I’ve been using a LOTRO leveling guide when my guildies found themselves in need of a new healer, as our number one minstrel bailed on us leaving the game for good. As a minstrel is pretty squishy, at least at a low level, this guide was great as it created for me a nice leveling path, also showing me numerous tips and tricks to keep up a high XP rate. Therefore, to help all the fellow players with their leveling, I’m going to reveal here a few bits of wisdom this LOTRO leveling guide has taught me:

1. When raising up a character, always move from a camp with mobs or a point of interest to another ignoring all the mobs that you will aggro. If you stop to kill every nasty goblin that will attack, you will certainly waste a lot of time and this will hinder your progress.

2. Always have your character buffed when leveling. Regeneration foods for example are the most important buffs that a player needs for leveling up. So, always buy biscuits, pies or any other foods that give you healer and power regeneration because that way you will be far more effective.

3. Always do quests. If you prefer grinding, at a higher level you’ll probably notice that your XP bar refuses to move if you only kill mobs, even if you spend the destiny points on rested XP. Fortunately, the LOTRO leveling guide I’ve been using provided me with a nicely made questing path and I was able to knock down 4-5 quests on almost every location in the game.

4. Don’t waste time with quests that are hard to complete or trying to finish fellowship quests solo, unless you know for sure that you will succeed. Always focus on the quests you can complete solo, in fact, pick up and do every soloable quest that you come across, even the crafting ones.

5. A very nice speed enhancement in LOTRO is a mount. So, when you’re eligible for riding, run quickly and complete the mount chain of quests. Also, make sure you have the money to buy the skill and the horse. You will be needing 3 gold and some change.

These tips should be useful to any player working on any class in Lord of the Rings Online. However, if my tips aren’t enough, you can also follow the nicely made questing path in the LOTRO leveling guide I’ve been using.

Snooker is a European cousin to the game of pool. It is quickly becoming popular in the United States, taking it’s ranks as one of the most played games out of all the cue games in the world. At a glance, Snooker may appear to be very similar to the game of pool. Indeed the equipment needed is pretty much the same. However, there are few obvious differences on closer inspection. The most obvious difference lies in the snooker tables. They have a different pocket number than pool tables.

Just like its cousin, snooker is a hit with cue game players. There are leagues for it where you can learn to play and then compete for cash prizes. Many confuse it with pool, and that is understandable. Both games are basically the same, if you are not educated to see the subtle differences.

Snooker is played on a table that has four pockets instead of the six seen in pool tables. The idea is to get all the balls into the pockets. The game is played in frames. It is predetermined how many frames equal a match.

To start a match, the balls are racked into a specific formation using the triangle. Players will then determine who goes first. They rack up the balls, and then determine what the terms are. Players then take turns shooting the balls into pockets. These balls must go in a certain order.

The victor is determined after a predetermined number of frames have been played. Generally the player who has shot all his or her balls into the pockets first in the correct order which was set before the game. More specific and strict rules and regulations are used during tournaments.
