Nutcracker the Motion Picture – Much of this rendition of The Nutcracker, acted by the Pacific Norhtwest Ballet, is like a music video with rapid cutting and close-ups of legs, faces, and elbows. This is tremendously irritating. However the Tchaikovsky music is, obviously, amazing, as are Maurice Sendak’s sets and costumes.
