Many love to ask what love is. I am not exception to the rule. Love is one of those few nouns that expresses something that is real but maybe not because it is just a word. In other words “intangible”. In the case of romantic love it is something we feel with our significant other, but, still, it is intangible. It has no color, no flavor, and no texture, unlike a jacket or automobile. The ancient masters and even current literary giants have taken a stab at describing what this mysterious noun means, and though many come close, still, until one has experienced real love, the words are only words that are interpretations written by masterful writers. Some of them may or may not have experienced love, even so we enjoy reading their loving verbiage.

Theodore Seuss penned a wonderful quote about love. He said, When you are in Love you can’t fall asleep because reality is better than your dreams.” The great Sufi master and poet Rumi gave a caveat to others who were or are in observation of the lovers; Let the lover be disgraceful, crazy, absent-minded. Someone sober will worry about events going badly. Let the lover be. Obviously it was meant as a warning that this thing called love can be quite intoxicating and a couple in love should be left to their devices. In a way, Rumi is giving a fair warning to others. That those not in love should at least respect it in others.

In many of Ralph Waldo Emersons quotes he talks about love and those trying to interfere with it or drive wedges out of envy or hate. He is saying that nature (which he often capitalized with an N or in quotes (Nature) is at one with God as are we (humans). So interference is based on ego, and, ego has never won over nature, because nature has God behind it. He doesn’t come out and say this, he leaves it to the discretion of his readers, but it becomes a very clear thread in the theme of his famous quotes. It is almost a Love conquers all theme in that, how can it not? Love is simply a part of nature as is everything and everyone else; and only ego can try to interfere with it, and ego always loses in the end (if it is up against nature).

Emerson knew much of love and a person’s connection with nature and this is reflected in one of his better-known quotations. Everything in nature contains all the power of nature. Everything is made of one hidden stuff. Though Emerson’s brilliant observance of human behavior and fascinating theories of how the universe works, he had a childlike fascination with nature and it reflects in all his quotes regarding it. The theme of Emerson’s famous nature quotes is that we, as human beings, are not separate from nature, and to develop a faith, one must first develop a love and/or devotion to (outer nature) such as trees, flowers, animals, etc. Nature imparts a very telling secret; we are a part of it. Even Voltaire echoed Emerson’s feelings on romance with Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination. Notice Voltaire, also capitalizes the N in Nature; as he considered it, like Emerson, one of God’s greatest creation, if not the greatest,the nature of human love.

This month I turned fifty-five. Though I was taught many of these famous love quotations in my early days of college, they really meant nothing to me, as, I didn’t think they pertained to me. I was still finding myself, as were many of my peers, and in that self-absorption of finding oneself, there is not a lot of room for real love; but, plenty of room for ego. That is what I had and projected. Arrogance is just a small blip on the r screen that can be noisy, by talking the talk, but not walking the walk which clearly becomes evident.

In my lifetime, I have been blessed to experience the give and take of real love with my finance Lee Hiller, who, like me, walked many similar paths in her early life in search of self and a love relationship. Ironically, we were both ready for real love at the same time; and we are both very grateful.

Have you ever dreamed of writing a best seller? A novel based on your character’s hero or heroine?

Stories as diverse as Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code, and The Color Purple along with most good action adventure, thriller, romance, fantasy and literary novels use the classic mythical 12-part journey from zero to hero as their basic plot premise.

You really need to understand the mindset and heart of your character. Telling a fascinating story means establishing its parameters. Discover simple and effective ways to start a story that will encourage sympathy from your reader.

A character must transcend his normal existence and be tested in any good story. Examine the hero’s character and motivation. The character’s separation from his ordinary world leads him to take the necessary plot to reach his goals.

How this metaphorical transformation can and must occur at the quarter point of the hero’s journey is the only way to ensure growth and eventual plot resolution. Knowing this will help you in all areas of fiction writing.

By the midpoint of the story both the hero and the writer must stretch the limits of their imagination. Writing should not be just a way of entertaining readers, but also a spiritual journey of enlightenment for the writer.

How does the transformation of the hero and the writer point at the crucial plot? Use simple guidelines to ensure the reader is transported by the story, its plot elements and the character.

The ability of the character to overcome the obstacles and achieve the agendas set out at the beginning of the story is the ultimate reward. Structure and resolve character development. Create endings that leave your reader begging for more. It’s all part of the hero’s journey.

Known for their versatility on a variety of terrains, ATVs are vehicles of choice for travel, recreation, and work. However, in order to decide on what brand of ATVs are the best, there must be criteria to go by. Depending on the job, an ATV can differ in engine power, size and design as well as in body shape. Although careful research into the specifications of an ATV is required to buy a good vehicle, several brand names stand out from the rest.

Another noticeable brand in the ATV market is Polaris Industries. If loading onto a trailer, hitch up the trailer to the tow vehicle before loading your ATV. This prevents the trailer from rocking or tipping.

Load your quad in first gear, or the lowest gear possible to mount the ramps. Avoid jerky starts or stops while on the ramps. Never approach the ramps at high speed. This could cause the ramps to buckle or to ram into the back of the trailer or truck.

Once youve loaded your quad, balance the weight over the trailer axle to evenly distribute the load. Set the parking brake on your ATV and secure it to the truck or trailer bed with tie-down straps. Use a total of four straps: two in front and two in back. Ratchet down the straps as tightly as possible. The straps should be tight enough to lock your ATV in place when you try to rock it, and the tires should look like they are under load.

