understand the song better. Who doesn’t know the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet? Alluding the characters of this classic added more appeal to the story of the song. It adds to the aesthetic value of the song.

However, it doesn’t matter if you relate to the message of the song clearly or not. This is one of the case where you take a song in its entireity. It’s undeniable, the song sounds great. Good writing combined with great melody and interpretation.

Love Story is one great song. It was written and interpreted very well. Good writing combined with great music and excellent interpretation. Nothing else needs to be said. Taylor Swift creates a love anthem with this one.

Court reporting is a career that involves recording the information, testimony, and proceedings of a court case. Since no video cameras are allowed in a courtroom, the court reporter provides the only official record of the proceedings, making this a very important profession, and often one that is paid quite well.

Methods of Court Reporting

Court reporting is not an easy profession, because court reporters must be able to somehow record the information presented in court quickly and accurately, turning it into written transcripts after the day in court is over. In the past, this required professional court reporters to learn the skill of stenotyping. This involved typing using a special typewriter that used symbols to represent spoken sounds, thus reducing the number of keystrokes required to record the information presented in court. This was effective, but took a tremendous amount of training to perfect. The need for this specialized skill is part of the reason that court reporters are paid so well.

What Is Voice Writing?

While stenotyping is still used today, modern court reporters have another option, and that is voice writing. Voice writing involves taking down the information through the spoken word, rather than the typed word. It has been used for a while in conferences and non-court purposes, but is gaining a following in the world of court reporting as well.

Voice writing involves speaking into a silencer that is connected to a laptop computer. The computer has voice recognition software on it, allowing everything the speaker says to be recorded. The silencer keeps the words from being audible to people in the courtroom. The court reporter can then repeat everything that is said, describe people’s reactions, and speak any other details that need to be recorded, and the laptop will translate that into written words. The reporter can then return to the document after the proceedings are over to clean it up and make a presentable copy to deliver to his client. Some voice writing setups also allow the laptop to copy the words spoken by the people in the courtroom along with the commentary from the court reporter.

Is Voice Writing Better?

Voice writing may be a better solution for courtroom records. It tends to deliver a more accurate transcription of the events, particularly when set up to record the actual words spoken in the courtroom. Since people can speak faster than they can type, even with the aid of a stenotyping machine, court reporters using voice writing can record more of the proceedings and their observations than those using traditional methods. It also produces a clearer transcript, so court reporters spend less time editing their final product. This means they can take on more assignments and increase their profits. It also eliminates the possibility of stress injuries, such as carpal tunnel, which are common with professional stenotypists who use their hands repeatedly to earn a living.

One potential downside to voice writing is the fact that it requires highly specialized equipment. Training court reporters about this new way of recording information can be a challenge for some courtrooms. Seasoned court reporters may feel uncomfortable learning a new technology after years of doing things one way. In spite of these downsides, voice writing looks like a promising option for the future of court reporting as a career.

What do you think of when you hear the words on hold? Im going to guess that for most people, the connotations are less than positive. To put a project on hold means to postpone it or block its forward progress. Typical on hold experiences for people calling businesses or organizations on the telephone range from the mildly irritating to the outright maddening. One of my personal pet peeves is the cognitive dissonance I experience when my listening pleasure is interrupted with Your call will be answered in the order in which it was received as opposed to a more grammatically correct alternative such as, Calls are answered in the order in which they are received, prompting me to shout into the phone, If youre going to interrupt that stupid music at least use good grammar! But I digress.

Because most businesses need to keep their callers on hold for so much of the time, strategies have been developed to minimize the negativity. Simple, often cheesy hold music such as what we might think of as Muzak has been widely used, while targeted, custom written and produced messages combined with better quality hold music have grown in popularity in recent years. Fortunately, its becoming less common to encounter a business or organization that doesnt have at least some kind of hold music instead of empty silence. At least you know your call is still connected.

Do you consider that spending time in traditional classrooms is a waste? For some people, that is true. Chakra Meditation ” A Primer

4. Heart Chakra governing your general relationships, and feelings of love and compassion is located at the center of the chest and related to the element Air.

