There Are A Vast Amount Of Chandeliers To Choose From

by Cody Scholberg

A lot of people simply adoring gazing into the windows of various lighting stores, however the real excitement does not lie in gazing in a storefront window, you need to journey inside. Upon entering a light store the first thing many people notice is the abundance of lighting fixtures that they have to choose from. Often times selecting the right fixture for your personal style can be a daunting task.

However, before you let impulsive shopping overtake your train of thought it helps to know what sets one chandelier apart from the others.

The infamous crystal chandeliers are amongst one of the most popular chandeliers available. These gleaming chandeliers have avidly been showcased in a plethora of movies and often times used to represent an immense amount of wealth. They are normally characterized by gleaming shards of crystal streaming from them, as well as a few glass beads to give them an extra touch of shimmer.

Shell chandeliers and beaded chandeliers are extremely similar to the decadent crystal chandeliers that many people choose to avidly display. The only thing that sets these chandeliers apart from their crystal counterparts is it utilizes shells and beads instead of fine tuned crystals. However, despite the materials used these chandeliers are gorgeous as well.

The Murano glass chandeliers simply cry out extreme elegance. They are made to resemble the Murano region of fabulous Italy. The chandeliers are made solely from blown out glass and often times feature sea motifs on the outside of the glass to give the pieces a more Italian art feel.

There are also metal chandeliers which come in a variety of different metals that include nickel, iron, gold and brass. These chandeliers give a medieval feeling to any space that they occupy.

The antler chandeliers are made from 100% natural materials. They are pre-made or custom made with real animal antlers taken from elks, deer?s, or moose. However, these particular chandeliers are high in expense and are difficult to locate.

A lot of people have never heard of the mission chandeliers. These particular types of chandeliers are squared off and look almost boxy to anyone that views them. Normally these chandeliers are made from wood or a different type of stained glass.

Candle chandeliers are exquisite; they resemble chandeliers when they were first manufactured. The main light source with this particular chandelier is a candle, however you can choose to emulate the chandeliers of the past by using fire candles or use an electronic fire candle that looks quite similar to the real thing.

Regardless of what chandelier you decide to go with, a chandelier will add its own sense of personality to any room.

Planning Gay Travel to Australia

by Howie Holben

Picture an entire continent filled with unique and exciting adventures. Now think of urbane and tolerant cities, perfect for gay travel or vacations. Imagine vacationing in a land of wonders so diverse, with settings (both natural and manmade) so magnificent, it truly boggles the mind.

Australia offers the gay traveler an impressive and welcoming destination unlike any other in the world. It is no wonder gay couples and singles are heading “Down Under” for the experience of a lifetime.

When you’re in Australia you are rarely far from experiences that will excite you as never before. For the wine connoisseur, try going to Yarra, Coal River or Swan Valleys. Visit the wineries and their tasting rooms to experience first-hand the contrast between a smooth white and smoky red. Excitement junkies can go diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland or Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia.

Visitors can swim with giant whale sharks at Ningaloo. In the Northern Territory at Darwin Harbor, you can dive World War II shipwrecks. In Tasmania you can hike national parks and ancient rainforests, home to interesting plants and animals.

No gay traveler’s Australian trek would be complete without a stop in Melbourne, the second-largest city in Australia. It is a multi-cultural metropolis where sedate Victorian architecture effortlessly fuses with contemporary offerings. In this friendly locale, the gay traveler can study sculptures in Werrebee Park, shop high-end or discount clothiers and funky boutiques, take in a musical or comedy at the theater, and cap it all off with a visit to one of Melbourne’s trendy clubs, or even a coffee bar!

For gay travelers who enjoy driving, consider embarking on the Pacific Coast Touring Route and take in the lush and quaint scenery. But remember, Australians drive on the left side of the road! If that sounds too sedate, you can get your heart pumping during various water sports, such as river rafting or kayaking.

Australia is located in the Southern Hemisphere, so the seasons there are reversed from the season in the Northern Hemispere. In general, Australias coastal regions are warm and humid, while the interior regions are desert-like and dry, with blistering temperatures in the daytime that dip to freezing at night.

Australia has a very wide range of accommodations. From hostels to small inns for romantic holidays, to high end spa retreats and everything in between, making a gay vacation to Australia affordable, no matter what you budget might be.

Why David Letterman is facing his past

by Tania Gabrielle

David Letterman has been on the front pages in the last few days for an extortion attempt by CBS journalist Joe Halderman.

Having written about David Letterman’s outburst against Sarah Palin’s young daughter in June, I was already familiar with his name and numbers. I’m not surprised, needless to say, by the latest incident on this famous talk show host’s life.

Additionally, there are several reasons for this story to break in 2009.

David Letterman is in an 18/9 Personal Year right now. This ending cycle means he has to confront and let go of his past. Number 9 cycles are times of cleansing and culmination. Putting your life in order is key.

For Letterman this cleansing takes on additional meaning when you consider his Personal Numerology Blueprint.

Letterman’s 10/1 Destiny and Life Purpose guarantee his monologues are unique, original and super creative. His Double 1 also means that next year, a Personal Year of 1, is a major cycle for Dave – one that could define his career, now that Jay Leno is no longer with the Tonight Show.

There are other numbers active as well.

Letterman was born on a 12 Day. 12 reduces to 3, so this Day of Birth gives him great talents as a performer since 3 is the vibration of self expression. Obviously, talking is his talent.

But 12 is also known as the ‘Victim Number.’ At certain times in his life he may be victimized and/or become the victimizer himself.

Keep in mind Letterman is in a 9 Personal Year right now. And last month was a 9 Personal Month for him. So his 12/3 was doubly activated during this extortion attempt. Numbers 3-6-9 are in the same trilogy and his 9 cycles are activating his 12/3 Day of Birth.

Now, a fortunate current name would have helped Letterman transcend the negative potential of the 12/3 and instead help him focus on what is positive about this number.

Yet ‘David Letterman’ adds up to 13/4.

Itis interesting to me as a numerologist, to see the number 13. On the one hand it indicates genius. 13 is an ‘out-of-the-box’, politically incorrect, highly original number. Flashes of genius are common.

13/4 is also associated with power, which may not be used for selfish reasons – otherwise it will bring destruction. Letterman, chairman of his company ‘Worldwide Pants’ is obviously powerful.

In case you’re wondering, ‘Worldwide Pants’ adds up to a perfect number for Letterman. It’s the Media Number 14. He couldn’t have picked a better name for his business.

But back to his OWN current name. The 13 that ‘David Letterman’ adds up to means he’ll be dealing with the unknown and unexpected. That is certainly the case with this latest incident. Of course, Letterman thrives on being a conduit of the unexpected in his monologues and with guests.

What he needs to understand is this. The combination of a 12 Day of Birth and 13 current name brings challenges which could be eliminated with a fortunate name number.

Let’s just say, for Joe Halderman, the producer and journalist who attempted to extort Letterman, his name hasn’t helped his current predicament either.

‘Joe Halderman’ adds up to 43/7 – not good. 43 indicates strife and conflict as well as tremendous disappointment in life. He can get to the top with this number, only to be suddenly toppled.

Clearly you can reach great visible success with a challenging current name. However you are always at the risk of facing scandal, personal disappointment, inner conflict or sudden reversals of fortune.

Where a Fortunate current name will allow you to transcend all obstacles with grace and ease.

It also attracts fortunate events and assistance without any baggage attached.

So be sure you and your loved ones a have current names that add up to fortunate numbers. Go to http://taniagabrielle.com/fortunate_name.html
