LG BD 370 Network Blu Ray Disc Player Review
The newer generation LG BD 370 network blu ray disc player allows you to watch blu ray discs, DVDs, and view moview fom online providers such as NetFlix. This is a second generation of the BD blu ray players.
The BD370 sports a sleek sporty design in black and silver. Fold down doors conceal the DVD slot and the controls. The only drawback is the angled power and eject buttons on the middle silver button. A built in USB connector allows you to view JPEG and MP3 files directly from this player.
Audio outputs on the back include coaxial and digital stereo output. Other connectors include 7.1 surround sound (for audiophiles) and 2 channel stereo for older systems. Video outputs include component video for a good picture, HDMI for an excellent picture, and coaxial video for older television sets that can not display high definition pictures.
With the ethernet port built into the back panel, the LG BD 370 disc player is ready to go on your network. Simply plug it into your home network with a patch cable and it is ready to go. This means that network updates, firmware updates, are readily available without waiting for a disc to be sent to you. It is also network ready to play back your favorite movies from online sources on the internet. Out of the box it is ready to play NetCast, NetFlix, CinemaNow, and You Tube videos. The BD370 has its ethernet port included as a standard feature.
Full high definition at up to 1080p is available with the BD370. It has the ability to show up to a full 1080p at 24 frames per second of video. It will also do a good job of up converting your DVDs as you play them as well. This means that you will see your high definition movies in all of their vibrant color and definition.
When looking at entry level Blu-Ray network ready players, you can’t do much if any better than the LG BD 370 Network Blu Ray Disc Player.
