Players must retrieve specifically colored disks identified by the controller. When the disks have been hidden a player may be commanded to find a yellow, blue, green, orange, or red disk and are timed as they retrieve them.
The second level of Wild Planet Hyper Dash provides uses the numbers one through five to teach number skills. Players must retrieve the disk that the controller identifies and receives points for getting the right disk. When the wrong disk is selected the controller tells the player what the number is that has been selected and what the number is that must be retrieved. This provides further assistance with increasing recognition and memory for young children.
The controller provides multiple commands in the third level of Wild Planet Hyper Dash. Players are asked to retrieve multiple disks based on randomly selected numbers and colors. The command may have the player retrieve the disks in the order commanded or in reverse order. There may be a double reverse command which includes retrieving two disks in reverse order then a triple reverse which will require retrieval of three disks in reverse order.
The highest level of Wild Planet Hyper Dash increases both memory and a player’s subtraction and addition skills. Players are provided problems by the controller which must be solved. The answer is on one of the disks, which the player must find and retrieve. When disks have been hidden the player must also remember where the disks are as they are solving the problem.
