Sonic games sell great in today’s video game market even though our blue hero does not have a console he can call home. Since Sega stopped developing new consoles many people thought that Sonic would disappear for good. But the real fans know that you cannot keep Sonic the Hedgehog down. He has been appearing on different consoles, sometimes even with his rival Mario. Lets take a quick look at some great Sonic games.

Great graphics and the gameplay in this game stayed the same compared to the previous Sonic game, but the levels are more interactive. There are more context sensitive items you can interact with. Every level has also a boss at the end instead of every other level.

Looking at the games you will notice that there is only one 3D game in the list and all the other games are 2D. The reason for this is that the 2D games are what made Sonic as famous as he is today. The 3D games are good also, but if it was not for the older games, our blue hero would never have made it this far.

After playing these four games you will notice why they are so popular. Not only are the graphics incredible for its time, the music was great, also. And the gameplay is responsive and very enjoyable.
