Places to Think About Visiting
One of the great things about this country is the huge presence of some incredible cities. Many of these are a lot of fun when it comes to travel, and should absolutely be visited at some point when you can. Do you think you’ve seen it all, and don’t know where to go next?
My job has required that I do a lot of traveling during these last few years. One of the benefits is the fact that I’ve seen a handful of great cities that I had never previously been to. I’m going to share a few of my favorites with you.
If you haven’t been to Nashville, Tennessee, you’re missing out. This is a great Southern city that’s rich with culture. I’ve been there three times this year and I never grow sick of it.
The culture in Nashville is really interesting, paying homage to country music and its long standing history. You’ll also find many wonderful restaurants in the city, as there are many restaurants for just about any kind of food you can think of.
The next city I’m going to mention is one that might be a better destination when it’s warm out. Regardless, I’ve had a lot of fun in Providence and I believe that you would too. A visit to Newport is a must during a trip to Providence.
The city or Providence is a rare blend of old and new, and there’s a great art scene that many visitors enjoy. Then there’s Newport, with some wonderful beaches, the tennis hall of fame, and some great historic scenery.
My last suggestion is the great Southern city of New Orleans. With its historic French influence, the architecture is great and the Cajun food is even better. Try to make a trip here if you’re fortunate enough to have a means.
Each of these cities is worth a visit. I hope you enjoy them all as much as I have.
