How To Understand Which Bakugan Toys Are Best
It would seem that toy manufacturers are always coming out with some new toy and those of us shopping for them are in the dark. If you have a child that is into Bakugan toys then you may need a bit of help in knowing what to buy. My son helped me put together this information so I would know as well.
I will start by explaining a little about what they are. These are collectable toys that come in a lot of different varieties. Children use them to battle against one another with other Bakugan. They have cards that are used in these battles as well and these will help to determine and special abilities or attributes. The most powerful Bakugan will usually will the match.
Bakugan can be found at any major toy store. Like any toy some are better than others. If the child already collects these then you may want to investigate a bit and find out which ones they currently have but duplicates are not always bad because they may have a different power.
They have regular and trap Bakugan as well. The regular usually look like a ball when unopened where as the trap Bakugan come in a variety of shapes. They will need some of both types if they want to do battle with them. You can distinguish the trap Bakugan by the package; it will say trap on the front.
While you can buy single Bakugan toys I would recommend a set. You can buy packages with 3 in them or you can buy a starter set. The start set comes with six Bakugan but no trap Bakugan. The Bakugan Bakusphere come with 2 regular Bakugan and 1 trap Bakugan and holds a total of 8. This also comes with some cards which are needed in battle as well.
The tin comes with 2 regular Bakugan and no trap Bakugan. This will hold 18 Bakugan and cards as well. They also sell carrying cases that do not come with any Bakugan for easy storage and to carry with them. These are good if they have a lot of them and need a place to keep them safe.
There are also 2 new sets out that don’t come with a case. One of them comes with 7 regular and the other with 1 regular and 6 trap. You may ask the child you are shopping for what they are most in need of if they already have a lot.
The cards used for this are found in the sets and sold separately. The game itself can be changed up a lot even using the same Bakugan by using different cards during play. They will want quite a few of these to go with each Bakugan in their collection.
This can get to be quite expensive as a hobby and to get them all may take several years. I would advise starting slow and building over time. If your child wants to collect these it can be a great hobby. Mine loves Bakugan toys and they are definitely on his Christmas list.
