Many music lovers think that vinyl LPs are the best way to listen to an album. They think that there’s a magic to watching the “black circle” (to quote Pearl Jam) rotate and knowing that the sound you are listening to is coming from the needle rather than a series of 1s and 0s.

It’s this feeling that has Beatles addicts very excited about the possibility of The Beatles remasters (which have sold extremely well on CD) making their way to vinyl LPs in in March of 2010. Although as of right now no release date has been officially set, it’s believed that Apple Corps. is working on a Vinyl record release of The Beatles remastered stereo mixes but there’s no indication that the mono remasters will also be released on vinyl.

The Beatles LPs that are available now were pressed using the’87 digital remasters so these new vinyl records should be as improved in sound quality as the new CDs are when compared to the’87 compact discs (and, by the way, I definitely recommend listening to these new CDs if you haven’t yet.

Like most other Beatles fans I’m definitely planning on ordering The Beatles Remastered Vinyl LP Box Set as soon as it is available to order (as I’m sure it’ll sell out fast) even though I’ve already bought all of these remasters on CD (and on The Beatles USB.)

According to the information that I have read, the new Beatles vinyl will be sold individually and as a part of a box set (just like The Beatles remastered stereo CDs.) The current rumored date for release is March 16, 2010 but there’s a good chance that will not end up as the actual release date.

While you’re waiting for the vinyl LPs I strongly recommend buying The Beatles in Stereo CD Box Set and The Beatles in Mono Box Set. They both sound awesome. I personally end up listening to stereo CDs more commonly (as I just prefer listening to music in stereo more than in mono, in general) but that being said, the mono mixes are interesting too.

Most of us know we want, yet, attracting abundance is anything but a simple matter for most of us. We want the great houses, perfect jobs, fast cars, and perfect relationships, but why is it that so many of us try and fail to do this? It’s not that we don’t have the skills or abilities that those who seem to get these things effortlessly do. It’s just that we don’t know what’s behind attracting abundance, and how to make it happen for us.

What does attracting abundance mean, exactly? It means that you manifest your needs and desires within your conscious and subconscious mind, both, letting the universe know that you are worth having your dreams manifest for you. We have to believe in our abilities and the universe’s power; if we can do that, we can be richly blessed.

Simply, that’s because our thoughts have real power. They reflect our needs and desires, our level of self-esteem, and in short directly influence what will be attracted into our lives. If you are self-loathing and don’t believe in your own abilities, it’s going to be almost impossible to be good at attracting abundance. However, if you train yourself to think positive thoughts and on how to be confident, if you believe you deserve to get what you want and need, your life simply can’t do anything but overflow with abundance.

Manifesting abundance is not a special ability; everybody has the ability to do this, and you can do it if you choose to take control of your own thoughts and ask the universe for guidance. Self-reflection and meditation are paths to learning just what those desires are, and if you can do that, you can discover what you really want.

To start attracting abundance, use note cards or a journal to record your daily thoughts. When you catch yourself making negative thoughts, write them down on a note card. Look at what you have written and write down a positive response. For example, writing ‘I hate my job.’ does not help you focus on your goal of getting a better paying job.

Instead, say something positive, like, “I am very deserving of having a job I love.” It can be as detailed about this desire as you want it to be. Write down exactly what you want, including a specific field, the exact salary, the position, and everything. Look at these note cards with the your statements written on them and see yourself getting exactly what you want.

Make a box that you can keep your goals in, and put note cards with those goals written on them, pictures that support those positive goals, and anything else in that box that will support your desires. For example, brochures from travel agencies to places you want to go to, pictures of houses you want to own, and so on.

By the way, fantasy is very important when it comes to attracting abundance. In addition, sleeping and dreaming lets our imagination soar and release its creativity. When relaxed, and more open, and we can fantasize to our heart’s content without incurring negative thoughts. To use this, you can focus on your thoughts while you’re falling asleep, and ask for what you want from the universe.

One of the easiest ways to meditate is to do so in front of the picture that shows what you want to get, or in front of something that represents the goals you want to achieve. Within this mirror every day and say something positive about yourself that you really mean, so that you can increase your confidence.

The universe tends to act quickly. Don’t be surprised that when you fully believe in the power of attracting abundance previous stumbling blocks and obstacles quickly disappear.

Think back to your childhood and think about some of your favorite candies. While many of them have evolved and some even remain the same, there are those candies that you can no longer find in stores.

They used to be mainstays in candy stores, pharmacies, and grocery stores, but they seem to be gone and out of reach these days. Let’s take a look at some of the more enjoyable candies from the past that no longer seem to exist.

Bonkers candy. Remember this one? It was a chewy candy. Really chewy in fact. There was one fruit flavor on the outside of the candy, with a second color and flavor on the inside.

From the grape and strawberry fruit flavors to a tasty chocolate flavored chewy candy, there was a lot to love about Bonkers. Unfortunately, they quietly removed themselves from the candy scene. This came as a surprise to me and many friends as well.

Juice box bubble gum. You’ll probably remember these if you were around in the ’80s. These came in mini juice cartons, and they came in flavors like orange and grape.

They were little pebble shaped drops of gum, and they were absolutely delicious. This was some of the best gum I’ve ever chewed. Again, it’s been a really long time since I’ve seen these.

Finally, you might remember that the Mars bar was one of the most popular candy bars a number of years ago. If you were to look on store shelves today, you’d notice that they’re nowhere to be found. Did the Mars bar disappear?

Well, you’ll be happy to know that they’re “disguised” now, as the old Mars bar is now the Snickers almond bar that you see in many stores. If you’re in the mood for a Mars bar, now you know exactly how to get your fix.

Times have changed, but fewer candies have. We’re fortunate to still have most of the classics that defined our childhoods.
