I Visit Canada For The Restaurants In Toronto
I adore Toronto, one of my favorite metro areas. Some call Toronto little New York. It has everything New York has on a smaller more intimate level. You can see a first rate play, attend a great concert, and enjoy a top class meal at several of the restaurants in Toronto.
Talk about clean. Toronto is one of the cleanest cities in the world. It is the cleanest city I have visited. With the millions of people in Toronto this is saying a lot about their clean mindset. Everyone seems to clean up after himself there. And if you love steak, Toronto is one of the best places in the world for fine steakhouses.
The Toronto restaurants have contacts with some of the finest beef farms in this hemisphere. Some Toronto locals have been visiting the same steak houses for over sixty years and remember when their grandparents took them there to eat. One of the finest transit systems can be found in Toronto making it easy to visit your favorite restaurant no matter where it is in the city.
Toronto boasts one of the best mass transit systems in the world. You can visit all your favorite restaurants in Toronto by bus, subway, or even trolley. Do you like seafood over steak. Prepare for the best lobster dinner when in Toronto. Or do you cater to Sushi? Toronto has some of the best Sushi in the world.
I love going to one of my favorite Toronto restaurants where the chef bakes pounds of garlic at a time. He then creates a delicious garlic spread and bakes wonderful garlic bread. I pleaded with him for the recipe but he refused. I cannot blame him. I will go back though and I left with an order to go.
Toronto is also one of the most crime free cities in the world. I feel safe visiting my favorite Toronto restaurants no matter the time of day or night. Who wants to lose ones appetite worrying about the crime of a city. You have nothing to worry about in Toronto.
I think my favorite type of food is Italian. And the best lasagna I have ever had was in Toronto. It was a combination of chicken, spinach, broccoli, and three different chesses. But it was the perfect pasta sauce that made the meal. Almost all finer Toronto restaurants have an excellent wine selection.
And to let you in on a poorly kept secret, the nicest people in the world are Canadian. You might expect a large city like Toronto to be a little on the unfriendly side. This not the case at all. You feel welcome throughout the city. And certainly in the restaurants in Toronto I visited I felt like part of the celebrity dining list. Great food, excellent service, and friendly people make Toronto one of my favorite places to eat.
