With the football season nearly halfway over, it looks like the contenders and the pretenders are starting to separate themselves. The race is wide open in both conferences, but there are some very obvious front runners at the moment.

This article will break down some of the top teams in each conference, followed by a prediction as to who ends up emerging in each of the two conferences.

In the AFC, it would appear that there are a few clear contenders. First of all, the Pittsburgh Steelers have bounced back from a disappointing start, winners of 4 straight and now 5-2. They have Troy Polamalu back and the fact that they beat the Vikings shows that this team is strong.

There are also the surprising Denver Broncos, though no one is fully ready to take them seriously yet. Don’t forget about the Patriots either, playing some strong football.

While all of these teams have been great, no AFC team has been as strong as the Colts. An incredibly efficient offense has dominated its opponents, thanks to the steady hand of Peyton Manning. Until the Colts lose, they’re tops in the conference.

The NFC may be a bit easier to dissect, but by no means is it a sure thing. The New Orleans Saints look like the strongest team in the NFC thus far.

Many call Drew Brees the best quarterback in the NFL, and with good reason. His numbers are simply incredible, and the high powered offense in New Orleans has been virtually unstoppable to date.

There are some other teams that can’t be overlooked. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings both look exceptional right now, and veteran QBs Brett Favre and Donovan McNabb are leading their teams in true form. Behind these teams would be the Giants and the Cardinals, though both have been inconsistent at times.

People all across the world spend hours watching television. They get hooked on their favourite shows and even discuss the characters as if they exist in real life. They become addicted to TV gaming options and new connection capability. Yet, with the upgrade the viewer gains much intensity in action films and gaming. LED TVs are more efficient at creating excellent pictures of fast motions. The LED HDTV manufacturers also claim that television cuts energy consumption by 40%.

Once the decision to upgrade has been made, there are several factors to consider before shopping for a new TV. A careful comparison should be made between LED TVs, LCD TVs, and Plasma TVs. The newest of the three, LED TVs, offer larger screen options. Their viewing angle is still short of the plasma but the reflective screen and burn out issue are not a problem.

When looking at terms associated with a LED screen, the word high definition will likely arise. All LED TVs has full high definition but not to the same degree. The LEDs in a LED screen combine to form little pixels or dots that contribute to the visual output. These red, blue, and green pixels work together to form all other colors including white. On some screens, a group of 9000 LEDs may be located within any one meter. In this case, the LEDs would be close together with a small pitch, space between them. A TV with a small pixel pitch has higher definition than screens with larger pixel pitch.

In addition to LEDs making their way into the world of television, they are now breaking ground with the LED monitor. The once popular flat screen LCD monitor has been outdone when it comes to color accuracy and precision. The LED monitors are created without metal that is found in other bulb type monitors. NEC is one of the first to put the LED monitor on the market with a cost reaching up to $6000 or more to purchase.

It appears that LED has made its presence known in the world of electronics and does not intend to leave anytime soon. However, over time consumers should see reduction capabilities in the size of LED screens along with a reduction in cost.

Hollywood has seen a lot of fantasy movies in the last few years, but one movie that towers above the rest is The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King movie. It is a rare masterpiece that has stretched our imagination to the max and satisfied our fantasy desires. Director Peter Jackson is the brain child behind this magnificent movie and should get most of the credit for taking the initiative to create such a work of genius.

Peter Jackson comes up with some incredible computer generated special effects, especially with Gollum. In addition, the final battle is one of the biggest we’ve ever seen in a movie with some new evil characters trying to takeover Middle Earth. In fact, this movie has more than one battle scene and each one is better than the other.

Another key element in the Return of the King movie is that each character has their glory moment in this movie. Aragon is will be the King who has returned and will meet his Queen. Also Merry and Pippin, after being separated, showcase their individual skills and talents, to earn glory for themselves.

Almost all the characters including the important one’s such as Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas, Sam and Frodo give an award winning performance and make this movie one of the biggest successes in the movie industry. Adding to their talents is Peter Jackson who picks the most magnificent locations to showcase these brilliant actors’ skills.

Each of these three movies has been a masterful stroke to create the trilogy picture for the Lord of the Rings fans, so to say that one was better than the other would be incorrect as each has had its own charm. The movie grabs your attention from the first scene and grips you until the end, where it leaves you craving for more.

But now it’s all over. This is it for the Lord of the Rings fans. All good things come to end and so has this brilliant fantasy trilogy that was so well put across to the world audience by Peter Jackson. We can only hope that in the future there will be movies that might try to come close to this epic movie.

The baggy jeans are still in fashion but there are some new styles added to the mix. The fitted look is starting to get popular and is being worn by celebrities like Andre 3000, Will I. Am and Kanye West. Urban clothing is still evolving and it is evident that hip-hop fashion will continue to be a major force in designer clothing.
