Winning On Online Slots

by Simon M Skinner

Many people want to know the master secret behind how to win big on a casino slot machine. There are some people that believe that there is a secret formula out there that is proven to work time and time again. To date, there has not been a single proven method for winning every time on a slot machine. There are things that you can do to increase your odds though and there is some advice that you can follow to see if it happens to work well for you.

The first thing to do is to make sure that you are playing on a slot machine game that has a high turnout of winners. You want to make sure that you are fully aware of the rules and your odds of winning. The more educated you are on the game and everything that is involved in playing it, the better your odds of winning should be.

If the rules seem unclear or you don’t understand how the odds have been calculated, you should look into the matter yourself. You can find plenty of resources on the odds of winning with slot machines and other online games, so it won’t take too long to find the information you need - and this is important knowledge to have.

If you are new to a particular casino slot machine or new to the gaming world all together, you will want to take it a little slow. Do not drop a few hundred down for one turn on a slot machine if this is your first time playing. Odds are, you are going to walk away from that game a hundred dollars poorer.

There are of course the incredibly lucky few out there who really have made a fortune their very first time at the slot machine. While this is a possibility, remember that the odds of this being the case for you are so low that you probably shouldn’t count on this happening.

Talking to other gamers who have done well with slot machines, racking up a relatively consistent record of wins may help - these people will often gave some valuable information on how they have managed to do so well. However, you should keep in mind that the tips they offer are just that: tips. No information anyone can give you will guarantee that you will get the same results, let alone winning every time you play the slots.

You can also ask your family and friends if they have any insight on gaming, supposing that you have friends or family members who have some experience in this area. Make sure to listen to any advice anyone has to offer you, since it may be useful to know at some point. There is no strategy which guarantees success, but you can develop your own system to maximize your odds.

Just as there are no guarantees in life, there are no guarantees of success in games of chance. However, you can help to increase your chances of winning by understanding the game and playing only in reputable casinos. Learning to play slots is a matter of trial and error and you should expect to lose a little money here and there. However, you will get better as you go and who knows - maybe you will be the genius who finally figures out how it all works and comes up with a winning casino slot machine strategy!

The Future of Television is Cable Internet-Watch TV on Your PC For Free

by Terreance Thomas

There are many individuals that would rather turn off their cable subscription than continue to pay high amounts of monthly fees to their cable provider. This is the biggest reason why these individuals are ready for an alternative method to watch television and this alternative method is a computer TV satellite. This technology will provide you with many benefits such as eliminating your monthly payments and providing with over 3,500 channels.

Unfortunately, there are many different computer TV satellites out there and not all of them are a good option. Some provide bad quality pictures and sound, not enough channels for you to watch, and their customer service isn’t nothing to brag about.

So it is important not to get involved with any computer TV satellite that isn’t up to top quality standards. You have to get the software which has been in Interactive Media Magazine for “the best TV to PC software on the net”. This software has the ability to provide you with over 3,500 channels to view and these channels include all the top news, movies, and sports channels. It also provides you with additional channels from all over the world.

Forget about dealing with things like bandwidth signals, poor pictures, and bad sound quality. Without having to pay these monthly fees again, you will have the best software when it comes to watching TV on your computer.

As a matter of fact, a lifetime of this software will cost you about half of what you would pay for just one month of service from your current cable or satellite provider. You will be able to watch more channels than you ever imagined for free.

These reasons are why a computer TV satellite is the future of television and soon everybody will start viewing TV on their computer. The cable companies never liked this idea and for good reason. This new TV technology can easily put them out of business for good. Thanks to this technology people are now able to watch all their favorite shows and more while keeping their money in their pockets.

Building a Modal Chord Progression For Lead Guitarists

by David Miller

To bring out the unique feel of the various modes is one of the challenges of building a modal chord progression. Without taking care in selection , this character can become confused. Now, lets look at Dorian and Phrygian. They are both minor modes. Both will utilize a Minor 7th as the tonic chord. For example If we imparted lII chord into the mix, but played it as a simple triad, we would use the chord of C Major in both cases. Thus, we have an identical chord progression, although both the modes are different.

We can fix up this by adding another note on top of our III chord, giving us a major 7 for Dorian and a Dominant 7 for Phrygian (B vs. Bb) - a fairly subtle change that corrects the balance.

A better way to deal with all this is to cautiously choose chords that are characteristic to the mode in question. For example, lets look at a Lydian progression, we will start with A major 7 as our tonic. We should stress on what is unique in that mode as compared with others to cement the Lydian. Lydian has the risk of being mixed up with Ionian and Mixolydian. By looking at the table above, we can find that of these three modes, only Lydian has a major chord in the second degree - Mixolydian and Ionian are both minor in the 2nd degree, so this would be a wonderful chord to utilize. This makes sense as we know that Lydian has a sharpened 4th.

This same sharpened 4th forms the 3rd of the chord. Since this chord would usually be minor in a regular major scale, sharpening its 3rd would make it major. So another means to look at picking distinctive chords is to base them on notes within the scale that are distinctive - it generally comes to the same thing.

To keep the bass note sounding on the tonic is another trick that we can apply to concentrate on the modality of the progression. It really draws attention to where in the scale the chord is rooted, despite the fact that it complicates the chords a little. Furthermore, it also permits you to focus on the tonality of the musical mode you are working with. Though this trick is less important. But this is a remarkable way to start out and assist you to become more advanced. Building a Modal Chord Progression For Lead Guitarists

To produce the unique feel of the various musical modes is one of the challenges of building a modal chord progression. Without taking care in chord selection, this part can become obscured. As an instance, lets look at Dorian and Phrygian. They are both minor modes because they have flattened 3rds. Both will use a Minor 7th as the tonic chord. If we added for example a III chord into the mix, but played it as a simplified triad, we would use the chord of C Major in both cases. Thus, we get an identical chord progression, although both the musical modes are different.

We can specify this up a little by adding up another note on top of our III chord, giving us a major 7 for Dorian and a Dominant 7 for Phrygian (B vs. Bb) - a fairly subtle change that pretty much redresses the symmetry.

A better manner to deal with all this is to carefully select chords that are characteristic to the mode in question. For instance, lets look at a Lydian progression, we will start up with A major 7 as our tonic. We should emphasize on what is unique in that mode as compared with others to cement the Lydian. Lydian, as being a major musical mode has the risk of being confused with Ionian and Mixolydian. By looking at the table above, we can find that of these three modes, only Lydian has a major chord in the second degree - Mixolydian and Ionian are both minor in the 2nd degree, so this would be a remarkable chord to utilize. This makes sense, because we know that Lydian has a sharpened 4th.

This same sharpened 4th forms the 3rd of the chord deduced from the second degree of the musical scale. Since this chord would normally be minor in a standard major scale, sharpening its 3rd would make it major. So another manner to look at picking distinctive chords is to base them on notes within the scale that are distinctive - it pretty much comes to the same thing.

To carry on the bass note sounding on the tonic is another trick that we can use to concentrate on the modality the progression. It really draws attention to where in the scale the chord is rooted. But it complicates the chords a bit. Moreover, it also allows you to focus on the tonality of the mode you are working with. Though this trick is less important but is a remarkable mode to start out and assist you to become more advanced.
