by Marcia Walsh

The Sony Bravia KDL37W5810 utilises the new Bravia Engine in this television. By making the most of the latest technology, they have made a cornerstone in home entertainment.

The Sony KDL37W5810 is extra slim and can fit onto any existing table or entertainment cabinet with ease. The casing has a piano black finish, and it was designed to fit into any room with any type of interior design and not be out of place. This TV set has a swivel base, so you can place it anywhere in the room and not have to rearrange the furniture to watch it from the best angle.

This is a HD ready TV and has the 1080i, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the picture. They also include a digital tuner and a Freesat, which gives you hundreds of radio and television channels, and these two technologies negate the need for cable and extra equipment to watch the television. When you plug HD devices into one of the 4 HDMI slots, the remote becomes universal for those items, making it convenient to use. You have one remote not several.

The colour on the KDL37W5810 is well above any expectations. Live Colour gives the hues the added pop, making the hues true to life and vibrant. It can be adjusted, so you get the best colour based on your preferences, not a computer. The Advanced Contrast Enhancer also gives you true blacks, making the screen come alive with depth.

The Bravia Engine 3 is part of what gives the Sony KDL37W5810 such clear pictures and sound and vibrant colours. Image Blur helps to keep the high action sequences from jumping and blurring, so you can see exactly what is going on. For the movie lover, the True Cinema shows them how they were filmed, with 24 frames per second.

The Eco Settings on the Sony Bravia KDL37W5810 can help save the planet, and money on your bills. The light sensor can measure the available light and brighten or dim the back light as needed. When the power saving mode is used with it, it can use up to 30% less energy then normal use.

You can also access the internet with the KDL37W5810 using the Applicast to tap into Sony’s widgets. The DLNA network can let you hook up your PC or laptop. You can also add more videos, music and photos with the USB port and even customise the Picture Frame mode and make your screen saver special.

The sound on the Sony KDL37W5810 is great considering the limitations imposed by the lack of depth. Using S-Force it mimics the way the ear hears and gives you true surround sound. You can use the Voice Volume so you never have to miss what they say or interrupt your movies by rewinding. The Steady Sound lets you watch your show; no more reaching for the remote when commercials come on.

The Sony KDL37W5810 is one of the best all around television sets on the market that is packed with all the bells and whistles, and gives you the performance you expect from the leaders in the industry.

Ronky The Monster Of Lake Ronkonkoma New York

by LJ James

Ronky The Monster Of Lake Ronkonkoma New York

It was a Sunday in Summer of 2009 went I first saw Ronky with my own eyes. I had heard stories of Ronky here and there, They had come to me in Whispers really. The History of Ronky has been a well kept secret for Hundreds maybe Thousands of years. I had spent weeks watching this lake in Lake Ronkonkoma on Long Island in New York State. This day I was driving around going past one of the many Parks and Beaches around the lake. While I was going North on Lake Shore Road I saw something in the water out of the corner of my eye, but after weeks of watching this lake I thought it was just someone out on another blow up raft and didn’t really think much of it !

As I was passing the Dinning Hall “Windows on the Lake” there is an opening where Guests can get a good look at the lake. I looked over and I saw what I had though to be a raft a few seconds before was the creature. I though to myself this could just be another hoax! After years of searches and hunts leading to nothing but dead ends I was not going to get my hopes up to fast. I slowed down and watched as the Creature swam around the lake enjoying itself! I was a little scared but at the same time I could not stop myself from smiling thinking this was really it!

I drove around the lake following along with “Ronky” at some point I pulled into a parking lot and walked onto one of the beaches. I slowly got my Camera out fearing as soon as I went to take the picture the creature would disappear. I snapped a shot, checked it in the review mode of the Camera and I could not believe I had captured a perfect shot of the Creature that no one could dispute the authenticity of ! When I looked back at the Lake Ronky was gone.

Over the next few days I carefully started asking the locals in the area if they had ever seen something weird in the Lake? It seems that to everyone in Lake Ronkonkoma Ronky is well known. He is not a myth or urban legend here. He is just another Member of the Village! I have been told there are two Differences between Nessie in Scotland’s Loch ness and Ronky in New York’s Lake Ronkonkoma. One Ronky is real and Two Ronky is protected by the Locals and his name is not defiled for tourist money.

