Trading Places: This movie is testing heredity vs. environment by switching a “have” preppie Aykroyd and a “have-not” road hustler Murphy. Murphy, in his second film, is a powerhouse, and makes up for director Landis’ pleasures like a subplot engaging a horny gorilla.
