The idea of Xbox is apparently came from Nintendo Wii Motion control. The dissimilarity is that they recreate it into something more innovative that revolutionize home entertainment.

The basis for a new Xbox 360 is actually Project Natal. The projects mission is to expand the Xbox 360s fanatics.

Project Natal will surely offer a complete new phase of interactivity for Xbox 360 users and game players international. For sure this will hit the market by the time it will be published.

Project Natal was first announced last month, June 1, 2009 at E3 2009. Though Microsoft has not formally broadcast any price or release date projections for Project Natal, it is expected to release in late 2010.

Ever since video game designers were able to put red pixels on their imaginary characters that had newly deceased, there have been people crusading against their subversive ways. The outrage at video games seems to be recurring, fading very temporarily before exploding into the public eye once more with rehabilitated emotion.

The controversy seems to have sparked up again in recent times, with numerous crimes being blamed on the corruptive influence of video games. There have also been various “controversies” surrounding recent video games and their content in the areas of both violence and sexuality.

The first game to receive widespread criticism and media attention was the martial art fighting game “Mortal Kombat”. This game included large spurts of blood emitted from attacks and also “Fatalities” that could be performed on astonished opponents after their defeat.

These Fatalities were grisly animation sequences showing the victorious player killing their defeated opponent in a vast variety of ways. Gamers reveled in this new experience and the controversy surrounding the violence caused mass hype that informed the less informed gamers that the game was out there. As a result gamers played the new game just to find out what all the talk was about, thus seriously increasing profits.

One of the largest sparks of controversy has been the recent “Hot Coffee” modification for “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (GTA:SA)”. This involved unlocking a sexually oriented mini-game that had been removed from the game before release, although obviously not from the source code. The creators of the game, Rockstar Entertainment, obviously realized that this particular part of the game was not appropriate for the video gaming public and removed access to it.

An enterprising fan of the game found out and modified the original code to give access to the content once again. Lawsuits were brought against Rockstar for including such content in their game, although the validity of the lawsuit has to be questioned. If the game is simply purchased and played as intended by the developers, this admittedly tasteless and inappropriate mini game would never be encountered. It is not until the user-made modification is downloaded and installed that the player is able to access the content.

Samurai Deeper Kyo is a DVD series based on the manga series by Akimine Kamijyo which is set to be released in July 2009. Set in the 1600s, the Volume 1 DVD includes the first 7 episodes of the 26 that have been on TV. The story is about two characters by the name of Demon Eyes Kyo and Kyoshiro and they embark on an epic sword fighting tale.

The battle of Sekigahara in which Kyoshiro and Demon Eyes Kyo duel is the opening scene of the first episode. During the battle, a falling star crashes into the plains and consumes both Kyoshiro and Demon Eyes Kyo ending the duel in a massive cloud of debris. Moving forward 4 years in time, the plot then turns to a young female bounty hunter by the name of Yuya. Yuya has been looking for Demon Eyes Kyo for all this time but eventually finds Kyoshiro instead. He is now a medicine man and has no memory of his life as a deadly warrior.

As Yuya takes Kyoshiro into custody, a fierce snake monster attacks them both and Kyoshiro being the kind hearted man he’s turned into tries to help Yuya and joins the fight, only to discover that he has the soul of Demon Eyes Kyo inside him and wins the fight with his powers and saves Yuya.

After this discovery, Kyoshiro notices that every time he enters battle or a fight, Demon Eyes Kyo takes over to destroy his enemies. He learns that Demon Eyes Kyo is trying to find his earthly body and return his soul to it’s rightful place.

The story of Samurari Deeper Kyo embarks on many twists and turns in the plot and is full of epic sword fights and wonderous fantasy tales. With the looming release of the UK DVD, British audiences will be able to enjoy this story on their screens whenever they like. The Samuari Deeper story has also been released as a game on Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS – both of which have been very successful.

Future releases are expected, but as of now, dates are unknown. I, like many other anime fans, have been eagerly awaiting this release. Directed by Junji Nishimura (Ranma ), we can expect an all round good interpretation of the original manga which collected over 38 volumes.

The DVD of volume 1 (episodes 1-7) will be released on the 13th of July 2009 and is rated PG. If you want to buy the DVD by MVM, it’ll set you back 15.99, which in our opinion is totally worth it.