There are many stories of Ronky that go back Hundreds of years. The one I found most interesting was a story that happened about 15 years ago. It seems there was an expedition sent to look into and map the depths and some underwater streams under Lake Ronkonkoma. This expedition never happened. The Official Story given was the expedition ran out of Money and was going to come back when they got more funds. I was told by an old time resident that wishes her Identity to remain a secret that the real story is a group called the “Keepers of the Lake” told the expiation in no uncertain terms it would be in their best interested for them to leave and not come back!!!

The people of Lake Ronkonkoma have kept this Monster Ronky loved and Protected for many years! I respect and sympathize with them, but I have spent my adult life and most of my families fortune searching for a creature like Ronky. This is my job and I must share this with the world. I have received many threats not to print this story! I have posted it here to go out to these newsgroups if I do not reset the settings at least once a week. If you are reading this there is a good chance something has happen to me. Please do not let what I have spent my life hunting for go unheard of ! Ronky is there in that Lake!

Hardworking Canadians Have Embraced The Economic Benefits Of Casinos

by Marco Mendoza

Surprisingly, there are casinos in Canada. This is hardly a development envisaged by her earliest settlers. It is a recent phenomenon, and would represent a departure from the straight and narrow to those who originally moved to Canada from Europe.

The First Nations of Canada have a strong gambling tradition. When the early frontiersmen arrived from France, they brought their own love of games of chance with them. For this reason, there is a common Canadian notion that French people are responsible for gambling in Canada. But when the British arrived and started gaining power, they quickly vetoed all gambling activity in Canada. From the year eighteen ninety two gambling was banned by law. In nineteen sixty nine the law was changed to allow gambling under strictly controlled circumstances Individual Provinces regulated the new, stringent conditions.

Winnipeg, Manitoba was the place to win the much sought after permission to build Canada’s first casino in nineteen eighty nine. Until nineteen ninety three, any Canadian with a lucky streak and a wish to get into a Canadian casino had only the Winnipeg option. Quebec and Ontario managed to get things moving on their end of the country in nineteen ninety four. This seemed to be a critical event. Slowly casinos began appearing all across Canada. However, this was not universally apparent. To this day there are several non -gambling provinces in Canada.

Out in the cold Atlantic lie the three hold-out Provinces. In Newfoundland Labrador you can gamble in many ways, but there are no casinos. The same is true of the Provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward island. The reasons for this distrust of casinos are ingrained in the culture of these Provinces, but it will give way eventually.

The rest of Canada is learning how to provide a world class casino experience, almost as quickly as they are erecting these palaces dedicated to Chance. In August of this year, there were 69 of these facilities in Canada. Their presence is an economic sure thing for the communities where they spring up.

With our economic system in such a fragile state, it is no wonder that more people today consider casino ventures than at any previous time in Canada. But there is a strong concern among Canadians about the proven social ill effects of an increased chance to gamble. But despite this, nothing will stop the powerful casino lobby any time in the near future. Canadians know that the social evils of casinos are balanced with the economic growth they foster.

Canadians, like so many others, like to gamble. But since Canada regarded all gambling as a crime for so many years, there is an element of guilt associated with going to casinos. Two out of four Canadians will readily reveal that they play the lotteries. However, less than one in four will list casinos as a regular destination.

The real history of casinos in Canada is yet to be written. The Canadians will turn their attention to the future where the benefits of casinos will help ease many problems. They have already learned to ignore outdated prejudices This is just the beginning!.

The Benefits Of Technical Documentation

by Allen Wright

The benefits of technical documentation make the difference between competency of a product, and, or inadequacy of manipulation. Every person has a different level of comprehension and it is not an easy task to put all persons on the same page of clarity.

The competency of handling a product at the user-end relies on the skills of the technical writer. The series of events are cyclic in nature. The inventor provides information to the writer who then takes on the technical aspects of functionality and advises by documentation the procedure necessary for utilization.

It would seem that the originator of criteria would be the best suited to explain the concept however this is just not the case. Most inventors devote total focus to their creation and it is second nature to them on how it works, and they in turn think that this knowledge should simply be evident to anyone.

It is important that the documentation writer is able to understand the information received by the inventor in having the ability to bring across the technical aspects of the functionality involved to the user. The user in turn will provide important feedback to the writer in expression of clarity in utilization or the inability to understand the steps.