Keep It Clean. After a muddy or dirty ride, spool out your cable and either wipe it down or use a hose. Aim the spray at an angle to your rope. A direct spray can lodge dirt and debris deep into the fibers of your cable, but an angled spray nudges dirt out of nooks and crannies and washes it off.Let the rope dry completely before respooling. This is especially important for synthetic rope, as it can become susceptible to rot if its not properly maintained. Steel rope can rust and weaken without proper care, but it tends to be hardier than synthetic rope.Inspect your winch cable before and after every use. Replace the cable at the first sign of damage, such as excessive fraying, spliced wires, or other signs of wear and tear that could cause your cable to snap under load.

There are four specialised areas of training in the A+ syllabus, of which 2 passes are needed to be considered A+ qualified. We would advise however that limiting yourself to 2 of the specialised areas could expose flaws in your knowledge when applying for a job. Try to cover all four – you’ll be glad you did when it comes to interview time.

A+ certification in isolation will mean that you’re able to repair and fix laptops, Macs and PC’s; ones that are most often not part of a network – which means the home or small business market. If you aspire to maintaining networks, you’ll need to add Network+ to your training package. Taking this course as well will prepare you to command a more senior job role. Alternatively, you may prefer the networking qualifications from Microsoft, i.e. MCP, MCSA MCSE.

Diet is an essential consideration when raising a happy and health horse. Horses require a special diet to thrive. For a horse to get the most natural diet possible, forage feed is crucial to the horse getting the most natural diet possible. Often, pelleted feed is given to a horse. However, the ideal combination is that the horses feed primarily on forage with the addition of supplements.

Beets can be a good nutritional additive for some equines . Pelleted feed – Examining feed pellets vs. traditional horse food. antioxidant nutrients are to given to the horse .Ideally at least half, preferably all, of a horse’s daily feed should be made up of forage feed. As forage feed is such an important factor in any horse’s diet consideration should always be to quality providing the highest quality forage feed available.

Since horses can consume upwards of thirty or forty pounds of forage feed (grass or hay) per day, they must have constant access to it. Grassy pastures are ideal. However, if there is not sufficent grass horses will need to depend on hay. This is especially important in the winter when they must keep a higher body temperature.

Then there is the feed Bran. Bran is a good laxative for your horse when wet and is easily digested. And chaff is good to add to your horse’s feed to keep him from eating his feed too fast. Then there is Barley. Barley is a very good source of nutrition for your horse, especially in winter times when there isn’t much grass to graze on. However, if the barley has not been rolled and crushed, it should be soaked in water for about two hours before fed to your horse. This is too prevent it from swelling in your horse’s stomach and causing problems.

Then there are Oats. Oats are a very common feed for horses. They are a good source of energy for horses and are easily digested. Then there is Sweet Feed. This is a mixture of feed covered in molasses and is very good for horses. Horses love the taste of the molasses over their feed. Sweet feed usually consists of chopped corn, pellets, and oats.

When should a horse be given these supplements? If you have a mature horse with minimal activity should thrive on good quality forage without a need for supplements. Most horses with a good pasture will benefit from supplemental forage during the winter months. If you feed working horses, stabled horses, and growing or breeding horses, it is a good idea to considered additional feed.

Water should always be available to both the grass kept and stabled horse it is particularly important that it is available prior to feeding. Horses should be fed at regular times and a horse or pony should be given a few hours between having a hard feed and carrying out strenuous exercise. Strenuous exercise on a full stomach can cause breathing problems and also put strain on the heart. A horse or pony should never be fed directly after hard exercise.

Ration balancers (also sometimes called diet balancers) are nutrient dense feeds meant to be fed in small amounts. They are an ideal base to most feed programs. Hopefully this quick look at the types of horse feed available has helped clear up some of the confusion at the feed store. Sweet feeds are feeds that have added sugar to make them more palatable to the horse. Usually the sugar is added in the form of molasses. The high sugar and starch content in these feeds can be the cause of behavioral issues and health problems.

G.O.O.D. music artist Kid Cudi has decided to take the leap from hip hop to acting. You can expect to see Cudi staring in a lead role in a upcoming HBO series.

Although I have received numerous press releases regarding Kid Cudi I have never wrote about him because frankly I have never heard of him until recently.

That is until now! I searched the belly of the online world and I found some of his mix tape tracks and I was blown away. Truth be told it was kind of nice to hear real hip hop. So I decided by not introducing my readers to Kid Cudi I was doing nothing but being a part of the problem… I didn’t want to do that I wanted to become part of the solution and to help improve hip hop.

I have digressed… Back on track now! Kid Cudi will be playing a lead roll in a new HBO series entitled, “How to Make It in America.” The series will be produced by the guys who did Entourage. Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer. It’s directed by Julian Farino, who also did Sex and the City, and The Sopranos.

Kid Cudi’s character in the series goes by the name of Domingo Dean. Despite the rappers other successes his character has nothing to do with the music business. This was a point that Cudi felt strongly about.

Although Kid Cudi has secured a part in this new HBO series he has still found time to work on his up coming album, “Man on The Moon: The End of Days.” Word on the street is his album will be released on September 15th, so do yourself a favor and cop this album. The album will feature The Clipse, Common, Kanye West, and the legendary Snoop Dogg. The production of the album will be supported by Kanye West, Just Blaze and Will.i.am.
