Michael Clayton: The ethics of a law firm’s “fixer” (Clooney) are set to the test while one of its tough lawyers (Wilkinson) has a nervous break down during the depositions of a huge class action suit. The Addams Family: The Addams family fortune is at stake in this adaptation of the TV series. Uncle Fester has been missing for years. So, some unscrupulous ‘friends’ of the family try to introduce a fake Fester into the family, in order to steal the family fortune.

Dante’s Peak: Formulaic yet amusing catastrophe film where we see a scientist from the U.S. Geological Study who hangs around a mountainside town in Washington just beside a volcano that he feels is going to blow at some second. Cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Linda Hamilton, Jamie Renee Smith, Jeremy Foley, Elizabeth Hoffman, and Charles Hallahan. (108 minutes, 1997)

Ghost: Encountering a thief in a dark alley, Sam is shot and killed. In the form of a ghost Sam stays close to the love of his life, Mary. He is unable to communicate with her, but watches her live on. He soon realizes that his death was no accident, and that Mary is now in danger. He uses a fake psychic to communicate with Mary and try to save her life.

The Transgression of Madelon Claudet: First-rate, fast moving soap in the Madame X vein, in regards to a lady who sacrifices everything so her misbegotten child can have an excellent life. Hayes won an Oscar depicting female who goes from bumpkin to Parisian sophisticate to agonizing mommy to haggard streetwalker-and she’s super. Abby: Carol Speed, William Marshall, Austin Stoker, and Juanita Moore star. This is a dark film dealing with exorcism. In that sense this film is similar to The Exorcist. Abby is the wife of a minister and the daughter in law of another man of the cloth. She is possessed by the devil. (1974 drama)

Thieves like Us: 3 black sheep flee from jail in 1930s south and go on a binge. The youngest (Carradine) falls in love with an easy, ignorant gal (Duvall). Piennes is a hustler whose selling psychological recordings of genuine-life experiences, to which some become dependent; then he trips into a gloomy slay conspiracy engaging his customers. Bombastic and overambitious, although manages to seize, in fits, the addictive buzz of artificial actuality. An interracial romance between Piennes and Bassett doesn’t ring real when all is said and done. Cast includes Ralph Piennes, Angela Bassett, Juliette Lewis, Tom Sizemore, Michael Wincott, Chris Douridas, and Todd Graff. (122 minutes, 1995)

Daring Game: This is not a poor venture tale of underwater master guess who. He is looking for spouse and baby girl of his prior lady friend. Cast includes Laslo Benedek, Lloyd Bridges, Nico Minardos, Michael Ansara, and Joan Blackman. (100 minutes, 1968)

The Abyss: A submarine has sunk. A nearby oil rig crew is sent down to rescue the sub if possible. Once down there they find that this in no normal situation. This film stars Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Michael Biehn, and Leo Burmester. (1989 Sci-Fi)

The Rainmaker: Lawyer Rudy Baylor is about to get the case of his life. A large insurance company had been slow in paying for the medical bills of a young boy. This causes the boy to become terminally ill.
