It was a quite day in a small Bar in upstate New York . The girl working behind the bar was young, she had just turned Nineteen and had only been bar tending a few weeks, this was her first time working alone. Everything was going fine with only two of the regulars in the back shooting pool it was nothing she could not handle she thought to herself.

Then the front door opened and in walked ten of the biggest men she had ever seen. They talked loudly and as they walked over to the far side of the bar, She got a look at the back of their jackets. She could easily see that the markings on them where all the same. The men ordered pitchers of beer and their talking only got louder as they drank more and talked about things she did not understand. Then the men went quite as the front door opened and in walked seven more large men, at first she thought these seven men where with the first Ten as they looked and dressed similar but as she looked at the markings on the backs of these new comers Jackets she could tell while they where similar the markings where different, By the way the two groups where looking at each other she guessed the difference must mean a lot to them.

The Seven men sat up toward the front of the bar and also ordered pitchers of beer. The young girl did her best to make sure both groups where kept happy, but it was just a matter of time and Beer! When one of the men from the first group called out to her, “Hey Honey don’t worry about those guys, there losers! Come over here and hang with some real men.” That was all it took, the fuse was lit. “Who you calling losers pal we are good enough to beat you any day of the week!” Yelled back a guy from the second group. “You may think your as good as us but you never will be!” Yelled back a man from the first group.

Then in what was a blur to our young barmaid a fight broke out between the two groups it was loud and she could hear glass and wood breaking all around her as the men cursed and screamed at each other. This young Girl was scared and she feared for her life.

Her fear abated a little when in the distance she heard sirens. The police are coming, she thought to herself as she hid behind the bar. The police arrived in force and they stormed in arresting the men and taking them away. When things got quite and all the men where taken away the young girl looked around the small bar. So much damage she thought to herself, She looked at one of the officers and asked how did you know to come here. We got a call that these two groups where both heading to this bar and we just knew, it happens all the time with these type of guys!!!

Epilogue: The next morning when the young barmaid awoke she walked down stairs to the kitchen where her father was reading the morning paper. Does it say anything about the fight in the bar yesterday she asked her father? Yes he said as he pointed to a small article in the back of the paper “Yankees and Mets fans Brawl it out in small town bar” the story went on to explain how all the men where given tickets for disorderly conduct and released. That’s it she screamed at her father these men trash the bar, scare the hell out of me, They should all be in jail and all they get is Tickets!!! Calm down sweetheart her father said as he hugged her, The way your acting one would think it had been a bunch of rowdy Bikers in the bar yesterday! Those Guys would have been locked away, But it was only Sports fans!

I wrote an article a while back called “Why speak to the Motorcycle Clubs in your area before starting a new MC?” It was about why those wishing to start new Motorcycle Clubs should go and speak to those who have come before them. If you have not read the article look it up on my March 2009 archive page on NY-Biker.com

Since then, I’ve begun seeing and hearing some things that worry me. I have seen many groups popping up. Some of these groups have names like Lone Wolf or Independent Riders. While I suppose the names are meant to distance these groups from real motorcycle clubs, they still resemble legitimate clubs in the way they dress, and to a certain degree, the way they act.

Now I am sure some of you are saying “hey LJ these guys just want to do their own thing back off a bit, what really is the harm in what these guys are doing?” Well that’s the Million dollar Question! Exactly what is the real harm? Let me see if I can explain how I see it.

If you put on a uniform, pinned on a badge and hung out at Dunkin Donuts you may look like and act like a cop but you would not be a real cop. When a real cop saw you, You would probaly be in a lot of trouble!

Now due to High Gas Prices, The Economy, and people waking up to the fact that riding a Motorcycle is one of the Greatest things in the world, the ranks of motorcycle riders have exploded. Many of these new riders see shows like Sons Of Anarchy, Gangland or movies like Hell Ride and think, “This is cool, I’m going to start a Club” even though they know nothing about Motorcycle Clubs or the Biker lifestyle.

