An Introduction To The Wow Warrior
The WoW Warrior is mostly known for his tanking abilities in raids and dungeons. Warriors are also in high demand because of this and if they spec protection, they will certainly have very little difficulty finding groups and raids at any level.
As a WoW warrior, your primary attributes are stamina, agility and strength. Towards the maximum level, you will find attack power and defense more important, the latter especially if you spec protection. Protection is by far the most in demand talent set for a warrior at endgame as this is specially designed for tanking.
The other two specifications allowed for warriors are arms and fury which are both optimized for DPS. Choosing one of these talent trees can make the warrior a powerful killing machine and coupled with plate armor, warriors can be amongst the strongest classes available. Arms/fury hybrid specifications are especially popular for leveling and optimized DPS.
Warriors are one of the few classes which are able to wear any kind of armor after level 40 and they may also be able to use any of the weapons except for wands. Depending on what sort of specification you choose, you may find it better to dual wield smaller weapons or to take a massive two handed axe or sword.
Another advantage of the warrior is that they can be any race in the game except for the blood elf. They are also popular amongst people who are new to the game because they do not have a steep learning curve though they can be frustrating to level.
Despite all this, if you don’t like tanking, then a WoW warrior is probably not the class for you. DPS warriors, although you can take dual specs now, are never in particularly high demand so you will find that if you want to get into a group and a guild, then you are far better off taking up tanking as this is something that every raid needs.
