TRY or Rock: Neil Simon’s supreme comedy of embarrassment, adjusted from Bruce Jay Friedman’s small tale “A Change of Plan.” Jewish boy Grodin gets wedded to Berlin and meets an attractive WASP blonde Shepherd on honeymoon, and determines to shuffle plans. Very comical but relies on your point of view; prompted for maximum impact by Might. The Cast includes Charles Grodin, Cybill Shepherd, Jeannie Berlin, Eddie Albert, and Audra Lindley. Single White Female: Self-employed N.Y. occupation female Fonda, her involvement goes kaput, and ends up sharing her fantasy condo with the Roommate from Hell. Intimate meets Roman Polanski’s match in a well-performed thriller that’s tremendous for an hour-till normal horror picture silliness sets in.
