Cheap Gaming Computers Do Exist
Cheap gaming computers do exist, they are just hard to find. There are websites out there that offer affordable gaming computer. When you think of gaming the first thing that might come to mind is that you can’t afford a good gaming computer. Well that’s just not so. The cheaper gaming computers may not come with all the bells and whistles, but ask yourself if you have to have all the extras.
You can get quality gaming computers at reasonable prices. The smaller, cheaper manufactures offer a lot of the same specs, just without all of the expensive add-ons. Do you really need them anyway? The point is to get a gaming computer that you can afford. Well unless you want to trade you car in for the name brand computers!
Four main components:
Processor: The most important part of your gaming computer. The processor is also known as the core. Make sure you get a gaming computer with a dual core. Look around and see if you can find quad cores at a lower price.
Memory: The other components feed off of the memory. If you don’t have enough memory, don’t expect to get very far in your game. Remember this tip it might come in handy when a friend beats you. You could always say you need to update your memory. Make sure your computer has at least 4GB.
Video Card: Alright this is not where you skimp on cost. You will want a great video card for your computer. If for some reason you skimp out on this, don’t expect to be the leader in any of your games. In fact, you might want to get use to seeing your screen player doing good one minute and being attacked the next. Your video card will be to slow to let you see in real time. If you want to get into gaming make sure you have an updated video card, 512MB or better should do the trick.
Cooling System: There’s is nothing worse than beating a mega boss within an inch of its life, only to have your PC overheat and crash. There are two predominate types of cooling systems in gaming systems: air cooled and liquid cooled. Most PCs use a fan to pull the hot air off of the processor. Some systems take a radiator approach to cooling, piping liquids through the PC. The liquid approach is the most effective, but also the most expensive.
There are websites that provide great low cost gaming systems. You will find when looking at these websites they also offer information on new and upcoming gaming systems. You will also find other gamers giving out information and tips on their sites. Which is also a plus for any gamer. The price on your gaming system has nothing to do with how good of a gamer you are. Becoming a master gamer is all on you, not your system.
Buying cheap gaming computers doesn’t mean they are outdated or will not work with today’s games. They may not look as fancy or have the big mark ups as the big manufactures, but this could also be a plus for some people. Regardless if you buy the cheap or expensive gaming computers, one thing you can count on is that technology is always growing. What you have today will need to be updated tomorrow. That’s another good reason why you should buy an affordable gaming system.