Shows like Sons of Anarchy are a fictional dramatization of what a group of television writers think a Motorcycle Club is. Programs like Gangland claim to investigate 1%er Clubs. Their “investigation consists of looking up every little Crime members of a 30 year old Motorcycle Club have ever been accused of and then Squeeze all the Negative info about the MC into about 45 Minutes of air time.

The concern is that you have new and independent riders forming “Clubs” with no real knowledge of what it means to be a member of a Motorcycle Club. Some of these clubs are forming with only shows like SOA and Gangland as the model for what a Motorcycle Club should be.

Being a member of a Motorcycle Club is about Brotherhood, Loyalty, Respect, Freedom, and Honor. It’s not about Drugs, Guns, and Biker Wars.

In the Motorcycle Club world you start off as either a prospect for an established Motorcycle Club or your new MC starts off as a Supporter of a established MC and they help to teach you what it truly means to be a Member of a Motorcycle Club.

It’s like an artist taking on an apprentice and passing on what he has learned. The knowledge he passes on has been passed on down to him for Hundreds of Generations.

Now where the danger lies is the art being taught can be thousands of years old but, It only takes one generation of not passing the right information down and the art is lost forever!

With the creation of so many pseudo MC’s, We risk a danger a lot worse than losing the art of what a Motorcycle Club is all about , We risk watching the Mutation of the World We all Love turned into something as ugly as the negative, hyped up TV Shows and movies we’ve all seen.

If your thinking about starting a Motorcycle Club or want to join one, start by talking to local Club members you see at events or contact established Clubs directly. Every MC has its own set of rules, etc, but if you’re serious about becoming an MC or MC Member, you’ll have no problem finding the situation that is right for you. As I said in the beginning, I have no problem with people starting their own Clubs. It’s just that starting a Motorcycle Club is something that should be done the right way and not be taken lightly. Let us work together to Preserve the Heritage of the Motorcycle Club world and make it stronger, not destroy it.

Japanese kanji tattoos are very popular as a style of tattoo design. One character can represent the meaning that you would like to express in a small stylish design. Getting a Japanese kanji tattoo does have its dangers though, as it is easy to get it wrong. Read on to find out what you can go wrong so you make sure it doesn’t happen to you.

If you are after a Japanese tattoo design, you may think the easiest and quickest thing to do is to use an online translation tool. Enter the english word for the tattoo that you want and you will get the Japanese translation back. You can then get a tattoo for the Japanese word that you have found right? The problem is that online translation tools are not perfect, and sometimes get it very wrong. You cannot rely on these types of tools for something so important and it is worth the time and money to get a native speaker to do the translation for you.

Many people want a tattoo design that represents their name. If that is what you want, you should understand that Japanese is made up of three writing systems, Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana, and the differences between them.

Foreign names should be written in Katakana only as Katakana is the writing system used for foreign words, including names. Although it is possible to come up with a Kanji, or Chinese character combination for most names, it is a made up and artificial way of writing a foreign name that is not used in Japan.

Once you have selected a design you may have it on a stencil ready for the tattoo artist. If the tattoo artist is not familiar with Japanese characters, it is quite possible that they could get the orientation wrong. It has happened that the character has ended up reversed or upside down. It is best to find a tattoo artist that is familiar with Japanese and Kanji, but if you cannot, at least mark the orientation of the character clearly so that there is no chance that it will be wrong.

Anyone who has had a chance to play the Guitar Hero 3 video game can tell you how addictive it is to play but they can also attest to the fact that it is a lot more difficult to beat than any of the previous versions that were released. Thats the whole reason for me writing and you reading this article; so I can share my secrets with you and help you master Guitar Hero 3.