One of the technical writers most important tools is that of data gathering in making sure that he has total comprehension of a product in using his skills to inform the user about the product. His ability to create a design in assisting to convey the instructions, once received by the inventor, are proof of his skills and training.

These persons are better equipped at relaying the steps necessary for proper manipulation of a device or clarification of a procedure. From a professional standpoint, focus is on the education of a technical documentation writer. What type of training they have received will generally depict the type of tools they will use in effecting the completed documentation.

Design plays a large part in developing manuals, and other documents. Imagery is an important tool in defining a concept in addition to the text associations. Working in the field and acquiring user feedback is an important factor in the growth of skill sets exhibited by a creator of technical documentation. Feedback in itself helps to advise the creator of how comprehensive the work is, or is not.

Feedback is vital to ensure that the writer has achieved effectively the “how to” as described in the instructions to the user. If the user is at a total loss after reading the instructions to figure out how to manipulate the product, the writer’s job is not complete. The user will contact the company, who in turn will monitor the information received. Depending on how many contacts received in relation to a particular product will be the deciding factor that the documentation is not effective, and requires revision.

The understanding of technical documentation is what a technical writer provides. He uses training and skills to ensure that the information received is comprehensive and easy to understand, and relies on user feedback to confirm that he has achieved this goal.

I prefer to save movies to the computer at the outset and then transfer them to the game console. This way I have my music in both places and I have a back up on the computer in case an error occurs when transferring the files to the game console. For downloading movies from the Internet, select your movie selections and save the movie to a dedicated file on the computer. Then copy those files from the computer to the recently formed drive for the game console. In order to transport movies from a DVD to the game console a DVD ripper is needed.

My heart goes out to all the families and friends affected by this terrible tragedy.

Hasan, a psychiatrist, killed- people and injured 30. He had a difficult time advising Muslim American soldiers what to do when they expressed confusion in fighting other Muslims abroad.

Hasan reportedly gave away all of his furniture along with copies of the Koran to neighbors before the shooting.

As usual, we receive many clues when looking at the names, dates and numbers.

First the date, 11.5.2009. These digits add up to’ – a number symbolizing materialism wanting to destroy the spiritual side of nature, and social upheaval or war. This number warns to watch for deception from friends of enemies.

As for Major Malik Hasan there are many numbers activated for him right now. Remember it is always the whole recipe of numbers we must consider when it comes to major events.

Right now, Hasan is 39 years old. 39 reduces to 12 – the victim or victimizer vibration.

Hasan was born on an 8 Day.

He goes by the current name ‘Nidal Malik Hasan’ – a 22/4 name number. When you have an 8 or 4 in your birthday, like Hasan does, combined with an 8 or 4 current name – you automatically attract fateful people and events into your life.

November 5 was a 35/8 Personal Day for him, acting as a trigger.

13 people were killed, and- reduces to 4, also tying into the fateful 4 and 8 combination.

The name ‘Fort Hood’ is a 44/8 current name, which would attract fateful events.

Another number is reflected in the 43 total casualties. Note that President George W. Bush was the 43rd President. Number 43 is very challenging because it symbolizes revolution, upheaval, conflict and even war. 43 indicates failure and disappointment – the keywords for Bush’s time in office.

More mysteries are revealed in Nidal Malike Hasan’s current name.

I created several lexigrams using the letters in ‘NIDAL MALIK HASAN.’ Remember he was known as a kind, gentle man who was conflicted about his role as army psychiatrist. He was despondent about being deployed to Afghanistan.

Some lexigrams for Hasan are -

“Hasan Hid in Hills and Had Mania.”

“Ill Man Kills.”

“Mild Man Had Mask.”

“Man Is An Island.”

“Kinsman Aids Hasan.”

“Kind Man ails, damns mainland.”

Truly remarkable insights into the mild-mannered man who was stationed in the rolling hills of Texas.

It’s important to note that most lexigrams are not this negative. They give you stunning insights into every facet of your life – spiritual, emotional and physical.

In Nidal Malik Hasan’s case, I would have highly recommended that he change the spelling of his name to a fortunate number. The 22/4 name he has now would never be recommended. With a fortunate name, these negative lexigrams would have had far less influence on him.

You can protect yourself and your loved ones by making sure your current name is fortunate.
