In the series vampires have an extraordinary sense of smell. Have each player at your party blind folded. Then offer each player an item with a strong scent. It can range from something easy to recognize as an orange to more difficult items like a hair care product. The challenge is for each player to identify as many items by smell as possible. The player that has the most accurate guesses is the winner.

Vampires also have a keen awareness of their surroundings. So why not play a blindfolded game of red light green light. In the game a person stands at one end of the room and the rest of the players at the other end. The single player then calls out red light or green light. When the player calls out green light the other players can move towards him or her. When he or she calls out red light they have to have to freeze in place. If anyone can’t maintain their position they are out of the game. The first person to touch the player calling the shots wins. The twist is that the caller can’t see so they will have to rely on all their other senses to know when to call red light.

Vampires like Edward and another character, Aro, can read minds. A great game idea is to do a Twilight version of the Newlyweds Game. Have friends or couples pair with each other and ask them questions about their relationship based on the Twilight books. Like in the game show one partner will write down the answer they would give to a question while the other person has to guess it. The team with the most correct guesses will win.

Vampires like Alice in the Twilight series have the ability to see into the future in a limited fashion. Try to have a gambling game that relies on prediction based on this. For example you can have guests roll a set of dice. Have them predict what they will roll. If they fail to make 3 accurate predictions out of five they will have to perform a penalty decided by the rest of the participants.

You can also do fun trivia games. A great suggestion is to have a party version game of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Like in the game show each guests will answer a set of question about the Twilight series. They can use life lines to help them answer three of the questions. The person who can reach the millionaire level wins.

Considering that just about none of us were alive at the turn of the 20th century, it’s hard to write this article without at least a trace of bias.

After all, we weren’t there to see most of the athletes of the’00s so it’s hard to completely realize what they meant to society at the time. What you should know is that many of the men from the past paved the way for the big stars we enjoy today.

These are the five most influential athletes in sports history, in my opinion of course. If you have thoughts of your own, by all means share them.

The first person I’ll mention is a baseball player whose impact could never be felt today like it was a century ago. Ty Cobb was one of the most influential baseball players in baseball history, and is largely responsible for the sport’s popularity.

As far as boxing goes, Muhammad Ali was the most high profile boxer to ever grace the sport. His personality and charisma were second to none, and the same can be said about his boxing skills.

Pele is often considered the Michael Jordan of soccer. Considering the fact that more people worldwide watch and play soccer than any other sport, he easily commands a top 3 spot on this list.

Babe Ruth. The Babe officially put baseball on the map and made it America’s pastime for nearly a century. He was a legend of his time and still remains the king of the home run in the minds of many. If not for Babe Ruth, baseball wouldn’t be as big as it is today.

In the basketball world, everyone wants to be like Mike. Many of us were fortunate enough to see him in action, and Jordan was the kind of athlete whose talent is witnessed once in a lifetime.

When you walk into the home theater system area of your local consumer electronics outlet, the multitude of choices are daunting. However, if you decide you would like a smaller screen, say, 30-40 inches, then it would be ideal for a smaller living room or larger bedroom.

You will have to decide on which kind of TV you want. Plasma and LCD televisions provide the sharpest and clearest pictures. DLP and rear projection televisions can be somewhat less expensive, but a major negative point is the viewing angle. DLP and rear projections don’t give a nice picture when viewing from an angle. Also, make sure your target room where the entertainment center is placed has the appropriate angle. This should help you in your decision on with home theater system to purchase.

One other significant aspect is the receiver. Some receivers for entertainment centers have outputs and inputs for a satellite dish and a cable TV hookups, as well as inputs for several kinds of other things, such as media players (VCR and DVD players) and even PC hookups.

Some entertainment centers even have built-in radios, though they are starting to become less common. One of the more modern receivers is the fact that they can play XM radio, though XM sometimes requires addition fees on a monthly basis.