The easiest and most common mistake people make when getting started on Guitar Hero 3 is to just jump in with both feet and try to blow through all of the levels too quickly without actually taking the time to truly understand the game and, just as importantly, the controller. With this game you really need to take it slow and train your hands and fingers how to operate the controller, almost like learning to play a real guitar. After doing this you will be ready to tackle the more advanced levels of the game.

The first level of the game is deceptively easy and most people find themselves blowing through without taking the time they should to familiarize themselves with the game and how it is played. Rushing through these early games without spending the time to learn the necessary game play techniques will leave a player unable to progress in the higher levels.

To truly master Guitar Hero 3 you need to exercise a bit of self discipline and force yourself to slow down when moving through the levels. By taking the time to actually master each progression of skill levels you will be laying the ground work you are going to need when you get to the most difficult expert levels. If you follow this plan you will be a master shredder when you tackle the nearly impossible songs at the end of the game.

I would also suggest that you take a friend along for the ride when you are trying to beat the expert levels of Guitar Hero 3. It is a lot easier to achieve something when you have someone else pushing you and giving you a little bit of support when you start missing those harder notes.

When you are playing alone, it is pretty easy to get frustrated and just put the game away. When you are playing in co-op mode, you are playing for both you and your friend and that little extra bump may be all you need to put you over the top in Guitar Hero 3.

I saw this fantastic magic show the other night. He was absolutely fantastic. The way he held the crowd in the palm of his hand was nothing less than spectacular. If you have ever seen a magician up close, then you know what I’m talking about. It’s like they have some kind of psychic power over the audience.

Lots of folks watch a magic show and secretly think to themselves that they, too, would like to be the one up there performing. But they are usually stopped dead in their mental tracks by some thought of how difficult it is. If you’d like to do magic, then I’ve got great news. It’s actually pretty easy once you know the set of skills you should learn.

The first step, of course, is to learn some magic tricks. This is the easiest part. Card tricks, sleight of mouth tricks, coin tricks, anything you can learn is good. Biography movies are about real people in real situations. If you’ve never watched a biography, I encourage you to do so, as you will be intrigued with the lives and times of the greatest people we’ve come to know in history. These true stories of real people and what they faced, obstacles they hurdled, and the triumphs and tragedies they endured, are highly entertaining and inspiring.

What makes biographies so intriguing is that you know these are real people who faced real struggles and how they overcame them. You learn about their lives, the challenges they faced, and the outcomes, whether positive or negative. Biographies can also be read in a book, essay or online reviews as well.

You can watch your favorite actor or actress in a biography. You can also read biographies in books, essays and biography reviews. Some of my favorite movie biographies are: Schindler’s List, Catch Me If You Can, A Beautiful Mind, Ray, The Aviator, Passion of The Christ and What’s Love Got To Do With It.

The internet is a great place to find biography review sites that will aid you in your search for a good movie biography to watch. You’ll find the review sites to be helpful in that you’ll read peoples personal opinions on the movies they have watched. You can also leave yours as well.

You will find tons of movies and reviews to help you find a biography of your liking. As I have mentioned, biographies are very enjoyable to watch.

One of my all time favorite movie biographies is Schindler’s List, which is a powerful film about the Holocaust, which brought tears to my eyes more than once. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the movie is completely shot in black and white, except for the red coat girl, which was brilliant on his part.

Liam Neeson plays Oskar Schindler, the German businessman whose company is making money off the back of German military contracts. His relationship with the Germans is purely for profit as he employs Jewish people at no pay. He soon learns the awful truth about how the Germans are slaughtering the Jews by sending them to the gas chambers in Auschwitz. He then starts a crusade to save as many as he can.

It’s a gut wrenching, heart felt movie that truly depicts the hardships of the Jews and the real truth about what they had faced with the Germans. It really was inspiring to see how many Jews he had saved, although in the end, he felt he hadn’t saved enough.

This movie biography and many others are what makes biographies so intensely riveting and interesting to watch. Even though Hollywood will interject their bits of fiction, for the most part the biographies are real stories of real people.