5. Throat Chakra located at the base of the throat and related to the element Sound. It governs clear communication, creativity, and resonance during our entire lifespan.

6. Brow or The Third Eye Chakra located between the brows on the forehead and related to the element Light. It governs perception, interpretation, imagination, and clear vision.

7. Root Chakra, also called the Base Chakra, is situated at the base of the spine. It is related to the Earth element, which governs our overall health, security, and prosperity in life.

By concentrating and synchronizing these vital energy centers, one can achieve a calming influence on the mind resulting in stress-free existence and a contented life. Chakra Meditation also helps in naturally healing any ailment related to these 7 vital energy centers.

Chakra Meditation ” The Process

Chakra Meditation involves three techniques in this order:

1. Grounding Technique refers to the process whereby, your body feels connected with Earth. The visualization involves assuming a root growing from your body and entering into the Earth, thus, transfixing your body to the ground. With some intense focus and determination, you can achieve this state of Chakra Meditation.

2. Centering Technique. This technique is vital as it prepares your body to receive the benefits of Chakra Meditation. Again, the application of this technique is not too difficult. Just take 4-5 deep breaths and feel every body part from head to toe getting relaxed. This process involves tightening and relaxing each body part from toe, and then visualizing the act of a potter who centers a pot on the pottery wheel.

3. Relaxation Technique, which is the final step in Chakra Meditation. There is no hard and fast rule to relax your body. Everyone has his or her own method of relaxation.

Here is a simple method of performing Chakra Meditation:

a) Sit or lie down comfortably.

b) Every stress-causing factor should be addressed and effort should be made to reduce or eliminate the stress as far as possible. Start with loosening the clothing you are wearing. Identify other similar straining factors and eliminate them. And finally, close your eyes.

c) Breathe in a relaxed manner, which is neither too fast nor too slow. Let the breath come naturally!

d) The next step relates to feeling every part of your body from toe to head in that direction. While your eyes are closed, try to feel everything that you wouldve seen with open eyes, like earth, air, clothes, surroundings etc. The idea is to feel awareness even with closed eyes.

e) You may experience a wave of thoughts, fears, and every kind of emotion during this process. Dont avoid them! This represents the release of stress-related thoughts. With practice and regular exercise, these negative emotions and feelings will disappear.

f) Dont hinder your awareness! Let it flow freely from one part of the body to another.

Chakra Meditation can be performed by anyone at convenient hours. There is no rule for the duration of time to perform Chakra Meditation. Suit your comfort levels!

It seems almost foolish to explain the LOST show to someone. This popular series has taken the world by storm since September 2004 when it released. The LOST show aired on the ABC Network in America has been one of the most successful running television shows. After 5 successful seasons, J.J Abrams and Damon Lindelof, the creators of this show should surely be laughing their way to the bank.

The LOST show is a story of survival of 43 passengers of a doomed plane which crashes on an inhabited island. The show captures the journey of the survivors and their struggle for survival.

The LOST show has been made quite detailed and intricate by the creators to retain the interest of the audience. So the creators started Lost Entangled to alleviate the confusion of the fans and to help them understand the LOST show. It is basically focused on the Season 1 and Season 2 because they are quite essential to the complete understanding of the show and its characters.

The concept was initiated this season where a clip of around 40 minutes was aired before the concluding show. This clip helped the viewer recount the happenings of the show and unveiling the mysteries that fans had either missed or in some circumstances, not noticed.

Lost Untangled was the sum up of some of the episodes from Lost Season 1 and Lost Season 2; hence the fans that caught Lost from season 3 got a glimpse of all that had happened in the former 2. It was hilarious and quite fascinating to see the whole concept.

Some of the clips and scenes were shown quite clearly but you will see that there were many important concepts in both the seasons-1 and 2 that the producers just failed to notice. All this made the popularity of Lost Untangled a little less than it would have really been.

But if you there are thinking that Lost Entangled is a shortcut for you to understand what Lost is all about, we are here to squash that idea away. Although the concept is well thought out and executed too, the producers have missed a few crucial parts of Season 1 and Season 2.
